I have been looking for something affordable that I could use to add to what I already had... that didn't look cheap next to the nicer china. These dishes absolutely hold their own. They are a nice weight without being chunky, and the simple white dish with the raised beaded edge is both classic and timeless. I will add these dishes to my holiday table with pride. see less

I bought this set and loved it - it's a great, classic look and the white compliments just about any table setting. HOWEVER, after only owning this for about 2 months, I've noticed that the bowls are developing little yellowy/brown spots on them! Some spots are located near the beading, others on the smooth outside of the bowls themselves. I'm not sure what's going on here, but the white bowls discolor easily it seems. Yes, I dish wash and microwave them, but that should not be discoloring the product... I guess you get what you pay for. see less

This was a no brainer purchase for my son's apartment. This set is durable, yet lightweight. SPACE SAVING too - stacks in the cabinet beautifully.I love this pattern as it would compliment many different tabletops, in fact it would be the star of the show in a retro/diner themed kitchen.I own older Corelle...and much to my delight, the newer Corelle products are still as high quality as ever.Corelle can be expensive depending on where you shop. I needed to have dishes after my estranged spouse took ours. I did not want to spend much, and selected the Corelle. These are fantastic! A excellent feel to them, very relaxed kind of stuff - never have to figure out what any particular plate is for - and at the same time the simplicity of the style makes this very elegant stuff, with a coffee cup that holds a real cup of coffee. Quite happy with this purchase, and the price is just great. Target delivered these in very quick manner, as well.It is nice when you get real value and service for your money. see less

We saw the 4-pieces out on display and loved the look. So, we bought two boxes for 8 settings. The first box we opened was exactly what we expected... it was green. The second box we opened was blue. So, we checked the box to make sure that it was not the blue set. The box indicated that it was green. We made a second trip to Target that same day and bought another box only to find that it was also did not match the display and first box that we purchased. They do not look the same. I am hoping that we will have some success finding a second set that will match the first one. Otherwise, we will have to return them. The 2nd and 3rd box matched fine together except that they were blue ...regardless of the fact that the box said green. Which i could attach a picture to show you how different they are in color... Beware, insist on seeing the entire set out of box before trying to buy two boxes as a set. see less

I haven't purchased these dishes yet but I did go into the store and look at them. They are sold in sets as well as seperately. Out of 3 dinner plates they had on the shelf that were sold seperately, one was very light green, one was very dark green and one was very blue green. They didn't even look like they belonged together. The stack of bowls were so blue they didn't look like they matched any of the plates. I'm wondering how well the different peices in the boxed set will be. Since I need two boxes, I'm also wondering if there will be a difference between boxed sets. If I do decide to purchase these I will update this review. I found the dishes to be quite heavy and they seemed sturdy in the store. They are very beautiful. I think I would be pleased with them if I can get them to match. The fact that the glaze color is so different in so many different dishes tells me they may be of poor quality. see less

I've had this set for nearly 5 years now - I got it moving into my first apartment. These dishes have held up amazingly through the years - I've had plenty of roommates! They have been mostly hand-washed until more recently, but they show no signs of wear from the dishwasher. One bowl recently cracked - I think someone put it in the toaster oven or used it as a lid for steaming - and I am so happy to see they are still available! I also didnt want plastic, and I wanted something that was microwave safe, even if we dont microwave a whole lot. Anyway. we actually bought these from another popular department store, but now we are registering for our wedding, I still want these for our casual / everyday plates and bowls, and was so happy to find them here. 2 things. the coffee cups are useless to us - far too small, and they just sit in the back of the cupboard. I don't really like the color either. My FI broke a bowl. I was very mad. He dropped it from about counter height, and it shattered. So, don't drop them. I have dropped the plates, no breakages, but the bowl wasn't as lucky. They are very sturdy, and the pattern isn't nearly as tacky looking in person as it is in the picture. My boyfriend and I had been using my, ehem, divorced parents' wedding-present-dinnerware from the early 80s and asked for new dinnerware for Christmas for about a hundred obvious reasons. Not that I don't just love olive green and orange floral, but these pieces are gorgeous. Every item is unique because of the glazing technique. The dishes feel solid and durable and the contrast of the matte brown and tan swirled glaze with the glossy white is very attractive. The sizes and proportions are spot-on. Looove this set. see less

Although I love the large mugs and bowls and the bowls even work as family style serving dishes for my family of 3, the bowls will take up a lot of cabinet space for those that have limited cabinet space, like me. I grew up eating off plain white Corelle and swore when I grew up I would have "fancy" dishes. Now, 3 kids later, I know my mom is a genius. My stoneware was cracked, broken, and ridiculously heavy. My kids had to eat off plastic plates, which is pretty ironic when I think about it. I broke down and ordered these at Christmas. They are so fun and now my kids can eat off real plates without fear of chipping them. I wish I had ordered more than 16 place settings. They take up half the stacking space as my stoneware. Just purchased 2 more sets of these (was SO happy that they still carried the same pattern!), and was amazed that my old ones, after possibly 1,000 times through the dishwasher, looked EXACTLY the same as the new ones, NO fading or signs of wear! I had been eyeballing this set every time I went to Target because my current set of stoneware was starting to look bad. Too many chips. I purchased two 16 pc. sets from Target. I bought them because I liked the style, they matched my kitchen and I was familiar with the durability of Corelle products. The very FIRST day we used the set, the plate my daughter was using cracked in half while she was eating dinner off of it. I could not believe it. The next day, I called the customer service number, told them what happened and they are shipping a new plate right to me. It has a 3 year warranty. Customer Service told me it was a fluke and probably was damaged somehow prior to me bringing it home. They said it is extremely unusual for a Corelle product to do this. After all, they do have a 3 year warranty. Not many products today can offer that type of quality. Anyway, I would totally recommend this product and I'm telling the story just in case it happens to anyone else. see less

I love the design which is not that complex. I'm just a bit disappointing because the color of the patterns is not really red- just light red. Nearly 4 years later - received as a wedding gift - I still adore this set. They're beautiful, sturdy, and heavy. The lip on the plates helps keep the food ON the plate too instead of it just sliding off. But, there are a few issues. They break easier than other plates I've had. Not super easy, but give it a good drop, or handle it funny in the sink and they will break. Pretty much don't let young kids use them. The other issue is that these don't microwave well. They get HOT... to the point where you could stand to use an oven mitt when handling them. However, they do clean up beautifully in the dish washer. The first set I received in the mail had several broken pieces. The shipping department didn't package these well at all so they banged around in the box during transport. I really do love the color, and style of these plates. I would purchase these again just based on the look of the set. see less
