Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. The item looks just as pictured here. The style compliments the decor of my bedroom just fine. My gripes relate to the size and build quality. SIZE - Everything runs a little too small in my opinion. The pillow shams barely cover my queen-sized pillows But the shams are standard and not queen, so I give them a pass. The comforter barely covers my queen-sized mattress. I do not have a particularly deep mattress--no pillow top, no plushness at all. Just your basic queen mattress. I have a platform bed, so I like to tuck my comforter under the mattress. But with this comforter I have maybe an inch of material left to tuck. There is very little overhanging the mattress. I am afraid of what will happen when I wash and dry it. I suggest anyone with a queen bed buy the king-sized comforter. BUILD - The comforter is thin. It is not intended for warmth. Fine for Southern Cali, but be warned if you live somewhere with cold winters. see less

I know sometimes things can look a little different on a computer screen. Lighter, darker, etc..., but the picture is exactly how this item looks in person, except it's even BETTER LOOKING than the picture! This was shipped quickly and I could hardly wait to get it out of the box. The queen size quilt fits my queen size bed perfectly. The two shams are a great size, 20x26. The shams have the French Script on both sides, as does the quilt. The print on all three items is very clear. Looks great! This is NOT dry clean! I would highly recommend this item. I think if Target carried this in their stores, don't know why they don't, they would probably not be able to keep them on the shelves! Maybe that's why they don't carry them! If you're undecided about this item, GET IT. Worse case scenario, you don't like it. Return it. But, you won't! It's so pretty, I keep going in my bedroom and just looking! I like the coverlet and the design--both the script and the scalloped edges, but the King-sized coverlet comes with two, standard-sized pillow shams, and they look ridiculously small on a King-sized bed!! I am going to have to search for--or make some--grey King-sized shams and put those behind the very small ones sent in this set! I have never received regular sized shams in a King bed set before! see less

Target only allows reviews to be 1000 characters long so I have split mine into two reviews.- Part 1- What I wanted- I had been looking for a white comforter that was not a base comforter that would need a duvet cover because I have always found duvet covers to be so annoying. Everything I had found looked like it probably could act as its own comforter but was intended to be covered by a duvet. This comforter fit the bill perfectly. -How it looks- It looks elegant with it's white on white stripes. The stripes are actually many small stitches of a shinier white thread. When I was pulling it out of the packaging and saw and felt the striped part first I was a little nervous that it might seem cheap. Then I laid it all out across the bed and it came together so beautifully. I does not look cheap at all. I paired it with white on white striped sheets that stripe in the other direction and it looks like a luxury hotel bed. see less

I love the floral detail. I love the yellow on the flip side. The color is not white and black its more of a pale grey and black which I love. The pillow shams are definitely white though. I just redecorated my room and this comforter just pulled everything together for me. see less

As soon as I seen this on the website, I wanted it. The white, black lace detail, and the yellow combo look great together. You do have to purchase the sheets so I just purchased the blue sheets that are pictured. The comforter is comfortable not rough feeling, which I was hoping it wouldn't be. The 2 pillow shams do come with it. I'm happy overall with this set. This is an easy comforter set to mix and match accessories. Another thing, Target is amazing with their shipping! see less

I originally bought this item in the twin size for my sons bed. The fabric was soft and had a silky quality, the only downside being the ties in the corners to hold the duvet in were stitched rather poorly, but it was nothing too horrible that I couldn't fix it myself. I loved the feel of his so much, I decided to buy the same for my bed but in a queen size. I got the queen size home and opened the packaging and the fabric had a completely different texture and feel. It was rough and almost scratchy. Definitely not the same material or product. The only good thing was that the corner ties were much more sturdy. I don't understand why there is a difference in the materials used, but I would not suggest buying this item if it will be used in a bed that is frequently slept in... unless you appreciate the feeling of scratchy material next to your skin as you sleep. see less

I was really disappointed with this. I expected it to be thicker material, but in all reality it's basically two sheets sewn together with some buttons to close it off. I guess you get what you pay for, and the price was not that bad...but I honestly just could've bought a couple of cheap sheets and made a cover myself and had the same effect for an even cheaper price. It will do for now, but I don't see "for now" lasting too long. Pay the extra money for something better and don't waste it on this...or make your own. see less

package arrived way smaller than I expected, duvet thin and buttons up instead of zips revealing whatever cover you put inside. I could see some slight threads broken and stitching sticking out poor manufacturing. Though this bed set was really pretty, it seemed to be too much of a hassle to make work and definitely not worth the price so in the end had to return it. see less

I bought this comforter for my dorm room. It is a really nice comforter, very soft and cozy!! It is definitely great for a dorm room, all my friends were jealous because it was more of a 'real' bed comforter then what they had. It is also just the right thickness to be warm but not too hot! see less

Looking at the comments it appears a majority of people do not understand the concept of a DUVET cover. It is not a comforter to just throw in a washing machine. There is a button on the cover you unbutton to take off and wash. This is not a comforter which is why many of you are having trouble washing and drying. You wash the cover and leave the stuffing part out. see less

