It def. is a nice looking truck/great details, and I feel better buying well-made toys so I don't worry about toxic paint, etc. However, I did expect a little more from this company. It's plastic, no biggie, but thought it would be a higher quality/thicker plastic if that makes any sense.It's not flimsy, but its not Tonka truck quality either.It's nice and big, the ladder really reaches up a good 2 feet,a nd the working hose of course is fun for any kid!The lights and sounds are cool and not too loud which was good for the parents, the wheels are made of a light weight rubber. My neighbor bought another firetruck for my son from [tru] that is not as big, but almost equal in quality and functions (minus the rubber wheels), and only spent [$]! The only thing that I was really disappointed in, is that Bruder didn't make functioning doors! see less

This fire engine was bigger than I thought it would be and soooo cool! Plays a dramatic rescue song with lights & sounds. Goes forward & back with push of a button on side, shakes when starts up. Way cool. My 'active' 3YO has not destroyed it and we've had it for 6 months. Still plays with it regularly. see less

We gave this to our son for his 2nd birthday and he absolutely loves it. He quickly figured out how to use all the buttons and he can't get enough of the lights and sounds. It's one of the few toys that works as well on plush carpet as it does on hardwood flooring. The fire engine moves forward and backward with ease at the push of a button. The volume is a bit loud for me, but he's having a great time playing with it every day. see less

I thought this whole wifi through the airwaves magic press a button and lights go on thing was going to promise more than it could deliver, but the device was cheap enough - and I didn't have to leave my house to get it - so I figured it was worth a shot.I'm so glad I did. This unit provides a robust signal. It can be accessed from far away and even through the walls. It's totally terrific and worth the price. I highly recommend this product. see less

Do not plug into items with motors. Motors vary in amperage when they first turn on. This is for lighting and small appliances only. If you read the directions, then this item will do great for your lamps or seasonal lights. works great for my Christmas tree. Not the average person will know about remotes. I have over 15 yrs in the lighting business to know better. Shame that Retail Stores in general don't have knowledge people selling these items. see less

[...] You think this thing will perform well for [that amount] when a "GOOD" remote costs [a lot more]??? That is EXACTLY what I thought, until I tried it. BEST INVESTMENT I HAVE EVER MADE. Programming was easy, the controls MAKE SENSE with their positioning. I have a home theater system, with DVD, BlueRay (two units), receiver, and TV. While it did not have codes for my new BluRay and Receiver (they are new products), the learning function was easy as pie and worked every single time. I do love that it has an INPUT button. And backlight function is smart too. You can CHOOSE whether you want it on or off to save battery life. My ONLY complaint.... is the buttons for the Up Down Left Right Center are a bit hard to push. Just a bit. And sometimes, rarely, annoying. But this is a small price to pay for the value of this remote. OH, and one other thing, I had to program my BluRay under VCR because it has nothing labeled bluray. lol. Yea, I am struggling to find things wrong with it.But ya know what, I am on this website right now about to buy another one for the bedroom. [...] see less

There are so many Remotes out there I can't begin to know what is best but as an Ex [.....] employee I can tell you that I can not believe for $$$ how great this remote is.It is so lite and learns EVERTHING with ease. I bought this because I lost the remote to my DVD player. I got it in pink, they had a bunch of different colors (I think also red and blue but maybe more?). Anyway I had no idea how to set up one of these things and it was so easy -- it comes with a booklet of codes, and you just have to find the one for your make and model, very easy, took about 30 seconds to set it up and it works great. I bought this universal remote to replace a broken remote control I had for an old 19" [***] TV. My old remote had nearly the same amount of buttons and features, so this universal remote was a perfect replacement with a great price. And surprisingly the remote worked with my TV as soon as I put in the batteries! I didn't even have to program it (though, this may not be true for everyone). Because this was a "universal" remote, I decided to connect my DVD player from my [electronic game system] to it too. Though after playing around with the remote, I realized that it's very cumbersome to use with DVD players. Some buttons on the remote have two commands and you need to press "shift" to get to the secondary commands. As a previous reviewer mentioned, you'd have to press twice the amount of buttons to do the same thing your DVD remote can do: "shift" "right arrow" "shift" "right arrow" "shift" "right arrow" "shift" "ok". If you're looking for a cheap way to replace a lost or broken remote for a TV, this may be a good fit, but if you're looking for a universal remote, look for one that has more buttons/features or else you'll get what you paid for. see less

This remote was very easy to program and will do anything that the remote that came with my old Sylvania TV would do. It has large buttons and the backlit feature is handy as well. I'm very pleased with it. It seems to be a nice remote for the price. see less

At first the remote seemed to be a very good value but then it just stopped working. It would need to be reset about once a month.Then one morning, it just stopped working altogether and would not allow a reset to take place. Do yourself a favor and pay more for a better, more durable remote. This one lasted only 3 months. Very unfortunate. see less

works with almost all sony blu ray disc players. I went trough so much hassle trying to replace the blu ray disc remote that came with the sony blu-ray dvd player, when i contacted sony. But luckily after trying two other remotes from Target I found this one. It is absolutely perfect. Now i have one remote that controlls my cable, tv commands and also my sony blu-ray disc player. I highly recommend it. see less

Even though it has a channel up/down button, this remote will not change TV channels. This is conveniently not mentioned on the box. I returned this the next day and purchased another brand that controls both the TV and XBox. see less
