I love these blocks! They're perfect for small handed babies, chewing and of course stacking! The designs on them keeps my child interested in looking and tlaking about the pictures and when you have a one year old boy who likes destruction there is nothing better than soft blocks being thrown about. I highly reccommend this not only as a personal home purchase but as an adorable gift! I love adding these to a baby shower gift basket because parents don't think their baby will grow fast but turn around in four months and they're playing with it! I love B toys! see less

Bright colors keep babies interested, light weight so they can pick them up, and squishy for chewing and won't hurt if they fall on them. And you can wash them easily! This is a great addition to my ever growing lego family. I am a builder maniac, always constructing new buildings and creations, so this is perfect. It comes with a little "inspiration" booklet to help you get started, then it's up to your imagination. When buying this set keep in mind that 400 bricks isn't that much, you may be dissapointed when you open the box and find a small bag. Comes with a cute lego man, awesome surprise!, which adds to the fun. The colors are very bright and colorful, green, blue, black, red, yellow. Overall though this is a splendid attition to my lego collection and I've had hours of fun with this!! see less

My daughters are age 4 and 6...both of them LOVE the whole princess concept. They have created a few cars, castles and they absolutely adore the horse. They have both created their own horse drawn carriages. I remember playing with lego's when I was younger...but they were nothing like these. It allows a girl to be a girl....yet use her "architectual" ability to create anything their imagination allows.I also loved the guide that came with it to teach you step by step how to create several different items. My 21 month old daughter LOVES these. When we just got them I was totally impressed with how she watched me stack and pack the blocks. She was thrilled with the idea of playing with them and then she took over! She loves them! I read a lot of reviews about the softer nesting blocks vs the wooden ones. I can see how the softer blocks can be not as loud or not so painful if they fall on little toes (especially if there are little siblings around) but I LOVE the wooden blocks. They are VERY durable and have great paint jobs. They have hit our wooden floors many tims since we got them and they still look GREAT!!! Not to mention, there are no stickers on them for her to peel off making it look trashy! I am 100% pleased with this purchase! see less

They will grow with her as she learns to stack them. If I could change one thing, I would make the letters on the blocks be different colors that the actual block so that she could see them easier. see less

We have three kids (6, 3, and 16 months) and they all love these blocks. We purchased three sets. We have had them for two years now and it is one of those toys that gets used over and over. The novelty never has worn off. Yes, you do get three different sizes of blocks, which makes it more educational for the kids to learn how to build things of different sizes. Our kids are rough with them too and they have held up very well. A couple have been slightly dented because the kids use them to build forts, beds, stairs, and bury each other. I would definately recommend these; they inspire kids to use their imagination. see less

Beware! For [$$], I gave my grandson about [$$] worth of logs, which probably cost about [$$] to mill and package at most. Fortunately Target [..]. If there had been a negative number for "value," I would have used it. The box is large and comes with each sized log and roof piece packaged separately inside--lots of plastic. It almost fills the box. After you throw out the packaging, you have fewer than 2 inches of logs in a box over a foot tall and about 9 inches in circumference. Frankly, I was embarrassed to give it to him for his birthday. My grandson loves blocks, so I hope he'll like this as well, but I'd buy the cheaper pseudo-lincoln logs if I were you. If he likes them well enough, I certainly will in the future. About three times as many logs cost half as much money. This is a rip-off aimed at people like me who remember kids playing with them years ago. see less

Title says it all!! This is our second set of snaps. Our kiddo who is 10 months loves playing with them. She watches me take them apart and put them together and she tries to mimick. Unsuccessfully of course but she is so entertained and will get there eventually!! Her favorite is the yellow one but the box only came with one. I wish it would've come with a couple of more! Our kid is at the "take out" stage so when she seems me snap them together she wants to immediate take them apart. I can't even catch up with her! see less

These were originally mad ... see more

These were originally made of wood many years ago and called "building boys", later the official name became "Billy-Ding Boys" some 60 years ago. They vanished for a while but are back. These are great for building, balancing and teaching little hands how to build. They teach creativity and when the child moves into grade school they are still fun for a while...then forgotten...until they are brought out for visiting children to delight in. You also see high school students working with them in physics! As a physics teacher I brought them to class where they were used to make great problems for students. I recommend them for ages 2-7 and then again for school projects and physics teachers. We still have some that are going on 80 years old. Mike C. see less

My 4-year-old son recently got this set and he loves it! It comes with many pieces and 4 cars which is perfect for sharing with his little sister. It has two cool ramp pieces included that have been used in our house for starting races, making a winner circle, and making a ramp hideout to get away from bad guys. It's a fun set, a bit overpriced but has many more pieces than other sets I have seen. Fun for a duplo or cars fan! see less

I always love Tinkertoys as a child, but hated that the wooden sticks would always break leaving them useless. And so I was so happy to see that K'NEX had put a modern twist on this classic toy and dramatically improved it's performance. My girls absolutely loved that they could build their creations by snapping the pieces together and then they would STAY together so they could actually play with the items they had built. They were driving truck and flying helicopters all over my living room. The bendy rods were also a unique touch that allowed for even more imaginative play. I am so glad to see my kids enjoying a timeless classic that requires them to play with their imagination instead of with batteries. Way to go K'NEX! see less

This is a great starter set for any kid getting into legos. The variety and number (704!) of pieces gave a lot of options for our 6 year old. There is an instruction book with about a half dozen suggested designs which is fun also, but encourages creative free design as well. In some ways, I prefer this to the sets which make a specific item. Storage box is helpful and comes with two lego people. see less

We can stuff so many "bad guys" into the prison, the launcher works fine as does all the moving parts.
