This lamp was not what I expected it to be, it was much better!! I like it alot and definitely might consider getting another one for the bedroom. It looks really good on my entry way table which is black but this lamp you can't really tell that it is a dark brown color and it matches very well with the darker beige on the walls. see less

I bought 2 of these lamps - one for each side of our bed. The assembly wasn't bad. Once I put in one of the metal rods, the rest were easy. They're a perfect size for a nightstand - not too big, yet the height of the lamp still enables space for tissues, books, even an 8x10 picture under the lampshade! The lamps really finish our bedroom nicely. see less

This is a wonderful lamp for my living room. It is a medium sized lamp (smaller than many living room lamps) and fits perfectly where I need it. The color is a bit more reddish than I expected, but still fine. The lampshade was a bit tricky to set up, until I realized I had to bend the rods a bit to insert them then straighten them once all were inserted to achieve a balanced "bell" shape. This lamp is cool, it has a nice style to it, the pull chain to turn it off and on is sturdy it's simple to assemble,a nice looking lamp, it is just a tad more dim than I had thought it would be,but that's probably because the shade is black, if you want a little more light, you might want to think about going with the white shaded one or a lighter shade instead of black, the shipping was quick, the price was affordable, it is a perfect lamp for me, it won't get messed or played with so it should last long, the shape of it is cool too, you really can't go wrong with this purchase! see less
