I weigh over 200 pounds and I sit on it to get it as snug as possible when installing the base to ensure it is a snug fit, so my little peanut stays put. We purchased this as an extra base but after realizing it fit in the middle seat of our car and wouldn't wiggle at all, even less than the original, I took it for my car!! The head support not only did its job but also was so soft I had no concerns that my little was uncomfortable. Seat was easy to install in the car, built in level is a great added feature. Seat was easy to remove and very lightweight. Canopy is the right size to protect from all elements. The only think I had any trouble with was occasionally the button was hard for me to push. I got these shades (one for each back window) for my twins. They work great as far as blocking out the sun (and street lights at night). I love the UV alert tab as well. I like that they attach at the top of the window without suction cups, which lessons the chance of them becoming dangerous projectiles in an accident. My only comlpaint is that I can't leave them in too long because they start to leave dents on the plastic mold around my window at the top where they're attached. The top can either hook over the top of the glass window, or you can use the suction cups. Very happy with this car seat! My husband had to go to Target and buy this car seat after our preemie failed the first car seat test with another brand car seat. He needed to pass the test to be discharged from the hospital on the 3 hour drive home. This seat filled the bill. We loved the fact that the knob in the back easily adjusts the height, the whole car seat looks and feels very substantial and we felt safe putting our almost 6 lb. baby in it. This carseat is the easiest one I have ever seen to install and take out. It has its own LATCH belt attached to the carseat. You just snap it on the anchors and tighten the belt by pressing a button and pulling the belt tight. It also has a bubble level so you know it's in the correct position. Then to get it out, just push the red button and it snaps off easy like a seatbelt. No more hours spent trying to get the seat in and out. It's also very easy to get baby in and out. There's a button you push to loosen the seatbelt and fasten it, then push button again and tighten belt around baby. It's very stylish and I like the extra visor to keep the sun off baby's face. Baby sits deeper into the seat than the last one I had and looks more comfortable. It looks like it will last a long time, not fall apart after a few months. I would recommend it to anyone. see less

This is an amazingly great carseat! [...]. I love the easy adjustments to the harness straps and that we don't have to get him out of his seat to do so. I love the duel side handles for tightening and un tightening of the straps. I love the comfortable feeling material and the colors especially the bright green! The side impact testing is a definite plus! I also read safety reviews on this seat and they get a great rating.. This is a great carseat! We bought this one for our Yukon and the Evenflo Titan for our compact car. They are both nice, but this one is definitely nicer. I like how the straps tighten from the side and how the straps never twist because the ones on the Titan are made out of a different fabric and they twist. Love the colors and how roomie the carseat is - great purchase and no complaints. For the quality, the price is excellent. Wish we would've just gotten two of these. see less

He is our 3rd boy so being able to get him in and out quickly and easily is very important. We just bought this Evenflo Symphony 65 car seat for my 11 month old and have been using it for a couple weeks now. He seems to like it a lot, the seat is very padded, reclines nicely and has lots of room. I'm a little worried that the gray on the sides will get dirty and stained by little toddler hands, but it seems to be a fairly stain-resistant micro-fiber so we'll see. The installation was fairly easy, but it took some time to get it tight enough that the car seat wouldn't move around. The 5-point harness buckle works nicely, and it is really easy to adjust the straps. It's not too bulky, and if needed I can fit in the middle seat in between this rear-facing car seat and my daughter's forward-facing Britax. I like that he can use the 5-point harness to 65 pounds if needed, and then it converts to a belt-positioning booster. Overall a great seat, especially for the price. see less

I did a lot of research and asked several people what their favorite convertible carseat is/was before making this big purchase. I read the reviews on the symphony and just about all were positive. My lislike with this seat is the comfort. My little girl is 9 months and 20 lbs, and she sits in this seat very awkwardly. Her head is not in a very comfortable position no matter how I adjust. She all but jumps out when we get to our destination. I have had it for a few weeks but, I am debating on taking it back and getting something different. She has marks on her legs after being in it, even if for 5 minutes. I have tried adjusting the straps but, that causes them to be too loose. I want her to be safe but, I would like her to be comfortable as well. see less

I also miss having a sunshade like she did on the infant version, but I guess they don't make them for this size of item. It's sturdy, easy to use, I like the color and I like the two removable inserts to make it the right size for our 8 month old. At first I was worried that the straps were too close together and would chafe her neck, but I realized they were the same distance as her infant seat, just that those straps had become more flexible with use. The new ones seemed stiff at first but they are already flexible and have never bothered her. We like it. see less

We bought another convertible carseat a few weeks ago and I hated it. I knew there had to be another that was easier to install, more cushion, and my baby wouldn't droop forward. The ease of installation was AMAZING! It's super soft. I love the purple- I have a boy and it's not a super girly purple. I'm in love with this carseat so far. The only thing I wish it had were the buckles to attach to the bars under the seat back but it still feels very secure. see less

