I purchased the 5 shelf and 3 shelf bookcases over a year ago. I found them easy to assemble but found it a little easier to have an extra set of hands. I have had other ready to assemble furniture but these are sturdier that those other pieces. I also find the details on them make them appear as a more expensive piece of furniture. I have moved them a couple of times and they have stayed together without needing any repair. They are sturdy and found them steady on carpet of tile floor. I read reviews of these and another couple other thermal curtains and found mixed feedback. I ultimately chose these because they were the right size, color and price, hoping they would do the job. From being in the package, they were obviously folded and creased, but I washed them right away and they tumble dried fine and hang beautifully. The best part is, they block the light so well that my 3 year old daughter doesn't ask anymore why she has to go to bed when it's light out--we live in Alaska. I love these curtains!! see less

The surface is smooth but not overly painted or varnished. The keyboard tray slides smoothly and hinges shut well. The quality is sturdy, much better than I expected. I put this together by myself the other morning.The bookcase is sturdy and well made, labeled very clearly, and the hardware was arranged in small packets according to direction's steps. Take your time. The only beef I had was with the locking pin and lock devices. You drop a circular lock into a hole and its corresponding bolt is tapped into its hole. HOwever, sometimes they dont jibe, because the lock's holes are drilled too deeply. I would highly recommend after step three to tap in the bolt, put the pieces in contact, and THEN insert the locking hoobyjiggy thingamabob. This way, you can turn it and make it surround the bolt instead of blindly trying to put the bolt into the lock. Other than that, it's great. Enjoy see less

I bought 2 of these and the TV stand with glass doors. I put a bookcase on each side of the TV stand and it makes my family room look so good. I bought the black my husband put all 3 pieces together in a couple hours. and he love it all. Great prices. The directions were clear and it took about a half an hour for me to put it together. It was packed well, so no damage. It was a cheap piece of furniture, so I think it is about worth what was paid. I wasn't looking for a shelf to last through time, just through childhood. I didn't expect hardwood. It is sturdy enough to hold books. Its biggest fault? On the carpet, it doesn't stand flat once books are loaded. It kinda sways forward so there is a bigger gap on the top then the bottom near the wall. I put a wall anchor in. Comes with one. and I feel better about it, but it still leans forward. I think my next step would be to put a little wedge of wood under the front of it. I dunno. I think if given the chance to repurchase, I would spend a little more to get a more stable one. see less

The package arrived two days earlier than the expected delivery date in my order confirmation. No missing pieces at all, but one did have some white missing on the edge and the inside particleboard was showing--about a 1-inch square section--but that portion wouldn't be visible unless you lie on the floor and look at the underside of the desk, so I didn't take issue with that. The desk was very simple to assemble by myself and probably took less than an hour to do so. I do wish I had reinforced the wooden dowels with wood glue as some parts were wobbly during assembly, but after the whole piece was put together it felt a lot more solid. Would I sit on it? No. But it does a great job as a desk--which is exactly what I wanted. After building was complete, I did notice a few gray marks on some corners but I'm not sure if they were already there or happened during the build. I recommend assembling the piece on a rug or carpet and move it later. Overall it's a great value! see less

I am not mechanically inclined at all and I put this together in about an hour as my husband and kids slept. This curtain I purchased in cream and have it in a bedroom with other cream linens. It is polyester so I have already washed and laundered it and came out fine. It is somewhat sheer so you can not use it for total privacy. I wanted something that filtered the light in the room so this is exactly what I wanted and since it is a basic neutral I am very happy. it does have a linen texture to it but the feel is polyester. So easier care. Very happy with purchase but did not give it more stars because it is very basic. No lining, polyester, etc. But for what I wanted it for I am very happy. see less

We've been looking for a well priced, stylish swivel bar stool for our breakfast bar for a few months now and I happened to check Targets website after searching on Craigslist and other department stores. I just put these together last night and I love these so much! I can't believe they're this high quality and beautiful while still being so cheap! They're very easy to put together, very sturdy, and very nice-looking. Of course, I haven't even had them up for 24 hours yet, but I can't find anything I don't like about these. The cushions are comfortable and very supportive. The legs and back are very sturdy as well. Some previous reviewers have mentioned that the legs are not all the same length-- I haven't noticed that at all, but I do have my chairs on carpet and not on a hard floor. It's possible to put these together by yourself, but it is a bit easier with two people. I very highly recommend these for anyone. see less

