Bought this for my 4 year old grandson . We have done many of the cooking play doh sets together and found them fun, easy to work with, but not this one. The cheese grater is difficult to work, and the pizza comes out small and thick. All in all I wish I had bought the dentist play doh instead. see less

My son is 4 years old and tall for his age. He loves to draw and paint so for Christmas we decided to get him an easel. All of the other kid easels were a lot shorter than this one and made of plastic. What I love about the Melissa and Doug easel is that the height can be adjusted for growing kids. It's also wood so it's not little kidish. The dry erase board is great! The chalkboard doesn't work as well, but he doesn't seem to mind. I love that it holds the roll of paper in the center and has clips that attach the paper to the easel for drawing or painting. If you buy this easel you won't be disappointed! You should buy the Melissa and Doug easel accessory kit to go with it. The kit comes with the paint brushes, no spill paint cups,which the easel has designated spots for,chalk, dry erase marker and eraser. I see him getting many years out of this easel! see less

This toy was supposed to be a replacement for another brand, until my 4 year old cut his hand on the sharp edges and bled. It is made of very cheap plastic and the written area "font color" is very pale compared to the other brand. I'm returning the product immediately. This is something I expect to find at a dollar store...not Target. see less

This easel is used by my 4 year old daughter. She is tall for her age and this height on the easel is great. The pale pink is a nice color. I like that it is 2 sided. She loves using this easel to draw and practice letter writing as well as painting. The magnetic letters and numbers made of foam were not quality and did not have enough. They need to triple the letters and numbers so when you are doing math or spelling a name, you will have all that you need. see less

We bought this from Target.com and gave it to our 2/12 year old for Christmas. It was very easy to put together, only took my husband 15-20 minutes. This is a great little desk & easel and I love that it has a stool. Has plenty of storage for coloring books, crayons, and markers. Our daughter loves it!! I bought it based on the other customer reviews and the price. There were cheaper easels out there, but I think this was the best item & the best price. I would recommend this Step 2 Flip & Doodle easel desk to anyone who is looking for an art desk for their toddler. see less

As a homeschool mom, I'm always on the lookout for items that can be used time and time again, in new and creative ways, and this writing, drawing and playing easel from Step 2 is perfect! Now, with the two sides both available for play, a big and little brother can both have a "piece" of Easel. very sturdy. The Easel is simple to clean, with smooth plastic and storage bins that come off to clean as well. It is lightweight and can be moved from one room to another for use easily. if you get playdoh and find that some of it is harder to mold than others:1) knead for approximately 4 mins.2) make a mixture of 1 part veggie oil and 1 part water3) place playdoh back into container4) push the playdoh all of the way down into the conatainer5) make 3 little ravines in the playdoh with your fingers6) pour about 1 t. of the oil and water mix into the container with the play doh7) DO NOT mold the oil+ water in with the playdoh8) let sit for about 30 hours in a 65-80 degree climate9) after 30 or so hours it should be soft, squishy and ready to play withtrust me people-- this actually works. my sibling bought this playdoh the other day and wasnt satisfied with it's squishiness. i experimented with it and found that this was the best way to modify playdoh to your advantage. everyone always adds water to their playdoh if it dried out a bit, but the water just evaporates right back out of it. the oil stays in for longer periods of time, ensuring that the playdoh will remain squishier for longer. it is still good to add 14-16 drops of water about every three to five days because of the high salt content in the playdoh. see less

I bought this house for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves to color and I knew she'd like this but I had no idea how much! It was the first "toy" that she went to and she is still playing with it to this day. When people asked her what she got for Christmas, it was the first thing she mentioned. Funny, because this was just supposed to be one of those "filler" presents. Before purchasing it, I was concerned about how durable it was going to be and now I'm afraid I'll never get it out of my living room...lol. My one year old son and her crowd inside with all their toys and, in my opinion, play very rough with it and it's still standing. Well worth the money! Sure beats playing in a refrigerator box like I did when I was a kid! see less

We love our Step2 Build & Store Block & Activity Table! The table can be used as a little desk, craft table, Lego table, and more and for the price we think it is a great bargain! We have been testing the table for about a month and are thrilled to say it definitely holds up to a four year old banging toys on it, building elaborate zoos on it, creating imaginary worlds on it, as well as using it as a writing and coloring table. The table top is definitely large enough for two kids to play comfortably and there are removable building block base plates. We love that there are four cups that can be used to hold crayons, pencils, pens, craft supplies, etc. There are also four small bins that can be used to store Legos, cars, craft supplies, animals (if your little one likes to set up animals as much my little guy does), or anything else you can think of. At first I was surprised the bins were smaller than I thought they would be, but they are a great size for keeping small toys organized and off the floor. I have enjoyed watching my son switch out what he wants on the table and in the bins almost daily. Sometimes crafts, sometimes all blocks and cars, sometimes all animals...but whatever he is using it for, it seems to do the trick and keep him entertained and happy. *I received a Build & Store Block Activity table to review, but no other form of compensation was provided and all opinions expressed are my own. see less
