I was given this dutch oven as a Christmas gift, and I absolutely love it! The non-stick really IS non-stick, but that's no coating that will scrape off. The oven is heavy and sturdy, and I love the transparent lid. The size is perfect, too. I may not have picked this one out for myself, but I'm glad my mom did! see less

I love this thing! I had wanted a pretty le-creuset dutch oven, but couldn't afford one. I recently started baking my own no-knead bread and the recipe calls for a dutch oven, so i borrowed this one from a friend. It's great! It is pretty dang heavy, but it makes the most perfect bread! My husband is going right now to get one of our own. I haven't tried anything other than bread, but I'm excited to try chili's and soups in this thing! see less

I had wanted one of the cute enameled ones, but received this as a gift from my grandmother as a wedding present. Her philosophy was that the enameled ones may look good, but they will eventually chip, so why bother? Anyways, turns out that I do just love this one. Makes lovely loaves of bread, pots of soup, just everything. see less

Make sure to read the instructions and never use higher then medium heat and I usually have to turn heat down lower. Cooks from bottom and up the sides, so it seems food cooks so much faster. I've made casseroles, baked beans, soups, chili and wouldn't be surprised if I could bake a cake to perfection. They clean up instantly, no scraping or scubbng. Can be used in oven, but it's worked so well with everything on the stovetop, why turn on he oven. see less
