I already wrote a review on this but somehow it doesn't show to me. I love this shelf. It's heavy and durable. I actually enjoyed assembling it, too, with the way all the hardware was organized in little sections by steps. It's a great book shelf but I use it mostly for decor - in the living room it just filled up a stupid empty corner where nothing else would go. Highly recommend. By the way, my packaging was perfect and nothing was damaged. see less

I was a bit hesitant once I saw one star of a previous review but after I read it I realized I need to still buy one and rehabilitate its reputation. My package wasn't damaged and it was really heavy, which is good, because a piece of furniture like that, you want it stable and reliable. I enjoyed assembling it, too, because everything was such a good quality and all the hardware was packed in sections for part 1, 2 and so on of assembly. We had a corner in our living room that asked for something and this shelf just clicked in there. So ready to put some decor and books in it and it's ready to roll. I also appreciate that it has legs, because it's easier to run the wires behind it. It had a little scratch - paint off - on the top trim, but I decided it's not worth the hassle of return, nothing a little black sharpie couldn't fix. see less

not too happy with receiv ... see more

not too happy with receiving the product. After taking the pieces of the shelf out of the badly damaged box, I was surprised to see only 1 piece broken. I could have dealt with it if it was a crack in a shelf but it was the entire side/support. The corner was busted off and it had atleast 3 cracks in the middle of the wood. Will be returning and getting my money back. see less
