We were looking for a "big girl" bed that our daughters could grow into. They wanted bunk beds for fun. This hits both! We were able to repurpose the twin mattresses they had as the upper bunk and only buy the double for the bottom, no box springs needed. When they out grow the bunk beds, we just take the twin off and they have their big girl beds. The quality is excellent. Assembly was a bit challenging. My husband said "This is a bed kit!". The wood is solid and not the press board you often see. The paint was sprayed on and looks perfect. We could not be more excited with the value and the girls are delighted with thier new beds. see less

Cant find a style bunk bed like this 4 the price and quality at any other furniture store. Looked everywhere, glad that we decided to get this for our 3 yr old. We only have 1 kid, but for now she sleeps on the bottom, which actually works out for me as I lay with her until she is asleep and all her dolls are on the top bunk...storage! The slant ladder makes it easy and safe for her to climb up and down and it's not in the way. Having beds for overnite guests is another great use we are getting. Beds can be separated and if she has a bro or sis in the future, it will be useful for that too. My husband put the bed together and took no more than 4 hours. All the wood pieces are labled with stickers to facilitate assembly. Only reason I knocked a star off on quality is because the wood is not the best, but can't really expect any thing more. The price is already great and I'm sure it will last longer than expected. We are happy and satisfied with this purchase. see less

I only have one complaint ... see more

I only have one complaint on this bunk bed and it is significant, in my opinion. The white paint was off-gassing VOCs to the point the kids and I could only be in the room for a few minutes before getting light headed. We tried all the tricks - fans, windows, high heat, onions, vinegar, baking soda - to no avail. I finally decided to pull it apart, partially sand it down, prime it with AFM Safecoat to seal in the remaining fumes, and recoat it with some quality paint. In hindsight, it would have been just as quick and effective to fully sand it down, but I ordered the primer/sealer before I started to sand. Other than that - this is a great deal compared to any other bunk beds I could find. The bunk beds are solid, the wood is mostly solid pine, and the parts fit together well. After about 100 dollars in materials and 20-ish hours, it is much better and safer than new. If it wasn't for the poor and dangerous paint - I would have given 5 stars. see less

This bed is very good for the price you pay. It can be a little wobbly if the kids are bouncing around too much on the top bunk, so I am careful to not let them be too rough on the bed. Not sure if the bed was put together exactly to instructions, since I did not put it together, but the only downfall is the head of the mattress tends to "sink" because it's barely held in place by the last rung. If there were more rungs holding the mattress, I think it would seem more supportive. But again for the price, its a good bed for the kids. I like the sort of modern style and the dark wood color. see less

This bunk bed is worth the extra money. The style and quality will last for years. Product was delivered on time and assembly was very easy. I like the flexibility that you can use the full and twin beds separately or together as a bunk bed. see less

Looks just like the picture, easy to put together and very stable. I had one missing screw and I contacted the manufacturer, as directed in the instructions, and a replacement screw was delivered the next day. Great value. see less

We bought this bed for our teenage son. He and I put it together in about 45 min. It was very easy to assemble and is pretty sturdy for being as tall as it is. The space underneath is probably the best part because it frees up a lot of floor space in the room. Overall I would say that this is a well made bed and well worth the price. see less

This bed takes a lot of abuse at our house from our boys, but has held up beautifully. I bought it for my teenagers room, but I think I'll send it with him to college in the fall so he has a little more floor space. see less

Our daughters share a room and we've been looking for new beds for them. We couldn't decide between this black one and the identical white one so we bought one of each color . . . one for each of the girls. They love them! We loved the priced and the fact that they open up the room with the fun space under the loft. The assembly was pretty straightforward . . . took about an hour and a half to put each bed together . . . a little less on the second one. Overall, the beds look great, they're sturdy and the open up so much space. Also, the price was what we were looking for. see less

After comparison shopping for a set of white bunk beds, we ordered 2 of these for the kids room at our beach house. They were easy to put together - just took a little time. The kids love them and they are beautifully finished and sturdy nice contemporary style and good looking.. The twin mattresses we bought for them fit perfectly. Highly recommend. The bed was sent in three ... see more

The bed was sent in three separate boxes. Box 1 had the headboard, footboard, and hardware. Box 2 had the side rails, guardrails, & the ladder parts. Box 3 had the mattress support slats. The manual stated that you should only use a mattress that is 74"-75" Long and 37 1/2"-38 1/2" Wide on the upper bunk. To ensure thickness of mattress does NOT exceed 6" and that the mattress surface is at least 5" below upper edge of guardrails. The manual gives two instruction options....to construct the bunk beds or two twin beds which is great! There were some damaged pieces...mostly the ladder parts. I'm going to call and ask for replacement pieces. Some of the screws weren't correctly made so it made construction time a little longer. Overall I am very satisfied with this product because it was on sale when I purchased it, it has a cute style, & it's made from sturdy materials. I believe my girls will get a lot of use and years out of these beds. see less
