I love this item. It is sturdy enough to use as an extra seat or table. I use it as a table next to my sofa, it is great. I wish I would have purchased this long ago. Looks great, and is very sturdy. I agree with previous shopper, I also wish the hose connection was in the back as well. see less

After reading the previous review below of this product I was a bit hesitant to buy it, but I have seen this hose reel in the store previously and really liked the features. I bought it anyways. It took me no more than 15-20 minutes to attach it to the hose. It was not very difficult. The best part of this hose hideaway is the hidden tray under the lid that you can store accessories (it is very roomy; the tray is removable). I also like the fact that this is a taller unit than other hose hideaways which gives you a good arm support when winding up the hose. It is a very sturdy piece so far. The only thing that I wish the company would have done differently is the location of the hose coming out of the unit. It is on the side but I wish it could have been on the back so it can really be a "hideaway" hose container. I do not like how the hose shows on the side. But overall this is one of the best units out there to hide the hose, other accessories, and the architectural styling too! [...] see less

I bought this because it looked very pleasing and did not look like a hose storage container. Since it was going to be in an area that was noticeable by many, I didn't want the standard hose reel. This works wonderfully. I don't have any trouble with the hose getting put away or getting it out. I actually have two hoses attached because of the size of our yard and they both fit nicely inside. It works perfectly for what I wanted. It's definitely worth the money. I actually want another for the other side of my house now. see less

Do not let the nice appearance to fool you. The material is very thin. It almost felt like if it was going to break while I was rolling the hose. It does not have the capacity it claims, I have a 100 ft hose and it barely fits inside the box. It does not roll or un-roll the hose properly and the hose always gets stuck. I used it several times and the last time I used it it took me about 30 minutes to unroll the garden hose. see less