We bought this at the direction of our broker while staging our home for sale. The photographs of this duvet in linen color really showcased the room. The depth of the pulls in the fabric came out in the pictures and many people asked where we bought it. It is not something I'd typically select for myself, as the fabric is cotton and I typically buy dry cleanable bedspreads. I have not yet washed it, but the ability to wash it seems like a bonus instead of dry cleaning. see less

Very nice looking duvet cover for the price! It's not as soft as I would have liked, but a few more washes with fabric softener should help. I was worried about purchasing this when I saw others' issues with drying. I did not have this issue at all. Maybe my building's laundromat just has good intense dryers? I dried for 60 min on medium. see less

It is EXTREMELY difficult to find a king size comforter at this price point - which is why I ordered a second one to keep on ice. This is really worth the money. I bought this back in August 2012. It cleans great, no stains, and no rips. I was worried that the pleats would come undone, still looks new!! I bought the beige color. I wanted white but white is going to get dirty no matter what you do. The beige looks almost gold, I love it. It is incredably comfortable!!! I reccomend this product to anyone who is looking for a new bed spread!! see less

Over the last two years, I have tried probably a dozen duvet covers for my king bed from everywhere from Target to high end stores. I had settled on a much more expensive one, then happened to see this in Target a few weeks ago. This duvet cover has a clean and relaxed yet stylish look. What I've spent two years looking for! Personally, I like the twill bcz it keeps the duvet from having a cheapy feel and gives it heft but not heat. I have washed it twice but not ironed it. My daughter's nosebleed stains came out easily. To me ironing is counter to the look. Re the pattern, solids make a king bed look too big and most patterns dominate the room when it comes to a king bed. This is a perfect blend of breaking up the color but not overwhelming the room. Yes, it's not silky soft, it is twill, but that is what the flat sheet is for. Finally, the color is off-white so you get the clean look without being blinded. I'm so happy I ran into this! see less

I was looking for a new duvet for my king size bed when this one came around in my local target, and I bought it with the idea of returning just in case it was not good. However, once I opened from the box I loved the delicate and modern pattern, and the color was perfect in my bedroom color scheme. All I had to do to bring the material softness and beauty out was to crank open my ironing table and get my iron in full steam, but there is no way around it if you want it not to look like straight out of the box thing. I iron curtains and they look exactly like in the pictures and so this was not different. Once ironed, it look absolutely beautiful in my bed, like I had it custom made for my house in some expensive place. You would never say this was bought for [$]. I am very happy! see less

This is the most horrible duvet cover ever I could've spent less money elsewhere and gotten better quality. First off, the fabric is a heavy twill...think white lightweight denim. Secondly, they didn't put a soft finish on this hard fabric so it's extremely scratchy. It feels like sandpaper on the skin. I am not exaggerating. So I washed and dried it hoping that would help...but no such luck. Thirdly, i promptly removed it from the dryer and the thing is a horribly wrinkled mess. I even tried ironing it out but even on the highest setting I couldn't get the wrinkles out. So now I'm stuck with it. At least the design concept is nice but still, the khaki piping is so thick it makes the fabric around it pucker everywhere. My once gorgeous bedroom now looks like a college kid's dorm room bc the bed looks so sloppy. What a waste of 90 dollars!!! see less

The pictures on the website are brighter and richer than the actual quilt. The quilt almost looks as if it's faded. It's not very warm either. I purchased the matching shower curtain and that was bright and beautiful, but again the colors in the quilt are dull- I believe because of all the stitching going across it. see less

I ordered the King set and the shams were standard size not king. The back of one sham was torn from the fabric being so thin. It was perfect for our room and I was able to adapt the shams to work but don't expect this to be a true king set. see less

I was looking for an inexpensive duvet set for my guest room and came across the Threshold Seersucker duvet set from Target. I purchased the set in the grey color for my guest room, and I liked it so much that I went back and purchased it in white for my master bedroom. The duvet set has just enough texture that its not too busy looking, this one is very easy on the eyes. Also, the clean lines from the textured stitching create a neutral setting so its not feminine looking. Overall, I am very pleased with both of my purchases from this set and would definitely recommend this product. see less

I was trying to find a white duvet cover for a few months & could never find just what I was looking for. After considering a much more expensive one on a different site, I saw this and knew I had found it. I was worried it would be too short for my king sized bed, but it fits perfectly! It is long enough on both sides and comes down to the bed skirt nicely. It's very soft, and comfortable. My husband & I never want to get out of bed in the morning, it's just that comfy. Plus, it looks just as nice as the more expensive one I saw! I would definitely recommend this duvet cover. see less

Bought this in full/queen and it is fantastic!!! My daughter has a full size bed but it so oversized it will fit our queen size tempurpedic and has plenty of hang time.. Washed it several times and the color is still very vibrant. Best zebra print set I've found and the price and quality is great. see less