This car seat was easy for my husband to install. It was easy to tighten up the straps to make sure it didn't move around in the seat. I've had no problems getting our daughter in and out. The only issues we've had with this seat are that it is BIG. We have a full-size SUV on a cross-over frame, and because the car seat is rear-facing and is behind the driver's seat, my 6'1" husband has trouble with the seat needing to be so far up, so it doesn't touch the car seat. The only other issue has been said by one other person. We had trouble with the straps not tightening up correctly in the rear-facing position. We were able to remedy the problem when our daughter was not in the seat. I would recommend this seat as long as you have room for it. We love it and are buying another one for my husband's truck! see less

It has a cup holder fr his sippy cup and it does not fall out of the holder like other cup holders have in the past. The rep. I spoke to was polite and said they are testing these shades out all the time to try and resolve the issue. You can snap them together and have it block out the rear window as well, much cheaper then getting the windows tinted. I LOVE IT! i have used others and this is the best. it sticks better than any other and yet so easy to adjust or remove when needed. i see fine thru it. as far as it not sticking as other reviewers claim... they are suctions cups, suction cups require a smooth and clean surface. so if you have those raised heater lines on your back window, or a sticker of some sort on a window, or its just stick or dirty... OF COURSE IT ISN'T GOING TO STICK! DUH!!! and these suction cups are better than your average suction cup, they have a button to push for added suction. they are awesome! i love them! and they are stretchy to accommodate different size windows. for really large windows you need 2 as indicated on the package. also, if you cant see out of it, its probably from your already tinted window, which would make this a pointless purchase. see less

If you do not have muscles this product isn't for you. It is a tad bit on the heavy side. Our daughter seems to love it. We are expecting our baby any day now. As first-time parents we're probably a bit OVER prepared with all the supplies we have stored everywhere. This organizer accommodates that need, and keeps us from having to carry so many items in the diaper bag! We can put our back-up diapers in the organizer and just carry one or two in the bag at a time. I don't like leaving the wipes and diaper cream in the organizer because we live in a tropical environment and I worry about them drying out or overheating. But I love that we can carry a few extra binkies and bottles as well as extra breastfeeding supplies. We travel a lot to stay with family an hour away, so this organizer makes it easy for us to travel with all our supplies. I wanted a good neutral infant seat since we did not know the gender of our baby. I bought this as a travel system and couldn't be more impressed. It is EXTREMELY easy to install into the car, and we had an extra base in our 2nd car to make it easier to change between vehicles. Just snap it in and go! It is extremely easy to adjust the straps and harness, and the extra infant padding provides a ton of extra support. My son was in this seat from 7lbs until just over 20lbs. We stopped using it because he is very long and was getting close to the 30" height limit. It was definitely difficult moving our son into the next stage convertible car seat after having such a good experience with this one. see less

I am extremely pleased with this carseat. Although my child is not born until the end of this month, I can speak from experience as I have a daughter and have been through searching for the right carseat-carrier. I am 100 percent satisfied with this seat. Not only is it lightweight which is very important for ease of carrying your child. I have seen too many mothers walking as if they are carrying something that weights a ton, it seems like it will be easy to clean --probably just wipe with a warm soapy cloth--, and I am extremely happy with the padding. Many carseats now a days, I noticed need to have an extra padding added --which is often not safe for the infant-- otherwise you feel the bottom of the plastic in the seat. This one will not need any extra support added! I LOVE the colors. There are hints of the green color, but mostly it is a great gray color. Definitely could use for a boy or a girl! see less

I am a first time mom and I absolutely love this carseat. I have it in the Metropolis color scheme. My daughter is very petite - weighed 6.7 lbs. at birth - and she's done really well with this model. I would definitely recommend installing a better head support for the newer babies though. Once in the car the seat is very upright, so my daughter's head flopped around more than I would have liked. But other than that she seems to really be comfortable in this car seat. It is very easy to buckle her in and out and the material is great for easy clean up. I would highly recommend this carseat! see less

We recently had a second child and were in the market for a new car seat. Usually we go with something convertible to adjust as they grow. My husband and I figured that we could just hand down our older son's seat when the baby got big enough, so we went with this one for more safety. I am glad that we got it because of the adjustable screen and it's weight, it is lighter that our other son's seat by a margin. But, I think our son will out grow it before we can hand down the other seat, not a knock against this seat, but a lack of planning on our part. Overall a great seat though. see less

