So I took a risk, this has mixed review of good and bad so I figured for less than 25 dollars I could try it out.
I LOVE IT! You have to sit still and move the monitor around to really find the heartbeat which isn't hospital quality....come on..it's [...]... but you can hear it! You can hear little kicks at the same time as feeling them too! To be able to share this with my husband, family and friends is priceless!
It is super sensitive to moving around on your belly so you just have to try and be still. It's worth it!
The Graco Prenatal Listener works great and is a lot of fun to be able to listen to sounds of your unborn baby. I recommend using the product as described in the manual it comes with. In early pregnancy, you may not be able to hear your baby's heartbeat right away, but it's neat to hear the sounds in your womb. I find it funny when my baby kicks the listener when she feels it on my belly and love that you can record those sounds with the computer cable that's included. This product is a great price and I really love it. What a cool concept!
Even after reading all the negative reviews, I decided to take a risk and order this product anyway. I must say, I was very pleasantly surprised with how easy it is to use and how well it actually works. I tested it with my kids who are ages 3 & 4, listening to all our heartbeats, which we found right away. The baby's heartbeat was not as easy to find, but we did find it. I'm only 20 weeks along, and I assume his heartbeat will become easier to find as my pregnancy progresses, since this product is recommended more for late 2nd trimester and throughout the 3rd.
