I had a Procter Silex blender I had purchased about 6-7 yrs ago for about $12.00. It worked pretty well. I have recently started making smoothies, almost on a daily basis, and one thing I noticed was that it really didn't crush the ice as well as I'd like...but it would suffice for the moment. That all changed when I dropped the plastic blending jar. No replacements to be found....so I was thrilled when I saw this on Sale. Purchased it about an hour ago...and I LOVE IT!!! It was all ready to go...just screw the blending mechanism on tight, rinse the jar..plug it in and go! It works wonderfully!! It has a "liquify" button for crushing the ice..and a smoothie button as well....what used to take 10 min. in the old blender..takes about 3 in this one!!! The Jar is a bit heavy as it is glass...but I'm sure I'll get used to that soon. It also has wrap around cord storage in the base of the unit. Looks pretty on the counter as it is stainless steel look and black. Easy to use..and did I say works great?!!! So far...I LOVE IT!! *sits back and sips her perfectly blended, homemade smoothie*
Great Blender easy to use and clean. Makes great milk shakes MUST HOLD TOP OR milkshake will overflow. Have made fruit drinks, milkshakes, Bread crumbs, cracker crumbs. Would recommend to friends an family. Was on sale a great value.
I purchased this last week and have been juicing ever since. So far I have not had any problems and it works wonderful. My original juicer was terrible big/bulky/messy. This juicer blends everything including carrots, apples, broccoli into a wonderful smoothie. It is so easy to use and clean and juicing is now a breeze. I have my whole family juicing.
I've used the NutriBullit every day for over a year now and just love it!!
Can't say enough good things, everything is pulverized perfectly.
I used to try to make my smoothies in a Cuisinart which I still have
and an Acme Juicer, just not the same quality of smoothness.
If food is leaking into the unit you are simply filling it too full.
I received this as part of my baby registry. My baby recently turned 6 months, so I can't comment on the longevity of this product.
That said, it works as expected. I've used the milling blade for organic brown rice cereal, very easy. I am able to make fresh, organic food in a few seconds while my baby sits in his highchair. A banana and a splash of baby-safe water and in 10 seconds he has breakfast. Now we are combining foods and it's so easy to toss sliced, cooked peaches in with sliced, cooked sweet potatoes and it's very simple to use.
If you put in too much food, it won't turn well...just make smaller batches. Sometimes I cook a lot at once, but I only fill up the bowl less than halfway and puree. Smaller batches are better in my opinion because you can make sure every bit is pureed without lumps.
It hand washes and stores easily since it is a small appliance.
It's also very cute.
I like how I can make my own baby's food and know exactly what is put into the food. Love it! The instructions say do not wash on hot, sanitize, etc., do not wash power base or blade holder in dishwasher. The rest of the cups and spoons, etc. says they are dishwasher safe! I bought with the baby bullet the baby bullet extra storage sytem. I washed the 2-1-carry and go container for the 1st time on the top rack, normal cycle. When I pulled it out it had melted! I feel I washed it as it instructed. I cleaned the cups according to the 'cleaning safeguards.' Everything else washed fine! It was just the To-Go Tube that I had trouble. It says they are dishwasher safe of top rack, normal setting, except for the blade holders, and power base. So be very careful on what setting on the dishwasher it is washed on. Other than washing carefully it is for me well worth the money!
