I have had this panini maker for several weeks now and it heats up quickly and is very easy to clean. What would be nice is detachable plates but I guess you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested. Size is big enough for two regular andwiches at once. Appliance overall size is a bit larger than a regular toaster if the toaster is layed on its side and is light weight. see less

I decided to buy this panini maker because of its affordable price and its versatility. I liked that it doubled as both a panini maker and a grill. I use it pretty much every day. I've made sandwiches, hot dogs, and grilled chicken on this machine and it has not failed to impress! Heats up quickly, cooks food quickly, and is extremely easy to clean! I highly recommend this panini maker/grill to anyone shopping around for one. see less

I use this appliance as an open-faced grill rather than a pannini press to grill salmon, mahi mahi, etc... as I love healthy grilled food. Cooking the meat one side at a time allows it to remain juicy and tender on the inside. It works just as well as an outdoor gas grill. I was shocked at how good my food turned out. All in all its a great product that I use nearly every day to cook my meals. see less

We registered for this simply because we were running out of things to register for and it looked neat! :) We did receive it for our wedding, and decided to host a family gathering and have a "make your own panini" lunch. The light turned green once it was preheated, we put the sandwiches in, which turned the light red, and the light turned green again once it was done. We made over 30 paninis that day and each one cooked perfectly! Everyone had at least two and I still hear about how great they were when we see our family. We have continued to use it every so often (we've had it two months), and have had no problems. I do wish the plates were removable, but it's not difficult to clean anyway. We love this and would recommend it to anyone. I plan on giving a couple as Christmas presents this year. see less

I make the best paninis in the world with this little gadget. I used to spend a lot of money going to Panera Bread Company and I just cave in and got my own Panini Maker. Getting this was the best decision that I made in a long time. I am so in love with this machine. see less

This has all the features I was looking for at a very reasonable price. It has better features than more expensive paninis; removable dishwasher safe grill plates, drip pan and tilting top. It also opens up to use as a grill. It's small so it's easy to store. Not large enough for a family, but for 1 or 2 it's perfect. see less

This sandwich maker makes the most scrumptious sandwiches. I absolutely adore it. The only problems are that a. it should put hello kitty on the sandwich, that would be way cooler and b. it does not work well with thick breads. I have made grilled cheese, panini, veggie sandwiches, and etc with this device. They are amazing! A+ all the way. see less

It works like other similar sandwich makers. I find is easy to wipe clean. I use regular sandwich bread. I make grilled cheese, pizza pockets, and other combinations I can come up with. I like the fact that it does not imprint hk on the bread like the toaster. I like the bread evenly toasted. see less
