It is just the perfect size and super easy to put together. It took us about 15 minutes to put it together. The door to the refrigerator has a pretend ice maker on it and opens to show 2 shelves on the inside to place items. The oven door also opens to allow them to place things inside there as well. There are 2 little yellow bins that can be placed on the shelves. They are for Recycling and the Veggies. I love the concept that it teaches kids how to recycle. It then has a little sink with a faucet and 2 knobs for the water. Next to the sink is a stove with burners. One sounds like water boiling and the other sounds like a sizzling sound. My kids think that is awesome!! It also comes with a pretend coffee pot and lots of accessories too. It has a picture frame that is attached that you can place your very own photo in. The description included said seats 6 but I could not imagine seating six toddlers let alone 6 older children at this table. It is sturdy enough to hold weight and wipes clean easily with a damp cloth. I like the two drink holders at the center of the table because it keeps cups in place from spilling or tipping over when they are eating at the table or playing. Our 3.5 yo daughter loves her new Critter Clinic. We gifted this to her, along with two fun electronic puppies. In the recent weeks, she has been creative with making her own pretend puppies and medical gear, so this was a great surprise for her to have the real stuff... so to speak. She immediately unlocked all the doors with the correct keys, and placed each item in the door of her liking. The stethoscope twisted too uncomfortable for her to wear in her ears, but not to worry, because we showed her how to wear it on her neck comfortably and pretend to hear thumping heartbeats from dolls to mommy and daddy. She doesn't mind the difference at all. The best part is that it has kept her attention for hours on end, which is unusual without our/her demanding interactive play with her every minute.... yay! This is adorable! My daughter is almost 8 months old and she is thrilled to press the buttons, spin the mouse, open and close the lid. It's truly a toy that will grow with her as it teaches her colors, shapes, numbers, letters... The volume is good, not too loud, but definitely clear and easy to understand, even the Spanish. I pull it out when I am going to be on my laptop and we "work" together. I can tell she likes doing what mommy is doing. My only disappointment is that the numbers and letters are not very clear on the little screen. Perhaps if the dots had been smaller and there had been more of them to create clearer lines, but she is still hearing the numbers and seeing them on the buttons so it's not a complete visual loss. I will also say it is a terrific size and weight. She can pick it up easily and will be able to carry it around, using the handle, once she starts walking. Definitely worth the investment. see less

It also has a "working" burner, when you place the pan on it it lights up & sizzles and it lights up and makes a boiling sound when the pot is placed on it. It also has a microwave & phone w/ working number keys and sounds. For all of the little extras that it has, it is also very compact & doesn't take up too much room in the playroom. Only complaint is mine was missing some pieces. I had to call mfg to get them sent & they needed some #'s off of the box it was shipped in, so be sure to save the box until you know you have all the pieces. I've had this for 2.5 years and since I saw this before we got it I knew its size. I love having this little table! If you already have a preschooler or more than one child this may not suit you. I bought this with my first daughter when she was one. For the next year and a half, when it wasn't set up for outside play it was set up in our kitchen for her to eat lunch or snacks. It was perfect for our small kitchen and cleaned up very well. For the past year we haven't needed this is the kitchen, so this table has sat outside as a craft/play table through a snowy winter and scorching desert summer. It has not faded or become brittle. I plan on taking this camping next week, since it folds up it's easy to pack and makes a great "kid station". Now there's a little sis and it will be able to handle both girls' play for awhile yet! If you are just growing IN to this, go for it. If you're already worried about growing OUT of this, there's a bigger sized table available. see less

Just purchased this table from our local Target and boxed it right back up after assembling it. It's MUCH smaller than the measurements given on the site. There is no way 4 children could sit at this table and do anything other than sit. It was too small for my 4 year old and 18 month old! It's also almost IMPOSSIBLE to fold up. This toy looked like so much fun. My son loved it for about the first 5 minutes, then the ball shooter piece fell apart, I mean all the plastic seams just started to separate! It's pitiful. There is no way to patch that, then even the balls are all splitting at the seams and breaking in half. The Spaceship part the kids love though, it's all inflatable like those kinds you can use in a pool or something, and the backpack is inflatable, a bit bulky and doesn't stay on too well but my son still plays with it, he just can' shoot the balls, So other than the hard plastic parts (the red ball shooter piece and the balls) it's not too bad, but I got it cause I knew my kids would love the ball shooting part, and my son was pretty bummed when it only lasted about 5 minutes. So if you like the backpack part and the space ship then its great, but don't count on the shooter part. see less

My son received this for his 4th birthday, and the ship popped a hole the next day. He was not jumping up and down on it, nor was it poked with anything. He fell on the inflated side while climbing in, and by that evening, it was deflated. This toy encourages imaginative play which can't help but get active at times, and this toy is definitely not designed to withstand much activity! We liked the different themed walls because they lend themselves to greater possiblities for imaginative play. We love to have slam dunk contests and kick/roll the ball into the soccer goal. My 2 year old daughter(2 in Nov) received this Nursery Center as a Christmas gift. She loves to put her babies in the high chair to feed them. She likes the changing table and loves to put water in the sink. I think her favorite part is the washer/dryer. She loves to put her baby blankets and baby clothes in it. The only problem with this nursery is that the door to the washer and dryer is hard for her to open and we have to help her with it sometimes. As she gets older I don't think she will have a problem with the door. We have had several other nursery centers that we picked up at yard sales etc.. but in my opinion this one is the best on the market. We use it for breakfast and then bring it out to the living room to play on. It's easy to clean which is great when you have two messy toddlers. Purchased this kitchen for our daughter this Christmas. I (her mother) took it out of our van, where it was hiding, early Christmas morning, by myself (using her wagon, lol) brought it inside and set it up with just the use of a screwdriver (well several sizes are needed, like a tiny one for putting the batteries in phone, light, etc.) It took me a little over an hour to put together. Don't know why so many people have so much trouble putting it together, purhaps it's just a patients issue with them ; ) As for the kitchen itself, cute as can be! It was just PERFECT sized for our 2.5 year old with plenty of "growing" room. The counter height is about 20 inches from the ground so it comes a little above her waist. I watch a 1.5 year old little boy and it comes to about 4 inches or so above his waist yet he can still play with the kitchen easy enough, that little turd is playing with it right now, lol, he likes to take all the drawers and empty them, now hes playing with the microwave, putting things in and out and pressing the buttons, he can just barely reach standing on his tippytoes. Oh and the storage is awesome!! Plenty of room for all the stuff it came with, which is alot! Grandma purchased more pots and pans which wasn't even needed! I do recommend more play food as we purchase more, but it does come with enough to get you started. I think the stove is cute, when you put the deep pot on it it makes a boiling sound and when you put the frying pan on it stays quite until you add some food and then it makes a fry noise. see less

I am a home daycare provider, with 2 small children of my own - and ALL of the kids LOVE this playhouse... including a rather tall 3 1/2 year old, who can stand up just fine in it.
