We were skeptical at first that this tent wouldn't stay in place or would be difficult to set up. We were very pleasantly surprised! My 10 year old and I put this up within 2 minutes every day on vacation last week. The side bags filled with sand held the tent in place no matter what direction the tent faced (front wind, side wind, rear wind). Kids loved having a place to get away from the blazing sun and I liked having a place to keep the beach bag out of the sand/sun.I highly recommend! see less

The Coleman 12 x 10 Hex Instant Screened Shelter that I bought from Target Online was the best price and it arrived very quickly. I've bough several different screen tents over the years and this one by far is the best. I love it. It just looks cool. Goes up and comes down quickly and easy. The frame is so strong & sturdy. Because of its ease & sturdiness, I can take it down every time I use it and don't have to stake it down. see less

I was looking for a simple solution to protect us and our outdoor furniture from some natural hazards when sitting on our deck in the summer and this screen tent did the trick. It arrived on our doorstep in a convenient wheeled carrying case that will be helpful when we store the tent in the winter. Instructions were sewn into the case so we can't lose them. The umbrella-like frame came in one piece and was easy to stretch out but you do need at least two people to assemble unless you're able to anchor one leg against something sturdy. The top canvas fits nicely over the legs and the outside screen wrapped around easily but snuggly to keep out the bugs. Leg height is adjustable so we were able to fit the tent under an existing arbor. The picture might lead you to believe there is a pole in the middle but the dark line is a zipper. There's a zipper in the front and back, which is very convenient. Overall we're very happy and the price was terrific for the quality and convenience. Definitely a good buy. see less

Used it for camping. Opened it up, staked it down and popped it up in a matter of a couple minutes. Came down and packed up just as easily. Lightweight compared to other popular pop-ups. Had no problem withstanding 15mph winds coming off of Lake Michigan. see less

We have had our shelter for 2 summers now and we love it. The poles are very sturdy and takes one (no exagerration) minute to put together. We couldn't be more thrilled with our "gazebo". Need to put it away when storms come as it is not industrial strength but it takes one minute to take down. We like the fact that it has no bottom so it breathes. We have purchased about 8 different shelters with steep prices and lame metal poles that can't stand up to any kind of strong breeze. This one has much stronger poles and it is by far our all time favorite for entertaining in the backyard while protected from bugs. Highly recommend!!!!! see less

I just bought this screen tent on sale for $XXXX at Big 5 (7/10/11). I was interested to find out if I could put it up by myself since I stay home with my 4 children and will be taking this to the park. I didn't even read the directions. I took it out of the bag, laid it out on the ground, unfolded the legs, then went around to each leg and extended it until it clicked into place. In less than one minute, it was fully assembled by just me. This tent is huge, four adults could easily stand upright inside and a few more could sit in there at the same time. I bought this to take on a beach vacation as well as use at local parks and I will definitely get my money's worth. With the steel bars, I don't know how you could possibly break them, that was a major selling feature because the others have the easily breakable plastic piping. Now, lets see if I can get it packed down small enough to fit back into it's original bag... see less

After researching shelters, I thought this would be perfect for our needs at the beach - mostly for our grandchildren. Unfortunately, I returned a much cheaper shelter (and bought this one instead) that would have been fine. I saw many of the cheaper versions on the beach withstanding wind and weather. This one was very heavy and difficult to put up and down without 3 or 4 people to help. see less