The carset is heavy enough without a baby in it, I didnt need to add more weight. We ordered this car seat because we wanted a nice, gender-neutral car seat at a reasonable price. Since we already have 2 Graco strollers, we wanted a Graco car seat to fit them. The only problem we have with it is the buckle is difficult to snap, but it may get easier over time. Right now we are using a different head support because the one it came with is way too big for our newborn daughter, but we plan to switch it to the original one as soon as we can. Purposely purchased this seat because it was the only "regular" sized seat with the front harness adjust strap that I could find...which, for any parent wanting to keep his or her sanity, this is an absolute necessity!!! I also like the pattern because of its neutral colors...lots of people have complimented it. I didn't think the fabric was overly rough or anything either. I actually like it because it's easier to wipe out, etc. We didn't do it, but it would be really easy to get a separate head rest and/or strap covers that are softer if you'd like. see less

I was pleased to find the smaller, 22-pound Snugride with the adjustable strap in the front since a lot of other prints in the 22-lb. size make you adjust in the back, which is nearly impossible. I like the print, however, it's not as soft and plush as I would like and the infant head support is a bit stiff. There are also no strap covers to keep the straps from rubbing baby's neck. I also thought the main material was more brown and it's actually a greyish-brown and therefore the actual plastic seat and base is grey and not tan. IMO, it would look much better as tan. I will either keep the seat because it is a 22-lb. seat with the adjustable strap in the front, but remove the fabric and replace it with a more plush cover, or return the seat altogether and get one with a tan plastic seat and base. see less

After having 3 boys, I was determined to drown in girly and absolutely fell in love with this carseat! Definitely love at first sight and it only got better from there. It's so soft, the cover was genius, the handle is well handy, it's lightweight I've had 3 boys and have tried 3 different carriers not to mention the base is compact. It's great support and just love it! The only downsides are... no stroller included, no shoulder straps included can buy separate though, and the base requires you to push the front button versus a red bar thingy at the back like most. I actually don't use the base anymore because I thought this process was a pain but it has the indicator and sits nicely in our Jeep even with a convertible carseat and another child with no carseat in the back seat with her! We been using the carseat for just two week, however this car seat is amazing! Comfortable for the kids, easy to adjust for the parents. We have a Dodge Grand Caravan, and it fits perfectly with room for people to still pass through and get into the back. My husband tried to install on his own but had some trouble, we then decided to be safe we went to the nearest Police Dept and they did it in less than 10 minutes. Safety for our son, who is 2yrs old, is the most important aspect in a carseat. I love the protective headwings provides a greater sense of security. My son says that the seat has pillows for his head, also enjoys looking out the windows. I like that you can have it rear-facing until 40 pounds, however my son is tall for his age so we had to use it front facing which works perfectly. I am very happy with this seat! You wouldn't think an infant needs cup holders, but they are handy to keep car toys in when you're not in the car so they don't get misplaced. Later, for actual cups. It has some great waterproofing - liquid rolls off of it. Note it is NOT the kind with the base. We registered for it and realized this after but, for the LONG TERM, I am glad we got the Captain's chair and so is our daughter. As to negative comment, yes, I agree, the buckle between the legs is harder to open than it needs to be. I understand not wanting baby to undo it, but I need both hands just to get it. I was really unsure about putting my 4 yo in a booster instead of a 5 point harness, but this seat provides great protection. It positions the seat belt very well. It fits in our Volvo wagon and Prius with no problem. Even with our infant in her carrier there is still enough room for someone to sit in the middle of the backseat of the Volvo if necessary. He fits comfortably with lots of room to grow. It also has enough side wing cushion to support his head when he falls asleep, which he does. He loves the cup holders and I do too. Ordered two of these in a panic just a couple of days before departing for a long weekend trip with my daughter and two granddaughters, 4 and 7. Just didn't want to get caught without carseats if needed for taxi rides, etc. What an incredible invention. I can inflate one in three to four breaths, and both my daughter and I got to the point where we could insert the belts into the respective clips in about 45 seconds. I inflated them upon arrival, and they stayed inflated the whole time. We used them in cabs and in other people's cars. After use, they deflated to near nothing, and I rolled them up, stuffed them into their little drawstring bags, and tucked them into my carry-on tote for the flight home. Incredible. see less

This is the second Graco My Ride that we have purchased for our youngest daughter. The first one is staying in my husbands car, we got a new one for my new car. At first, we ordered the Graco Nautilus, because we have one of those for our older daughter, and we really like it, and love all the options as the kids grow, but it just didn't fit my youngest comfortably. She is small for her age, and she just wasn't comfortable, she still falls asleep in the car and because it doesn't really recline at all, her little head would flop forward, the adjustable head rest didn't seem to work for her, etc. So, back to the My Ride 65! First trip in the new car seat was to the store to return the Nautilus, less than 10 minutes from home, and she fell asleep before we even got out of the neighborhood!
