I have 2 of these trays for our Bumbos. They work great if they are put on correctly otherwise baby can just pull the tray off. The trick is to put the top part on then lift the bottom of the Bumbo slightly to hook the tray under. We used these when our boys could sit up but stopped using them when they became too wiggly. Trays were great to use for food or for playing. see less

We got 2 of these, one for each car. It works great in my husbands [...] truck but not at all in my [...]. It was easy to install in his truck because the seat had a headrest it could attach to but my middle seat does not have a head rest. Since it is recommended to install car seats in the middle of the back seat when possible, that is what we did, but there is no head rest to attach the mirror to in my car. They do give instructions for how to use it when there is no headrest, but they were complicated and when I was manipulating it to try to get it to work, the mirror cracked down the middle. By the way, the mirror is actually just a reflective plastic, not a real mirror. Bottom line - works in some cars, not in all. Be careful with the packaging when opening so you can return if necessary. see less

I purchased a Bumbo for my daughter almost two years ago. It's been something I tell every expectant or new mom about. This eliminated so much frustration, mine and my little one's. It helps the baby sit upright before they can do so on their own. I could put it in the laundry room, or kitchen, etc. while I was working/chores/etc. she could watch everything I did and coo appreciatively instead of just being stuck on her back or on her tummy. What a life saver! It helped her feel more involved in everything that was going on. We are expecting again in a few months and this is the first item on my registry! see less

This was really easy to assemble. It's lightweight and was something I put together in less than 15 minutes during my third trimester. The insert is easy to remove and wash. Most important, my baby has slept well in it from her first night home from the hospital forward. She's 3 months as I write this. I bought this item because I thought it would be convenient and all the reviews I read were positive. Little did my husband and I know that it would be a life saver. Our daughter has acid reflux and as we got ready to come home the nurse asked if we had a way to allow the baby to sleep elevated. We were both so grateful we had purchased this item. She sleeps so well in it and the angle of the seat helps keep her from "spitting-up" more than necessary and gives us the peace of mind to sleep better knowing she is less likely to choke if she does reflux. This base works great! It is actually better than the base that came with my Snugride 30 travel system! I have a Ford Edge and the base that came with my carseat would not fit in the middle seat. We purchased this as an extra base but after realizing it fit in the middle seat of our car and wouldn't wiggle at all, even less than the original, I took it for my car!! It actually seems much safer than the original base in my case since my little one can now be in the middle! The extra feature that locks the seatbelt down is great! see less

Just make sure you put A LOT of downward pressure when installing any car seat. I weigh over 200 pounds and I sit on it to get it as snug as possible when installing the base to ensure it is a snug fit, so my little peanut stays put. This is not unique to this car seat it goes for all of them, but I just wanted to do my own little PSA. see less

This base is easy to use and almost no installation. It is relatively cheap for a base not as part of a travel system. You can adjust the angle of baby in the car seat so smaller baby can be in a more reclined position. We had to return it because we got the same one as a present so we did not need two. But it is great. see less
