great to add to the collection of monster high. I realize this doll release was at an ealier date & is more from the original line. I think thats why it was a little harder to find. But find I did and for a very reasonable price. These are played with kids ages 4 thru 8 on an almost daily basis. In spite of their more delicate design I find these dolls hold up quite well. Also with their interchangeable limbs it makes it possible to retrofit them should there be loss or damage. I cant say that about most dolls. see less

My daughters already own this set and I was excited to see Gloom Beach advertised only to be disappointed by learning it wasn't the true Gloom Beach set. Little Dead Riding Wolf is pretty cool. I wish they would have given her a little pet wolf to be part of this character. I have been looking daily online with no luck and found it on the shelf thanks to a co worker telling me Target had two. I thought for sure they would be gone until I got there the following morning. I got this for my daughter for Christmas, she wanted a table/chair set and a tea set for her doll. I compared this item against individual table sets and tea sets and it was a better value even without considering a doll was included. Overall this entire set has been a big hit and the doll was a great bonus my daughter did not expect. My only complaint is the table and chairs are a little cheaper construction than I expected, however, for the price it's fine and as long as it holds up, I'm satisfied. see less

Our set came as pictured in an Our Generation box. Doll is pretty but has the same quality of hair as the other dolls from this brand that requires regular and gentle detangling. Its best to tie hair back or put in braids to keep from having too many tangles or losing too much hair to get them out. Plastic tea set is cute but highly recommend with the small pieces, some are rubber and the size of a dime, this set be given to children who are beyond putting toys in their mouths to avoid a choking hazard. Table and chairs also made of plastic with lovely details just as the tea set. Be careful with tabletop. Appears if too much pressure is put on it - child leans on it, too much weight put on it, left on floor to be stepped on, etc. that it could crack and or break. This shouldn't be a problem if this is explained before play. Overall this is a great set for the value and if taught to be treated with care and respect, will have a long play life. see less

Compared to similar Brand Named items or even to other web stores that sell OG, this was an excellent deal. The items are made of plastic not wood, but they look great. All the MH furniture is well made compared to the dolls needing a softer touch. However, this bed lacks the intricate details all the other MH pieces tend to have, but Abbey herself is one you can't help but love like the uniqueness of the other characters. Its nice, but not THE nicest by a longshot. Less valuable, but definitely one to collect if you like displaying your dolls in their respective scenery like we do. Our 1st MH buy was for my daughters b'day, my mother & I fell IN LOVE w/the durability of the pieces in the Clawdeen/Coffin Bean set. Despite tiny pieces, the sets we've acquired thus far i.e. Cleo's Vanity, Draculaura's Powder Room, Ghoulia's Scooter, and Frankies Vanity....have proven to have like appeal and GREAT VALUE. As an adult that never collected dolls as a little girl, my daughter has admittedly made me fall in love to now collect my favorites dolls and sets. Enjoy! It seemed there was more space for it to clip than the alternative from the "big name" in 18" dolls. Unfortunately, our table is still too thick. What a shame, because my daughter was SO excited to have McKenna eat at the table with us. If it weren't for that, we would have kept this in a heartbeat. I have three daughters, two are almost 8 and one is almost 5, and they all love thier dolls. My eldest daughter absolutely loves horses. So when Grandpa sent her birthday money, she wanted to get something for her doll. At first she'd had her heart set on the Jeep, until she saw the horses and wanted to know if she had enough. She did and this is the one she chose. My husband and I were very impressed at the quality. It's nothing like I had when I was a girl. It was a little complicated to get out of the package, but all of my children LOVE it. My daughter has played with nothing else since. She doesn't have an Our Generation Girl, she has another brand, but it works just fine with this horse. Now my other girls want one, so they're added to the Wish Lists. see less

I am buying very nice 18 in. dolls for my 2 granddaughters for Christmas. The dolls will be traveling with the girls by plane across country so I want the dolls to be protected. Many/most doll carriers offer little to no protection for the doll, especially the face, which is the most important part. This doll carrier has plastic over the heart shaped opening on the front and a sturdy woven band, closed with Velcro, on the inside that fastens around the doll's middle. The [Retailer] carrier actually has a rectangular opening right in front of the doll's face....unbelievable. Anyway, this carrier is the best one I could find to protect the doll while traveling. Also, it's not too big or heavy for the girls to carry themselves. see less

As some previous reviews mention, I had trouble getting 3 of the 8 screws into their pre-drilled holes. Fortunately, I had it delivered to my parents house so I could pick it up as I passed through on my way to the recipient's house and Dad solved it for me. Along the inside on the end of each "side" is what looks like a plastic screw head, it is in fact a guide for the screw to follow into the hole (good engineering according to Dad). The problem was that 3 of these guides were too far in blocking the path. He easily used a longer, thinner screw to move them into their proper position and the screws easily went into their holes.I, personally, didn't like that the ladder didn't have a way to attach to the beds, but the 6 year old that received the gift not only didn't mind but her doll used the ladder to get into the bottom bunk as well - so much for what adults think. see less

Because my daughter is almost 5, I didn't want to invest in an expensive horse. Glad I didn't. I feel like the quality and price far exceeds AG. At the sale price, I was able to buy 2 different Our Generation horses for less than one AG horse. If you are looking for soft fur, it isn't there, but I see this quality as one less thing to worry about tearing. It is a great horse for play and a 5 year old likes play. I bought this on Black Friday when it was on sale at the store for [$] This is normally priced at [$] where I am at. So far I have no complaints about this set. The dress fits my 2 year old and she LOVES that she matches her babydoll. The only reason why I see this being for 3 and up is maybe because of the crown on her head is on loosely and the shoes come off, but unless your child is good with things like these just put them away for when she's older. This doll is made of good quality and the hair is perfect, she even has the brown piece of hair in the back just like in the movies! If you're worried about the hair being messy all the time, I just braid her hair in a pony tail and it's fine. You can use detangler and a hairbrush to get out and knots if any appear. I will say this doll has survived through the playground, bedtime, bathtime, and more. I'm EXTREMELY happy with this purchase. I'll probably end up buying the other sets for my little princess! see less

Got this doll/dress for my daughter's 4th birthday and she loves it. I had to braid the dolls hair but my daughter wanted to. The dress was a bit short and as much as she loves to dress up when we leave the house, this is one dress she is unable to wear outside of the home due to its length. I love the lalaloopsy dolls in general. They are cute and fun. I gave one to my 5 year old daughter for christmas and she loves her so much. I did notice that her hair does turn pink even when the doll just gets warm. Her outfits are very cute. I love that she can be a mermaid or just wear her swimming suit. Got this Lalaloopsy Mermaid for my granddaughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. Lala Mermaid's hair turns a beautiful pink when she goes in the tub, but back to purple when she dries off. The granddaughter wants to live in the tub with this beautiful mermaid. The head does get water in it and there is a small drain hole in the base of the head, near her neck. I thought I had drained/squirted all of the water from her head immediately, but picked her up a couple of days later, shook her head and still lots of water there. I wish her head was water-tight or easier to drain completely. I'm hoping she doesn't develop disgusting bacteria in her head after a few months. I would still recommend this doll, love the bathing suit and mermaid outfit. excellent quality and lots of good clean fun see less
