Most of these pads do not hold up after multiple washes required with a preschooler. This one holds up great. You just need to make sure that you do not wash or dry it on hot. Use warm water to wash and either air dry or dry on the lowest setting. I have had one for a year and washed it daily for a while with no problems. I will buy another one when my toddler moves to his big kid bed. It also seems comfortable and not plastic-y like some of them are and the price is very reasonable. see less

This was my first duvet and I'm absolutely in love with it. The colors are pretty much exactly what you see in the photos and it's perfect for spring. There are ties on the inside corners of the duvet which, I guess, are for tying to the blanket you use inside? I'm really not sure. It closes at one end with big clear buttons that are hardly noticeable. The pillow shams are very roomy and would easily fit very large pillows. Fit large on twin but fine with the cotton topped mattress cover and sheets. Surprise! It's the queen bed that needs vinyl. Returned this summer to a terrible odor. BODY ODOR from sweat had permeated the cotton mattress pad AND allergan zippered cover INTO mattress! I'd use 2 people to put it on to avoid tearing -it's thin- fine if you're careful. This has been on the twin beds for 3 years without any problems. Tried other waterproof zippered covers in the past that had fabric feel but when washed the outside cover would be fine but the waterproof inside would tear up and the cover was no longer waterproof. Buy a cotton top mattress pad to put OVER this vinyl cover. The vinyl really is to protect the investment of the mattress and to stop liquids, dust, bugs, and BODY SWEAT ODOR see less

It has just enough of a pad ... not overly fluffy. The elastic sides fit over my mattress (12") but I'm sure it could easily accommodate a deeper mattress. I am staying with my In Laws and their beds are SO firm. I could not sleep well. I'm a side sleeper and need some cushion, but this is not temporary so I did not want to spend double the amount for a mattress cover, or more. Tried this one and I'm quite happy with it. You have to evaluate it for the price. For 15 dollars, it is fabulous! It is ever so slightly smaller than the twin mattress and does slip a bit to the side after a week or so, but it is so much more comfortable than the mattress! It was a great purchase and now I can sleep comfortably every night. Not sure why everyone is having issues with smell but it had no real odor at all for me. Finally this morning I got the brains to check the tag on our current sheets - and they are these ones. I had seen these sheets online and written them off due to bad reviews. We have been sleeping on these sheets and these sheets only for over 2 years. We wash them weekly. We are not fancy sheet people. We want something comfortable that doesn't fall apart. These sheets are exactly that. You cant beat the price, and these are super comfortable and we have never had a problem with them. No lint. No problems with washer or dryer. They do wrinkle, but thats cause we cant put them straight on the bed from dryer, as we have to go elsewhere to do washing. But seriously! great sheets. I originally bought this item in the twin size for my sons bed. The fabric was soft and had a silky quality, the only downside being the ties in the corners to hold the duvet in were stitched rather poorly, but it was nothing too horrible that I couldn't fix it myself. I loved the feel of his so much, I decided to buy the same for my bed but in a queen size. I got the queen size home and opened the packaging and the fabric had a completely different texture and feel. It was rough and almost scratchy. Definitely not the same material or product. The only good thing was that the corner ties were much more sturdy. I don't understand why there is a difference in the materials used, but I would not suggest buying this item if it will be used in a bed that is frequently slept in... unless you appreciate the feeling of scratchy material next to your skin as you sleep. see less

Just bought a regular twin mattress, 10" thick for our daughter. It has a pillow top, so I don't want any extra bulk, esp. since this is going on a daybed and I don't want another 1/2" of padding. It's like a Tyvek material, the stuff cleanup suits are made of with a thin fabric top. I like that it goes all the way around the mattress, which is important when kids can make messes that defy the laws of gravity. Also like that it keeps bugs and dust out. Wish it were about [$]cheaper though...it doesn't look like it will last a lifetime. see less

