We purchased this tent after buying the Elite Weathermaster Screen tent 3 years ago because we wanted more inside room. We are spoiled by the hinged door and self rolling windows. We weatherproofed the tent before our 10-day camping trip and it rained at least 5 of those days. There was never a drop inside! The light worked perfectly, just read the directions that state only twist it 1/4 turn. We had 2 queen size mattresses inside and there was still plenty of room for bags and 3-4 girls playing inside. We would recommend this tent to anyone, we love it! see less

I agree with everything the previous poster wrote about the center height and lack of room inside. I was disappointed given the price and the picture. Additionally, I would have preferred more windows. see less

We tried several times to get the interior dome light to work, but it never did. The switch did glow to let you know the switch was indeed working though. The head height is only in center of tent, and it lowers quickly. I'm 5'-9" and my head hit the covered door fly every time I went into the tent, kept forgetting to duck. The guy ropes are numerous, making the area around the tent a dangerous trip hazard for children, as they are all around. A diagram on the box, I believe, shows it fits 2 queen size beds comfortably, with a lot of room left over, but it is not true, as one matress fills up 7' width perfectly, with no additional room at head or foot of bed. We did endure a shower of rain, and there was no leaking anywhere, so this was good. I think we will revert back to our older dome tent on our future camping trips, as we were a little cramped in this one. see less

My Husband and I are seasoned campers. We like to have space to move around, and we have been wanting this tent for a while. We recently took it out for our first trip to South Haven, Michigan. It was easy to set up. Before we left, we did a practice run and it took us about 15 minutes to set up. When we got to Michigan, it took about 10 minutes. We use tarps and it did rain a bit, but we stayed dry the whole time. The only thing I would recommend would be to get extra stakes that are a bit more heavy duty than the ones that come with the tent. We love our new tent and would recommend it to anyone looking for more room, where you can be tall and stand up perfectly straight without smacking your head on anything. Thank you! see less

Bought this tent to replace old canvas cabin tent. Was a little worried the size wouldn't be what they say it is. It is big and roomy and accually comes with a nice room divider. First time set up alone took 15 minutes. Put 3 queen air mattresses in it and had room to move around them. Haven't had rain yet but got windy lastnight and she held strong. 6 windows gives choose ventilation and the 2 hinged doors are nice no constant zipping . With kids it saves you money! see less

Wife and I, retired, wanted something comfortable and this met our needs. Also easy to set up, one person can do.it. However, a practice session is necessary because set up instructions are p-ss poor. Putting on the rain fly is not an option. The stakes attach to it and provide overall stability to the structure. Screen door got compliments from other campers. Tent has a lot of little features built in, such as a small zippered hole to run in an extension cord. We had two cots set up and a six-foot table. Weathered a rainstorm without a drop inside the tent and stayed cozy. I would recommend more robust stakes. I also noticed the tent stayed cooler than most other tents on hot days, probably because of the large window area and the mesh roof. see less

I used this tent for the first time this past week for a six-night camping trip. There were two pretty large storms which came through and the inside of the tent remained perfectly dry. I had even goofed when placing my tent so that there was an area of ground underneath which could collect water. Not a drop made it through the waterproof bottom--in fact I moved over to sleep on top of the water for a bit more cushion... Still no leakage. The only drawback was that the archway pole cracked somehow during the trip--only noticed when I packed up. It would have still been usable though. However, I called Coleman's customer service this morning, and the woman was extremely helpful and responsive, sending me a repair kit without hesitation. see less

My husband and I just spend the rest of our wedding money on camping stuff at Target. We got this tent and we set it up in our family room at first to see how hard it was going to be to set up. It was so easy. Lots of room and holds up really well. We will probably only use it in the summer time, so hopefully we won't have to extreme of weather. This tent is perfect for a family of four with room for bags and gear. My husband is 6foot 3inches and could lay down and strech out just fine. This was our first time camping as a family, and it was easy to set up around 20 minutes. We had a severe thunderstorm that lasted throughout the entire night. I was nervous because we did not put seam sealer, but we did put a ground tarp under the tent. The tent did not leak at all and we all woke up dry! I could not be happier. see less

First time out last year we were caught in heavy thunderstorms and stayed totally dry. This past month we were caught in 80 mph straight-line winds, with heavy rain and hail, that nearly flattened our campsite, but had no visible effect on our tent! Phenomenal value! see less

Bought this tent and used it for the 1st time last weekend camping. Overall I love this tent. Super easy to set-up. It was very hot so we didn't put on the rain fly, and it was awesome! The top of the tent and back side are majority mesh so we had a clear view of the stars all night long!! With the windows open as well we got a nice breeze through. The only downside to the tent is the door. I am used to a large D-type door, and this door is only half the size. Inconvenient when trying to shove a queen air mattress through, or carry larger totes. see less
