I LOVE this set! it has tons of detail in the house, yard and mini-figures. It was an average build and took me an hour to an hour and a half to build. The play experience is wonderful and i could seriously play with this set for hours. Olivia's parents (Peter and Anna) were a great add on to the set and just makes this set better! I have many Lego and Lego friends sets and this one is probably my favorite. It is a great addition to your Lego town and just overall an amazing set and i would definetley recommend it to everyone! :)
I bought this set for myself, and I really enjoy it. It was a pretty easy build. I, personally, didn't like how the kitchen was set up, and that the front door led into the kitchen. But for me that was the beginning of the fun! I rearranged the kitchen, adding more counter space, a cupboard, and a coffee machine. I also moved the kitchen stuff into the family room, and the family room stuff in to the kitchen, and I'm much happier with the setup. Using windows for walls, I made the parents a bedroom, with Olivia's bed. I put the bed from Mia's Bedroom set in Olivia's room, and it matched the color scheme perfectly. I also reconstructed Olivia's room to put her deck outside the front of her room. I also added a deck for the parents, fixing the roofing problems by removing Olivia's deck. I didn't touch the bathroom, except to add four 2 by one green tiles, as towels. I also removed one of the drawers from this room, adding it to Olivia's room. I also put a few plates under the roof, instantly adding storage!
I put the house and the yard on a green 30/30 plate to stabilize, also adding more yard space. While not all of her yard fits, it works better for play. In the yard I added a patio, doghouse, and Emma's Splash Pool. I guess what I'm saying is that I really like this set, because it adds a lot of possibility for personal improvement.
I would really like to see room sets, sets with just a room that you can add to the house. Specifically a parent's room, another girl's bedroom ( Wouldn't it be fun to use random Lego friend parts and give Olivia a sister?), and blank rooms, without furniture. If Lego were to come out with blank rooms, I would buy two, adding them to my house, placing Emma's Studio in. Also maybe another, to put Emma's Karate class in. It would be fun! And you wouldn't have to worry about too many rooms, because there rooms change in and out so easily, you can just put away the one's you aren't playing with. I would also enjoying see more outfits for the Mom and Dad. But it's not a huge deal.
I would like to clarify that I did not name all of the things I added.
If you can find this set, buy it. Rarely do we come across a toy that is so well-made. You and your child will have a great time working on these models. They take time and concentration, though, so make sure that is what you are looking for in a toy. It's worth the money.

Doesn't contain instruction for every model on the box!
We purchased this kit for our son's birthday as a fun activity we could do together. So I told him to pick the model from the back of the box that he would like to build after dinner and he picked a tow truck. I was very frustrated to open the box only to find out that the instructions only contain detailed steps for eleven models. The box says twenty-five. He was disappointed but we picked another model and had a great time. I visited the Erector set website for further instructions and they said that they don't have them because they want kis to use their imagination. Great, but not every kid has a mechanical engineer for a father. The set is fun just know that the box is misleading in the number of models the instructions contain.
I got this set in the mail today, and I must say...this is the coolest set I have ever seen. This thing looks like a beast! I love this like it is my own child.
Looks like a death machine
All 4 ninja and gold weapons
2 golden dragon swords ???
Took me 2 1/2 hours to build (not a big problem)
Buy this today!!!
One of the best sets i have bought throught my lego collection
good figures could be able to fit all four ninjas inside
good play features also could of had anacondri staff
good size vehicle
With the large mech, folding temple, rare minifigures, trapdoor, all four elemental blades, two stone soldiers, this set is worth the $70. This temple of greatness combines all these features into one awesome set! Like Kai's Fire Mech, the sword is NOT clipped, but cannot be held as easily. However, the temple could have been bigger, almost making me rate this four concerning the "value for money." Do not worry about the temple compared with the TV show, for Ninjago takes root in Lego, not Cartoon Network! Highly recommended for "The Final Battle!"