These stools look great at our kitchen island. It's nice that they're adjustable, but the lower height is perfect for us. The assembly for all 3 took about 1.5 hours. We looked on craigslist for about a month before giving up and getting these, which look very nice and are a better price than most of the things we saw on craigslist. I love the rich dark wood color. Assembly took a while, but I figured it out. Didn't need any tools aside of what was included, and it took about 30 minutes to assemble all four. Only issue is with the black footsies. They were hard to insert and they seem to pop out when I sit in the chair. I have very thick carpet so maybe that makes it a bit hard for them to find a foothold. I am currently registering for our wedding, and of course, sheets are on the list. Finally this morning I got the brains to check the tag on our current sheets - and they are these ones. I had seen these sheets online and written them off due to bad reviews. We have been sleeping on these sheets and these sheets only for over 2 years. We wash them weekly. We are not fancy sheet people. We want something comfortable that doesn't fall apart. These sheets are exactly that. You cant beat the price, and these are super comfortable and we have never had a problem with them. No lint. No problems with washer or dryer. They do wrinkle, but thats cause we cant put them straight on the bed from dryer, as we have to go elsewhere to do washing. But seriously! great sheets. The height of the back hits me, and many of my friends and family in a perfect spot. Great support. I bought the blue and green sets and felt the colors were well represented, at least on my computer. I did take into account some of the chipping comments, and gave them three coats of poly. This maybe took me an hour for six chairs, which includes taking the legs off to spray the seats. Even with having to buy the two cans of spray poly., these chairs were a steal. In a recent move, I bought these panels in brown, cream and white and some tension rods for EVERY window in my house including those long, thin, horizontal ones that are so hard to cover. I just hung a 63 in. panel sideways draped evenly over the tension rod and it fit perfectly. To temporarily cover french doors, I hung 84 in.brown panels from a tension rod in each door. I eventually replaced most of these with blinds, however, I liked the effect of the brown ones in my front picture windows so much that I kept those in place. I can see out clearly during the day with curtains closed, but others cannot see in! I packed away the curtains I replaced for the next family move. Love the versatility of these and received many compliments on these curtains when showing off the new house! see less

For a DYI project I say its fairly easy for 1 person to accomplish. The instructions...HA! You have to follow the rudimentary line drawings. Just make sure you set the proper length of wooden dpwls in the proper holes which was the biggest pain. It was not very descriptive regarding this step and could leave you taking it apart to remedy this. One assembled, it looks very nice and sturdy. It would be a tremendous relief of concern if you do anchor it to the wall with the hardware I did find included - Even if you do not have off-spring running around. see less

This is exactly as pictured! It is the perfect piece of furniture for m daughter's room, for her books and knick knacks. I bought many of the Avington pieces and they all match perfectly! My delivery came in the rain and had been sitting for hours in the rain, but everything was packed really nicely and with all the styrofoam, everything inside was dry! I've had experience assembling furniture like this, so I did not need the instructions, but overall, you don't need anything more than a Phillips head screwdriver...everything else came in the box. The pieces are real wood, except if a piece has a back piece, which is that MDF, but it is not too flimsy...as a matter of fact, once it's screwed on, it is very durable and really helps to hold everything together. For the price, the clock is quite good looking as shown. The case doesn't feel fragile and seems to be well protected against moisture. I need this because I put it in the bathroom but out of the shower. Having a sec hand is good to indicate that the clock is running. But the clock ticks. It's not suitable for the bedroom, nor en suite bathroom. There are no minute markings, so if you want to set the clock accurately, the best is to wait until noon. see less

