I ordered this to have more shade under the gazebo in the afternoon (it's on the western side). It works as expected. When we are not out there, we untie it from one pole since we realized that high winds were catching the sunshade and moving the gazebo on the patio (the gazebo is not fastened to the patio). I bought this gazebo 2 months ago and installed it on my deck. We went to [...] and asked how to secure it to the deck. We were given bolts and mounted it to the deck to secure it. We have had no problems. Yes it gets windy during storms and it moves from side to side, but it is still standing. I bought a outdoor chandelier to hang on the hook inside. The mosquito netting is fantastic. I am thrilled with this purchase and feel I have earned my money's worth even if I had to buy a new one every year! It keeps the sun and bugs away and has allowed me to get more use of my deck than in the 7 years I have lived here. see less

I've never rated anything, anywhere, but this is so well-made that I feel the need to. ALL of the drilled holes lined up. ALL of the fabric seams are reinforced. A few assembly tips. Put the large canopy and the smaller center canopy on BEFORE you raise the roof with the side poles. Ignore the strange diagram in the instructions. The smaller center canopy ties onto the outside of the larger canopy, with little tie thingies. When putting on the diagonal supports that come with fabric attached, line up and put bolts into BOTH holes in the fabric BEFORE you insert the bolts into the holes and tighten. Trust me on this. Both canopies have corner pockets that fit over the ends of their support poles. The big canopy has these on its sides, too. I really recommend this particular gazebo. I'm surprised at its quality for the price, and I'll look at Target.com FIRST next time I need something like this. see less

after researching in person and online and looking at many outdoor gazebo's we decided to buy this one for our deck. It's the perfect fit for what we needed. It took 2 people to put it together. I was very happy with the quality of the construction and it was very easy to assemble. We have bolted it to our deck. We couldn't be any happier with out purchase and I am looking forward to spending time outside. see less

I love my Grill Gazebo with Canopy Top. I put it up myself It better if you have a helper. Other than that its great sturdy and great price. I barbecue a lot for the summer and I do all the cooking the sun was doing a number on my skin I was always burned. This keep me in the shade and I look great in my yard. No more worry about baking in the sun. see less

we just moved to North Indio, the 90 mile an hour wind zone and this cabana has held up to the wind, it is bolted to the concrete slab and my bbq and outdoor fridge fits under it nicely. It was very easy to put together, the poles are smaller in diameter than the larger cabana target sales but is it just as sturdy. the key to it is bolt it down to something that won't fly away. We are very happy with this cabana. see less

Just what I've been looking for. I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality. Nice and sturdy,not too big or too small. Fits just right on my deck over the grill. Was a "Godsend" on July 4th, it was so hot! It provided nice shelter from the sun while grilling. see less

Our gazebo got destroyed in Hurricane Sandy... Our deck and backyard are not the same. I miss the gazebo terribly, very emotional, damage to house too. We had two trees fall into house. I need the gazebo back! Cannot wait until the spring gets here to get a new one. We love the gazebo, we live outside and the gazebo all the time, May-Oct! It is durable, great quality, and a good buy when on sale, and/or free shipping! With the 2 trees gone, we need the gazebo especially now to fill in that void! Highly recommend the Madaga gazebo, it's the best one out there. It was recommended to me, and family & friends ask where we got it. Everyone is buying one! You can buy the string lights for it too to put under the canopy, adds extra ambiance. see less

We have had this gazebo for 2 years now, bolted to our deck. We are not in an area where the gazebo is exposed to high winds often. We have had zero problems with the frame. It is still beautiful with no hint of rust anywhere. The top canopy will need to be replaced next year, most likely, due to fading and stress where the poles are inserted. One pocket was torn after one season, but it's held tight despite. We had a back up ready for this year just in case. The mosquito net, which is a necessity where I live, is junk. The generic one arrived dry-rotted [...], but still only last 1 1/2 seasons. see less

Our deck faces directly south, so was mostly unusable during the summer months. This gazebo gave us our deck back by providing much needed shade, not to mention adding a lot of style. It looks great and has lasted through 3 seasons so far. Do purchase a spare cover. We didn't take it down one Fall and the freak heavy snow fall in Atlanta ripped through the canvas. So either get a spare or be diligent about removing the top before winter arrives! see less

Nice shades, bought 4 shades, the color match was not a problem, since my gazebo top is faded. I did change them up a little. I cut them down the middle and sewed them on my machine so that I am able to adjust them to he sun angles since we use our deck morning to night. A little work but now I can enjoy my comfy retreat from the sun an still be with my guests. see less

This appears to be an updated version of last year's model with the "flap" gazebo cover. Right off the bat, the taupe color is a big plus. It will hide dirt build-up that the beige covers show easily after a single season. It also looks like additional grommets have been added to allow rain to exit, rather than build-up and pool, like last year's model. With all the improvements, it's sad that the design took a hit and the two-tiered gazebo with top venting is gone. That would have made it just right. This is a minimum two-person set-up. Wear gloves, or your hands will get hot when setting up the metal posts. [...] see less

Unless you live in an area like Florida where you can keep this gazebo up all year round, stay far, far away from this product! I took a chance by ordering on line, thinking that this gazebo would have the same set up like past gazebos I ordered where the poles slide into each other at joints. This one comes with over 100 nuts & bolts to put the poles together with! It is not practical to take down and put up every year without the risk of stripping the nuts and bolts or for that matter losing a few! Poor design -- need to go back to basic!!!!!! Keep it simple!!!!!!! Very disappointed! see less

Fabulous well made gazebo. We put this up on Saturday in April and high winds on Sunday. The gazebo held up, didn't move. Took my husband and brother about 3 hours to put up. It is well made and rain beaded on the canopy overnight last night. The structure is not cheaply made like some others and it looks modern. I am very happy with this, it is the best gazebo that I bought so far. I was able to put led outdoor lights around the frame to light it and used zip ties without it interfering with the netting. The sun shade is also well made and is perfect for privacy and sun. see less