This set closed the theme of Ninjago! :'( let us all have a minute of silence......... This departing gift really pleased me. The mech and figures really delighted me. The temple is great for the reasonable price. The Golden Ninja was the star of the set, it is the best figure in my Ninjago collection. Goodbye Ninjago and may your legacy live forever! -Lloyd2la
The temple of light is a really nice set. It comes with 5 mini figures Lloyd (golden ninja), Lord Garmadon, Sensei Wu, scout and warrior. Lloyd is really cool he has a lot of detail. Lord Garmadon looks really evil, I like his 4 arms. Sensei Wu looks good but not too much detail. I like the scout because of his arrows. The warrior is awesome I love his printing. Now onto the set I like the Golden mech because of its size. Sadly the sword falls out a lot but its okay. I think it has good detail, I love the printed piece at the top of the mech. The temple of light looks cool. Although it does not have too much functions its still a great set. The 2 functions are it can open and close and my favorite function is the trap door. The trap door has one problem when you put a minifigure on it and pull the lever it usually gets stuck. To rap it up the temple of light is an awesome set totally worth the money.

I couldn't believe how heavy this package was when it arrived. The blocks are made of VERY solid hard wood and I love that they're not painted or varnished (just smoothly sanded) so when my little one puts these in her mouth I don't worry about lead paint!! I can't stress enough the quality of these blocks. I got them for my daughter when she was around 14 months old and she still plays with them at age 2. When her cousin comes over (age 6) she always likes to play with them too!
This is one of those special toys that you will keep around for years to come. All three of our children play with it. I even plan to save it for the grandchildren. A plus is that it is the one toy that I keep in the living room because it isn't an eye sore.
When I was little I had the Ultimate Lightsaber Duel (The one where if you pressed their heads, their lightsabers lit up) and the Jedi Starfighter & Vulture Droid and I loved them so much. And while this set doesn't have illuminating lightsabers it has a great set of minifigs, Anakin in his Sith Apprentice state, Obi-Wan Jedi Master, The first non-clone wars Nute Gunray, a security Battle Droid and R2-D2. I have to say these are just great. This Anakin has to be one of my favorite so far. The brand new Obi-Wan is just great. The security battle droid and R2 are regular but they had to be included. Lastly Nute Gunray is Brand-new and I really like how detailed he is. Now with the set, it's the first Jedi Interceptor in a while and I like this one as it is Anakin's last Jedi ship. R2-D2 fits in the wing nicely, and the cannons and weapons are quite nice. Overall it’s great, except for the stickers. Now to the rest. The platform and mining droid have clear bricks below them to give them a "floating" effect, and they are accurate compared to the movie.
Pros & Cons
R2 fits in ship
Brand new minifigures
Anakin's Mining Droid is higher the Obi-Wan's platform
Could've had more (honestly I wouldn't mind pay an extra $10 for a land piece and defeated Anakin)
Overall this is a great set and it's hard to find so I recommend that you buy it right away!
this set is awesome minfigures are great so is the ship and the two other things mini figures: battle droid only good if you want to build up an army nute gunrey good for playing with r2-d2 good if you dont have one anakin just awesome really cool new design and obi-wan he is by far my favourite so mini figures 5/5 and the ship 4/5 the wings always fall off it is so annoying other than that really good the other things 5/5 they never break and good for putting minifigures on and make them fight with each other the
cons anakin's black hand always tips to the left it's probebly just mine though and the ships wings
overall rating 5/5
This set is probably my third favorite LEGO Star Wars set that I have. BARC Speeder with Sidecar being second and X-Wing Fighter being first. (ALL MOST CURRENT VERSIONS). I would recommend this to any LEGO Fan or Star Wars Fan!
this toy is a great toy for you to play with your children. my 2 and 3 year olds love it, but there are small parts so you need not leave them unattended with it. but on the up side the whole family loves to play it together even the grandparents, but it sometimes seems the children make more complex things than the adalts. i do suggest buying multiple because like legos you always need more.