Absolutely love this desk! I was hesitant to buy it because so many complained of having the desk arrive damaged but I pushed my luck. Came in perfect condition. The box wasn't even damaged surprisingly. You have to walk up at least 50 concrete steps before you even get to the front door. Good Job UPS! Other than that, the desk is beautiful. I was looking for a desk that had plenty of room to fit accomodate my macbook, a few open books and notebooks and this desk is exactly what I was looking for! more than enough surface space. I ordered this desk hoping it would not look too cheap. It is one of the lower priced desks out there that uses a drawer to hold the keyboard. When closed up it looks like a very clean, sleek piece of furniture, costing far more than what I actually paid. Simply attach four legs and a drawer knob and it is done! We needed something to bring our TV up a few more inches. At first we considered building a box to set the TV on, but it wasn't going to match our Avington furniture. While browsing the other Avington pieces online, I came across this hutch. We took measurements and headed to Target to buy this piece. It was easy to assemble, and took us about 20 minutes. Thanks to another reviewer we knew to be extra careful to make sure that the finished edges were facing outwards before tightening the cam locks. We are using this piece on top of our Avington media stand, even though it was made for the Avington desk. I didn't like the look of the small adjustable shelves, so we left them out and put small baskets in the cubbyholes instead. All together with an Avington bookshelf on each side it almost looks like one wall unit. We are so pleased with our purchase, and can now see the TV from any seat in the room. see less

Assembly. Is the best packaging I have seen in a long time. Everything was labeled clearly & was a quick assembly! Word of caution, the drawer assembly could be tricky make sure you test it SLOWLY tracks can scrape sides of the varnish or paint rather easily. Look. Have been shopping around for a desk for a while, long & deep enough that would hold books, papers, lamp & a laptop with enough room for other things as well. Can be versatile as entry table. Recommendations. Was looking for lighter shade of wood .oatmeal, caramel colored, etc. BUT! Because it's so sleek & stylish I actually LOVE this deep color a lot & wouldn't change it. First and foremost, I LOVE the appearance of these chairs! I feel like the pattern is modern and classy and they work perfectly for my tall eat-in kitchen table. My only complaint is that these chairs, after assembled which took about 1-2 hours for 4 of them, are a bit wobbly. All the correct parts were used and my husband put them together correctly, yet they are still a little shaky when you touch/move them. They have held everyone who's sat in them just fine, I would've just preferred them to be a bit more stable. see less

purchased one chair back in the fall as I wasn't sure it would be the right height, description on website not clear. I love putting stuff together but this chair made me want to throw it out the window. I had to call in help and together we managed to get the chair done. The screws were extremely difficult to "catch" in the groove. but once done the chair was perfect. I needed another chair and waited until target offered [...] shipping plus it went on [...]. I managed to get this chair together with no issues, however once done, it was not even. I stuck an extra felt floor protector to the botton of the leg that was shorter and it seemed to do the trick. I don't think the price matches the construciton of the chair. If I had paid [$] I probably would have just shrugged my shoulders and let it go, therefore I only gave it 4 stars. THE GOOD. Excellent picture quality for this class of TV. THE DECENT. The sound is decent. Small thin TVs usually get poor ratings in terms of the sound quality, but I feel that is unfair. When you have a TV as thin as a tablet computer, you can't expect sound much better than a tablet computer. While there is hardly any bass, and I wouldn't dare call it theater sound, the volume does get loud and you will not have any trouble hearing it. Most will use this TV for a bedroom or kitchen and it is sufficient for that. THE BAD. I had buggy problems with this TV. My setup had the TV hard-wired to cable television, though I was not using a cable box... I relied on the TV tuner to change channels. Unfortunately, my channels kept disappearing and I had to keep going through the channel scan process over and over... and it became very annoying. I ended up returning the TV. If using a cable/satellite box, this may not be an issue for you. see less

I tried writing a review on this TV before, but it was rejected, I think because of the expletives. So let me just say that this bleeping thing is a bleeping piece of bleep. I had read bad reviews of this brand, mostly about the sound quality. But I'm no audiophile, and I just wanted it for my bedroom, so I thought, "How bad could it be?" O. M. G. It's so indescribably bad. Here's an experiment - plug your headphones into your computer and turn the sound all the way up. Then walk across the room, getting as far from the headphones as possible. Hear that? THAT'S what the sound on this TV is like. I'm not kidding. It's inconceivable to me that anyone could approve this for the market. You can get ok sound by plugging in a pair of external speakers, but the picture quality is so sub-par that it's really not worth it. I stupidly threw all my packing materials away or else I'd have returned this the same day. So now I live with a daily reminder of my poor decision-making skills. Sigh. see less

I've had this table in my house for 2 years and it's worked very well. I put it together in one night, it wasn't that hard to put together. My kitchen is pretty small so the slide under stools are great. I've had to go around and tighten the screws twice. The stools have become wobbly and just recently the black panelling on the corners has started chipping, but for [$] I think it's a great buy. I'll probably buy another one soon. see less
