My daughter, age 8, has a mild muscle disorder so can't carry her own backpack well. She loves this backpack! Once she learned the trick of working the telescoping handle properly, it was easy to use. There is lots of room for fun stuff - we bought dolphin iron on patches to decorate it and make it personal. I ordered this for my 9 year old daughter. The style is nice, the design of the pack itself is good. The telescoping handle is very, very difficult to extend and somewhat difficult to retract. This is definately overpriced for an item that's main feature is the feature that does not work. see less

This is a great size - and by great, I mean large. It holds everything, rolls beautifully, good quality fabric. The issue is, after 1 month of using it, the zipper on one side broke. Then after 2 more months, the zipper doesn't work at all. Completely useless. see less

I have a 8 yr old school age child, who packs the bag with so much stuff, and I have gone through several in the past, and all of them broke with in the first 2 months of use, and I could see why, I only spent under twenty dollars at best, and I know adding a few extra dollars is worth it, and when this one arrived ( right on time) as well, February Vacation just started, and the old one she had been using the zipper broke, so after seeing this one, you can see the quality that went into the making of this back pack, the zippers are heavier, and the material is thicker, she has already gotten so many compliments on it, and the style is beautiful. We both love that design, which is the reason why I chose it, but the quality is why I recommend it. see less

My daughter begged for this backpack, but I wanted to make sure that it would last through the school year. I'm glad she chose it. There are plenty of different pockets and sections so that she can organize her materials. The straps are very well made and quite cushiony, so she should be comfortable carrying the bag. Overall, we are happy with the purchase. Hopefully we'll say the same at the end of the year! see less

I thought this was a great backpack for the price. It looked great when we first got it, but we barely made it through the school year. My daughter would sometimes have to take home a few heavy books, so the material tore in some places. The wheels also got a little messed up. We'll have to buy a new backpack for this school year. see less

We bought this backpack last school year for my daughtert! It was absolute adorable, the kitty on the front is fuzzy and the pink area is satin feeling. My daughter and her girl classmates loved it and gave her lots of complements. I had to shop at 4 different Targets to find it and it was totally worth the hunt. After being used for a year it still looks great, I had to hand wash it in the sink and it still looks almost brand new. Great backpack for a trendy girl! see less
