Needed an incentive to train him - nice potty, good characters and he is starting to sit on it - there is hope... see less

I had high hopes for this potty since my son is an avid Toy Story fan. He was very excited about his favorite characters being on the potty and he loved the flush feature that cheers for him. My big problem with the potty is that the pieces all come apart too easily. My son is constantly taking the potty apart. The "seat" which is removable to allow for placement on your toilet seat, comes off very easily and doesn't really snap into place on the potty. So my 2 year old can easily lift the seat off the potty, take out the potty container and pull the flushing handle off the potty itself. I also don't like the separate piece that the kids sit on. It is foam and, I'm sure, is meant to be comfortable to sit on, but it is not attached to the seat and slides around when my son sits down. If they had made this potty a little harder to disassemble, I would love it. As it is, I'm constantly having to put it back together whenever we try to use it. see less

The frontal guard is too ... see more

The frontal guard is too small and is built into the cushion. When my son used this for the first and last time he shot over the top and also under the cushion causing the it to miss the catch bowl entirely and spill all over the floor. This is a design issue and not a normal potty issue. Do not recommend for boys see less
