Little one got this kitchen for Christmas. She's 16 months and just starting to get into pretend play, so I wasn't sure how much use she'd get out of it right away. But as soon as she saw it, she fell in love. I've noticed that she also is much more curious about what I'm doing when I cook. We put her in the high chair with the toy version of the same tools I'm using, and she copies me. This kitchen is great quality, and absolutely adorable. It took my husband about 2 hrs to put together, and I don't see any indication that the doors are going to fall off. Wondering if they might have re-designed it since some of the previous reviews that commented about them. They're the same material as the kitchen itself, and the screws and hinges seem to be durable. This kitchen is the perfect size for young toddlers, and I know she's going to have fun with it for years to come. see less

I had been searching for a play kitchen for my 2 girls, 5 and 18 months, for over 6 months. After hearing great things about this brand from a friend, I then spotted this one on Target.com, only to find out that it was sold out. Targets price was much better than what was offered on [...]. After checking weekly for it to be back in stock, I ordered it and received it within a week. It is durable, adorable, and girls of both ages love it. Only catch is it took 3 to 4 hours to assemble. Not difficult, just time consuming. However, that is expected for items like this and there are so many great cabinets, knobs, switches. We also enjoyed assembling it with our 5 year old so she could see how it would eventually come together and feel a part of it. A little pricey, but more reasonable than most out there. Plus, I used my Target card to save 5 percent and got free delivery. We LOVE this kitchen. see less

I purchased this online for my 2 year old granddaughter for Christmas in 2011. When the box arrived, it was pretty small so I knew in was going to be in a million pieces and IT WAS. It took her Papa and Grand Pop about 3 hours to put together . . . but it is put together like a piece of furniture which means it is very durable and will last forever. She went nuts when she woke up and seen it. For now, it sits in my kitchen so that when I'm cooking . . . . she can cook too! We absolutely love it. see less

This kitchen was given to my daughter as a Christmas gift. She plays with it every day and it has held up great. The only issue that we have with it is that the Kid Kraft name is upside down in one of the logos on the front of the set. It is kind of odd but it is at the bottom of the set so we decided it was not worth worrying over. Got a great deal on this kitchen so it was worth the money I paid. see less

The granite countertop and backsplash is awesome and different from the normal plastic kitchens. It was on sale for [$] and VERY WELL WORTH IT! I would purchase it all over again. If you are thinking about purchasing one, YOU CANNOT GO WRONG! I also purchased the stainless steel pots and 125 piece food set which fits perfectly for this set. If you think it's gorgeous in the picture, just wait till you see it in person. I absolutely love this kitchen set. My two children 2&3 play all day with this. It's really come in handy. My husband and his friend took two hours to put it together, then I did a few odds and ends. It is very self explanatory. Just time consuming. The kitchen is very sturdy and heavy, thankfully. That's exactly what I was looking for. And everything on their hinges seems as if they will stay in tact for a long while. I love this kitchen, and my children may love it even more, if possible! see less

This little kitchen has just been wonderful! I was worried about purchasing something that was new and not yet had any reviews but now I get to tell you about it! It was very easy to put together. My son and I did it ourselves in about 3 hours with a few breaks inbetween. I love the size! So many kitchens I looked at were so short but this one is high enough that my toddler daughter will be able to play with it for a long time and her older brothers can play with her! If you have rowdy kids, you may want to stick to a plastic kitchen because I can see the doors coming off if a child was to hang on them or play too rough but for us it is just perfect!Overall I think this kitchen is SO adorable and a great price. You feel like you get your money out of the quality and size. I am very thankful we decided to purchase this one! see less

I was expecting a little tea kettle but this thing almost looks funny setting on the Prairie Kitchen, which I bought for Christmas. It is made out of wood and is kinda heavy for a small child. Don't know if I would buy this again, it's a little pricey for an oversized toy that looks akward for the kitchen it was spose to be for. But it is an excellent quality toy. Made nicely. I looked in stores for a cute dish set and couldn't find any that were durable or even worth the money. I ordered this dish set online, hoping it would be what I was looking for. It more than surpassed my expectations ... it was perfect! The colors are so cute! The set is extremely durable and the plates are a perfect size for several pieces of fake food. It's not very long or deep so it fits great in our smaller space. The colors are very girly...pink, blue purple and my daughter loves that about it. Took us about 3 hours to put together because of all the screws. Small plastic clip that holds doors shut broke during assembly so be careful. It seems very sturdy and stable and I'm just noticing it's made by KidKraft and they make the best wooden kitchens. I am very happy with this purchase for [$]. we got this kitchen for our 2 year old, as her main christmas present. it took 3 hours to put together. we had to take a break and we broke a peice but you cant even tell. it just bothers me that the burners are pictures and not real ones. OH and the oven opens to the side and not down. its the right height for her. it would have been a LOT easier to build top to bottom. it would have saved a lot of time...but we LOVE it!! the main reason we got this one was because you can buy it at the store and save [$] on shipping. i want to give it to her now!! see less

We got this for our daughter for Christmas, she got the KidKraft kitchen from Santa. It has held up very well. It's all made of wood, heavy duty, and all around cute. My only complaint, much like the other review, the yellow button on the side, that releases the leaver so the toast pops up, is super hard to push. When you do get it to release you have to make sure no little hands are on the leaver as it pops up with a bit more force and stings a bit when getting hit by it.Other then that little problem, it's a great toy and I'm buying another one for my cousin's child for their birthday. see less

My kids LOVE this toy! It is really wonderful. They have so much fun cutting the fruit (velcro) that I plan on purchasing more cuttable food for Christmas! Everything is very durable and well made except for the stickers (Blender "buttons"). Thankfully, I caught on to it before the kids did. I was able to Mod Podge (sp?) it and that did the trick! The buttons are now sealed and I don't have to worry about them pealing the stickers off. Why didn't the manufaturer just do that in the first place? see less
