I have three daughters, two are almost 8 and one is almost 5, and they all love thier dolls. My eldest daughter absolutely loves horses. So when Grandpa sent her birthday money, she wanted to get something for her doll. At first she'd had her heart set on the Jeep, until she saw the horses and wanted to know if she had enough. She did and this is the one she chose. My husband and I were very impressed at the quality. It's nothing like I had when I was a girl. It was a little complicated to get out of the package, but all of my children LOVE it. My daughter has played with nothing else since. She doesn't have an Our Generation Girl, she has another brand, but it works just fine with this horse. Now my other girls want one, so they're added to the Wish Lists. see less

I bought this in hopes that it would work with our kitchen table, which has a 3" thick butcherblock top. It seemed there was more space for it to clip than the alternative from the "big name" in 18" dolls. Unfortunately, our table is still too thick. What a shame, because my daughter was SO excited to have McKenna eat at the table with us. If it weren't for that, we would have kept this in a heartbeat. I am buying very nice 18 in. dolls for my 2 granddaughters for Christmas. The dolls will be traveling with the girls by plane across country so I want the dolls to be protected. Many/most doll carriers offer little to no protection for the doll, especially the face, which is the most important part. This doll carrier has plastic over the heart shaped opening on the front and a sturdy woven band, closed with Velcro, on the inside that fastens around the doll's middle. The [Retailer] carrier actually has a rectangular opening right in front of the doll's face....unbelievable. Anyway, this carrier is the best one I could find to protect the doll while traveling. Also, it's not too big or heavy for the girls to carry themselves. see less

I was worried that it wouldn't be the same quality and she would be disappointed. I haven't seen the AG one in person, but this one is great quality, and after 3 months she is still playing with it. my two twin 8 year old daughters got this horse and a foul from our generation for their 8th birthday. its a way better value then the american girl horses. and another plus the packing can be used as a little stable place for it, or open it up, put a couple together and you got a bigger stable. over all great product for all 18' dolls see less

My daughter received this horse for Christmas. She was very excited and has been playing with it often. The horse is beautiful and fits the AG dolls. Because my daughter is almost 5, I didn't want to invest in an expensive horse. Glad I didn't. I feel like the quality and price far exceeds AG. At the sale price, I was able to buy 2 different Our Generation horses for less than one AG horse. If you are looking for soft fur, it isn't there, but I see this quality as one less thing to worry about tearing. It is a great horse for play and a 5 year old likes play. I do think the horse looks nicer than the online picture shows. see less

I bought this outfit for Sandie, and there is no way my 7 nor 5 yr olds can get it on Sandie or any AG doll. The pants are impossible to pull up, they can't get the boots on, and the socks unravel at the top. If you can get the pants on, there is no way the doll can sit on the horse, because the pants are too tight. Outfit looked cute, but terrible quality, you get what you pay for. see less

This set is great for girls who are learning to sew! This was purchased for a 12 year old girl who loves to sew. It is for the AG dolls. It comes with so many items. The thimble is adorable because it really goes on the doll's finger. Our only issue was that the pin braclet scratched the AG's wrist, which is very upsetting because it's a new , [$$$] dollar doll! This a super adorable accessory for your 18" doll. I love the colors and helmet. We have not had any problems with wheels turning and it seems like pretty durable plastic to me. The dog friends are cute and we love that it comes with a long leash that fits like a bracelet around your doll's wrist. However you get what you pay for in that its just a plastic toy covered in fuzz, same fuzz like [...]. Once it gets scratched enough, the fuzz will rub off and it attracts lint. If you do decide to purchase, a damp cloth, tape, or a lint roller with remove the lint from the dog. If you can get this at a decent price and have a child who takes good care of their things, then this is worth it. Otherwise save your money to put towards a pair of shoes, hat, or other small accessories for your doll. see less

My daughter saw the more expensive retired name brand one online and thought it was cute, so when saw this on Target's website I knew I had to find one. The problem was that no stores near us had it. So after calling around, I found it in a store about an hour and a half away and had them hold it. I am so glad I did. My little girl received it for Christmas and loved it! It us very well made. A ton of little accessories. The only issue for us is that the jeep we purchased does not have a hitch, so will have to research that a bit more. If you are lucky enough to find one, don't hesitate to buy one! see less

