Living alone, this was difficult to carry around. The box was very heavy.
From the time I opened the box, until the time it was all assembled, and all of the trash and packaging were either put away or thrown out, and my TV was standing on top of the thing was about 4 hours, WAY longer than I anticipated.
Now, I partially blame the long time on constantly being distracted by the movies I had on the TV, to give me some background noise, so you can probably do it more quickly than I did!
That being said, the instructions are great. Every piece of furniture is labeled with a letter, and every screw and other hardware is labeled with a number, making it very easy to figure out what goes where. Clever use of screw holes make it nearly impossible to attach anything backwards
While it may have taken a long time, it was well worth it. This piece is solid, and exudes a feeling of quality. It holds my almost 100lb 60" Plasma with ease, and it looks good too!

Perfect flat panel stand if you don't want to mount to a wall
The instructions were easy to follow and the unit was quite easy to assemble. All the pre-drilled holes were offset making it almost impossible to put it together incorrectly. I have a 55" LED TV and it fits perfectly. Quality of components is very good and there were zero missing parts or components. I expect to enjoy this stand with my TV for years to come.
I will say my husband worked multiple hours on assembling this TV stand, but now that it is in operation, it's great! [...] but after all that, it is a very nice addition to our TV room. Also the day we bought it, my husband applied for a Target Red Card, plus the item was on sale, so we got it for cheaper which made me happy. Recommended!!
This TV Stand deserves another 5 out of 5 stars!
This is a beautiful 3-in-1 stand, well built, sturdy and looks great! I especially like the heavy black glass shelves. They are NOT transparent and give it a very luxurious look.
You really can't go wrong with the easy to follow instructions and the parts packaging and labeling.
A GREAT PRODUCT FROM Z-LINE!!!
I bought this because it was on sale and fit the dimensions I needed.
After opening the box I was surprised to see all the hardware was
labeled for easy identification. I was concerned there wouldn't
be the right size bolts to fit my 46in. flat screen tv. No need to worry.
There were several different size bolts and washers to choose from.
Assembly took about an hour and a half. I have to say this is a
very well made product with easy assembly instructions. It looks very nice with the tv attached and have had several compliments on it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a tv stand.
Sturdy craftsmanship, nice design, breeze to put together. Assembly is a little time consuming, but worth it for the stability. Loved the organization of the small assembly parts and clarity of instructions. Several options for mounting is a plus. This is a solid piece of furniture, especially for the price. And it looks fabulous! We're quite pleased.
I made the mistake of buying this one based on the customer reviews and most common purchases, but it DOES NOT work with the Lifetime backboards that they are selling on this site. If you get a Lifetime backboard, get the Lifetime mounting hardware.
Nice range of motion--horizontal arc, foreword angle, TV rotation.
Firm on the wall--three huge lag bolts that go into a wall stud, which you should be able to hit given range of motion.
Main drawback--despite beefy looking arms and hinges, the thing is just not solid enough to maintain full lateral motion in a plane. In other words, when extended to the left or right, the extended arm just plain bends down to the enough so your TV looks skewed, and you have to adjust the rotation angle of your TV to make it level again by loosening a screw on the back of the mount and adjusting the TV angle and tightening the screw. Not hard--if you keep a screwdriver next to your TV. If you want to mount, adjust, and don't touch it again, this device will do fine. If you want to keep it flush against the wall on off hours, and extend only when viewing, it is way overpriced.
Tested with 40" Westinghouse LED
Now looking for a double arm mount with more vertical stability.
