I bought these to string around a hose line cover that climbs up a wall in my back yard. It's a great cover at night. The lights are working great. They last a good six to eight hours and come as soon as the sun starts to set. You do need to remember to switch the button on in back of the solar panel, but otherwise, very easy to work with and so far I am very happy with them. see less

50 ct. is ridiculously short. It looks silly and I have to buy another strand. I wonder why they'd even make a string that short. Also, "cool white" doesn't mean "pure white" like I assumed. They don't look like the "cool white" Christmas lights. They are straight-up BLUE. I still love them, though. see less

Hung them up on Thanksgiving. Still going strong. No cords to run, no outlets to worry about. Have them on my porch railings and they look very nice. A little pricey though. But they turn on around 5pm and I have been up at 1 am and they are still on! But if it is cloudy, they don't stay on as long. It is important to make sure the solar panel faces south or southeast for maxium charge. Will buy more next year. see less

I bought two of these and ... see more

I bought two of these and have six more on a rain check for the deck. One out of the two didnt work, so brought it back right away. Ive found that no matter when you buy your solar lights, take them out of the package right away and put them out in the sun, to make sure they work. This is a lot easier than waiting until another season and then be stuck with a money loss. I like the one that is working and its very bright, so I am going to take the risk, and pick up six more. I will leave more feedback for follow-up. see less

My husband and I purchased 3 of these solar lights for our new deck. Within a month, all 3 of the lights went stopped working during the middle of the summer when there was plenty of solar light. We are highly disappointed with this product, and definitely would not recommend these to any other consumer. see less

I installed two strings a ... see more

I installed two strings along our deck over a month ago. We were impressed with the amount of light they give off - makes sitting on a deck at night a joy...not too dark, not too bright. Upon the initial install, I read that you need to turn them 'on' in order to charge AND that they should be charged for a full 12 hours before their first use. Since I work overnights, I simply waited to turn them on once I got home from work. I was able to tell they were turned on, simply because they did illuminate for about 30 minutes before the sun hit the solar panel. I read reviews from others who said they had difficulties...but if you make sure you remove the plastic from the battery, DO NOT TURN THEM 'ON' unless you have the ability to charge them for minimum 12 hours and make sure the solar panel is exposed for those 12 hours - you'll have no problems! see less

I purchased these last summer and have enjoyed them every night since then. The solar panel is on an extender, so amazingly stayed above the deep snow for most of the winter. We have them strung in a plum tree and the lights reflect on the blossoms in the spring and they seem to glow. The lights stay on all night until sunrise! I'm going to purchase another set this afternoon. Glad Target still sells them!(There is usually a protective film on the solar panel that must be removed and there is an "on" switch on the back of the panel that must be activated.) see less

So far I am very pleased with these Globe Sorar lights. The out put of the lighting is bright. One string was not enough. I just ordered 5 more strings. The lights add a nice warm glow to my yard. [...] I will need to order more for the effect that I want. see less

At first, I loved these lights. They are good and bright, and I loved that Target actually tells you how many lumens they are. The price was really good, too. Two problems. 1. I had to keep returning and switching out about one light per set because the connections was funny and it wouldn't light up unless the battery was wedged in just-so, and then you couldn't get the cover over it. 2. After a few months, the batteries wore out, which I was not expecting with a solar-powered product. see less

I like 'em. It's nice to be able to hang string lights when there's no electrical power source nearby! They don't charge very well on anything other than perfectly sunny days, but no surprise there. It would be nice if the set came with a couple of spare "sun" pieces, since I've already lost one, and I've only had them up a week. see less

I like the look of the lights even though they are very small. My main gripe with them is they use batteries up quickly. Even the rechargeable ones don't last but a nite or two. Cute, but I will not order any more. see less