When my Dad picked it up for us in a store an hour and a half away, that was the only one that had it, he was looking for the doll that him and my Mom were going to get her and there were many women stopping and looking at it and saying how cool it was. Luckily though there was a lady right next to him who was telling everyone it was my Dad's. He happened to have to go get it on Black Friday, poor guy. It has so many cute accessories and features. It would have been nice for them to show that the hitch that attaches to the jeep is all in the r.v. When we opened the jeep first we were disappointed thinking the two weren't going to connect since there was no hitch on the jeep. My daughter has had hours of fun with these toys already! see less

We bought this chair for my daughters two years ago. They are not exactly careful with it, and it has held up very well! It still looks like new and nothing has broke on it. The version we have didn't have a strap to hold the dolls in, so my daughters simply tied a ribbon onto the chair and around the doll. I see the current version comes with a seatbelt, which is a nice touch. I highly recommend this product. see less

This chair is amazing. My little sister has American Girl dolls and she loves it. It's about half the price of the American Girl Doll Salon Chair and it comes with two clips, a pair of "scissors", a brush that works wonders on her doll's hair, a "hairdryer", a "straightening iron" and a "spray bottle". I could not be more pleased with this product. It is a great product for an even greater price. It even moves up and down! I loved this product. I just wish the back was a little lower because the chair makes a ripple in my sister's doll's hair. Otherwise, this product rocks. Must have for any doll! see less

I purchased this for my 6 year old to use with her AG doll. I feel it's just a mediocre toy. The price is what first attracted me as it is way cheaper than AG doll accessories. This toy comes with many pieces, but not all pieces are useful. Perhaps I misunderstood what this toy was as I assumed it was for little girls to use in their doll's hair. However, many of the pieces are sized more for a doll's hand than a child's-scissors, curling iron, flat iron. Also, the rollers seem useless as we can't seem to get them in the doll's hair and the few times we do, they don't stay long. Regardless, my daughter still enjoys the toy and that's the most important thing. see less

This is a great travel case for my daughter's Our Generation or American Girl dolls. She was so excited when she opened it. Even better, it was her favorite color lilac/purple. The pockets inside & the strap to hold the doll in place are great for packing her doll & accessories for a visit or overnight stay with friends or going to Gramma's house. I got two of these for my girls to carry their new 18-inch dolls and they are just perfect! We have only had them for a month, but they seem to be sturdy enough for regular-kid use. The size -and trendy patterns!- are just great for my toddlers, and it's so smart to put the backpack-type straps on the back! They love to carry their dolls back and forth to grandma's, and I love that they keep their dolls protected when traveling. I got them on sale before Christmas. I think that is definitely the way to go value wise if your child likes tea parties with her dolls. the play food is a nice sturdy rubber plastic. The little cookie box is plastic and very cute. I wish the tea bags were more than little pieces of cardboard and a paper bag to put them in. A tiny tea box with cloth tea bags would have been cute. One of my girls got this horse for her birthday last year. She LOVES it still, and it has been almost a year. It is adorable with lots of accessories too. It is super durable, too, saying that my children ride on it themselves and it has held up. And my girls are about 40 lbs each. The only negative is that it has a LOT of dings, so the paint or whatever was used to color it is a bit cheap or not as durable. But other then that a great toy for your child's 18" doll. see less

My daughter, who rides horses, was excited to receive it so she would have supplies for her horses. However, the stirrups on both our "Our Generation" horses/saddles are not removable & are permanently attached. I didn't notice it till we tried to change them. We have the Tennessee Walking Horse & older one. Which leaves me to wonder why this set comes with replacement stirrups if you can't use them for their horses. I wish it came with some other horse tack supplies for the price of the set. Such as a horse blanket, bridle/bridle accessories, saddle pad, pretend hoof oil can, etc. The booklet is super tiny & the hat is actually a helmet cover if you happen to have the helmet. But my daughter loves being able to add the boots/leg wraps to her horse, the tail bag, the boots for her doll and pretending with the hoof pick. I just think there should be more for the price tag & the stirrups should be replaced with something useful. see less
