I was expecting a thin cotton fabric to use in my dau apt kitchen window. This is a lot prettier than I was expecting. It is a thick tapestry fabric lined with a white cotton/poly fabric. The rod pocket is about 2". The design is more off white in color so if you are looking for "white" you may not like. I am competely happy. This will really dress up the window...almost to fancy for an apt kitchen but we love it! Great quality for a fair price! see less

This valance is actually a dark cream color as opposed to the picture, where it looks black and white. The material is weak and somewhat see-through. When I got the package in the mail, valance came in with multiple pulls on it. The picture online is VERY deceiving! see less

I ordered these to match the bamboo tiers we had already. I had the tiers in green, so I ordered the matching valance, in green (same brand, all from target.com). When the valance arrived it was not green at all. Unlike the tiers, the valance was only ivory bamboo but said it was green on the box. So, I ended up returning the tiers and just keeping the valance. Despite that setback, the quality is very good, and they look very nice over our patio door. I wouldn't recommend trying to match colors unless you order them at the same time! see less

This valance is exactly as expected. A little heavy, so make sure you have the appropriate rod for hanging. I am using the Pineapple Rod to give a total tropical look to the room. see less

I just put them up and they are beautiful, I was worried about the color,and happy that they looked very close to the picture, maybe slightly lighter, over all they look great in my house and the quality is worth the price.(if you arewondering how many to order ,order extra they look better closer together just like the picture.) see less

I searched everywhere for grommet style bambo valances for my newly remodeled porch. When I spotted these online & tried to order, I was sad to see a "no longer available" message. Luckily, I checked again a few days later and was able to place an order. Must have just been temp out of stock? These are a great value. The rich dark/light tones compliment a bamboo bench & tower perfectly - another Target find from years ago. Two valances strung together appear as custom valance & work well for long slider windows. Can't go wrong with these! see less
