SO glad we did, we take it everywhere with us when he's going to need naptime or bedtime. The music is a wonderful mix of classic tunes, with a soft "bubbling water" sound in the background. The music lasts 5 minutes, and my baby learned to push it's tummy and turn it back on. ALSO NOTE inside the Seahorse is a switch to make it loud or quiet. If you think it's too loud, open up it's back and turn it to the quiet setting! The batteries are safe from baby because you need a screwdriver to open the back. My son has loved building, rebuilding and playing with his Loader and dumper. He also loves playing with the "mine bomb." It was pretty easy for him to put together with my direction. He is 5 and had a few pieces that were too small for his fine motor skills, but overall he did a great job putting it together with a little assistance. He has taken pieces apart and put those back together by himself several times. It has held up with hours and hours of playing. My child has had no problems using it on any surface, hard wood, tile, and carpet. We have all three in our home and the popper works on all surfaces. Other reviews complaining about how it doesn't work on hardwoods - they are right. The amount of pressure needed to turn the wheels is hard for toddlers to achieve on hardwoods. However, in our house the adults push the popper and "chase" the toddlers with it, so its not an issue. I only gave 4 starts because I think it should have an expandable handle. When it was finally assembled, I remember thinking it was small for the price we paid, (50 bucks plus the cost of additional animals), where were all the animals going to fit?.... BUT then, my daughter started playing with it. It has kept all of us entertained! And she is learning the names and sounds of the different zoo animals! SO cool! The variety of different animals available helps keep it entertaining for her as well, and for me too! An added bonus to purchasing this set is that family and friends can give additional animal pieces as gifts (under ten bucks) since most people aren't going to afford the whole set at a time anyway. The dress fits my 2 year old and she LOVES that she matches her babydoll. The only reason why I see this being for 3 and up is maybe because of the crown on her head is on loosely and the shoes come off, but unless your child is good with things like these just put them away for when she's older. This doll is made of good quality and the hair is perfect, she even has the brown piece of hair in the back just like in the movies! If you're worried about the hair being messy all the time, I just braid her hair in a pony tail and it's fine. You can use detangler and a hairbrush to get out and knots if any appear. I will say this doll has survived through the playground, bedtime, bathtime, and more. I'm EXTREMELY happy with this purchase. Awesome gun. Shoots farther than any other gun I have owned. Large ammo capacity comes in really handy when your oppenent gets down to his last rounds. It makes a whining noise, but when your oppenent hears it- it is usually to late, cause he has probably already been hit. Sometimes the bullets come out of the clip and get stuck when you try to rotate to your next clip, an easy fast fix. The 8 rotating clips is great- can hold up to 144 rounds, with the 18 dart clips. I have 48 bullets in my gun now, and HARDLY EVER go through all of them. Overall an awesome gun that can distibute a lot of ammo. see less

Got this toy for my 9 month old son for Christmas, and he absolutely loves it!!! It's a great product and he loves to chew on the balls and spin the green dinosaur that the balls pass through to get to the bouncing stage. He also thinks it's funny watching the balls bounce everywhere...and I mean everywhere(I think the sides could have been a little higher to keep the balls in better.) I've been working with him to throw the balls back in. I would have liked to have seen a storage space for the balls though, I am constantly chasing the balls down because he gets them out of the dino's belly and rolls them everywhere.