If one were to sleep with it they might not care for it really, it said it was 100 percent polyester. Also based on the photo, I thought it had some sort of sparkle to it, but it's more like purple with white intertwined. The picture is true to the color of purple, it looks the same in person as far as the purple goes. It's still pretty. The bad is that when I opened it, it smelled very bad. It reeked of chemicals. I have loved these sheets from day one, and 2 years later they are still in great shape, super soft. i have 2 dogs that sleep under the covers on the sheets and the occasional visit from a cat. there are no holes, tears, pilling, all dirt and spills have come right out in the wash. Yes, these sheets wrinkle! I am ok with this, most non-wrinkle fabric are finished in chemicals. If you can catch your sheets in the dryer right at the end of its cycle and throw your sheets on then, wrinkling will be greatly reduced. see less

Day I went into the store, queen-sized white sheets were at a premium, as in there were none. My choices were a brand, white on white stripes and the new, then, Threshold brand. So I took my chances. I love these sheets. My biggest complaint was that they wrinkled inordinately when washed. The first 2 times. Just finished washing them for the 3rd time, and while they're not smooth like polyester, they"re softer, lightly wrinkled, looking wonderful. I'll be buying a second set this week. To me, these sheets are like the ones my Mom used to dry on a clothsline in the backyard when I was a kid. I do love 'em. see less

I bought this comforter, queen size, about 2.5 years ago to use with a duvet cover. It's light and fluffy and not too warm like a down-filled comforter. It's the prefect weight for spring, summer, & fall. I add a down blanket to our bed in the winter. After all this time and numerous washings, I'm still just as happy with it as the day I bought it. I live in Maine where the winters are brutal. We joke that we have a week of spring, two weeks of summer, one week of Fall and the other 11 months winter. When I opened the blanket, I felt anxious at how light the blanket felt. Not wanting to get too discouraged, I tried it our with a linen duvet. Do not let the thickness fool you! In the past we have had to sleep with a quilt on top of the comforter, but not anymore. Lightweight but WARM. I freeze and my husband is a heater so it's hard to find something for the both of us. This blanket adjusted to each of our temperatures and we slept amazingly well. I forsee that this blanket will work during the summer months when we have the AC going as well as the rest of the year. Though I bought this on sale, I would totally buy it even if it's not. So sorry I waited so long with this on my wish loist and so happy I finally bought it! see less

I have had this comforter for 6 months now and I love it! It has held up great through multiple washes, at least 3 times a month. I live in Texas so it has been a blessing for the "winter nights" and the chilly summer nights. The construction has held up so well. There has been no bunching, loose strings, or shifting. On the 4 corners of the comforter there are places to attach the duvet from the inside, so that it does not move. I bought the full - queen comforter and it fit the queen duvet better. It did fit the full duvet but it was tight. I love my comforter so much that I ended up buying a comforter for all 3 beds in my home. I completely recommend this comforter! see less

[...] I ended up buying the grey stripe sheets and they look really great. Unlike the camel ones I bought before, these sheets actually fit my queen bed and I have a topper. It seems there is more pocket depth on these and even the pillow cases are a bit larger, which I like. People keep mentioning pilling and I have no idea what that is. I will say, I make my bed everyday. The sheets need to be pulled and tucked in. All sheets are going to wrinkle and move when you sleep on them! On a scale of 1 to 10 in softness, I would say they are probably about an 8. I would buy again and they look great with my grey [...] quilt. see less

Love these sheets. My mattress is 20" deep so it's hard to find sheets that will fit properly. These are to die for! Love the double elastic corners to insure no slippage. And, they are SO soft, almost silky feeling. I ordered Pale Willow and am so happy with them. Highly recommend and the sale price was a bonus! see less

These pillowcases are very soft, but the sizing is strange. After washing and drying, the end of the pillow sticks out the end because it is too short. One of the pillowcases was about an inch shorter than the other. The width, however, is about four inches too wide. These will be returned. see less

I get really hot at night, so this is great for me. It provides some warmth, but very lightweight.I was very happy with how smooth it is, but as NYCmomoftwogirls said, there is practically no comforter. I would suggest using a warm sheet. I really love it, it made my room look wonderful!! I always buy from xhilaration and would get it again. I picked a really nice microfiber green sheet with my bed and it coordinates perfectly!
