Living in a townhouse that didnt have a firepalce iove to watch a fire. It puts of great heat in the main room that I use. It was easy to assemble by my self. I would suggest for the price is was a great buy! see less

After 2 mths. of researching similar products (for a considerable $ amount more than this unit), I decided that this one was perfect for my needs. I took advantage of an existing sale, plus free shipping, thus am extremely pleased with the price. It arrived within 6 days, was absolutely flawless, assembled realatively easy (3 hrs.) & is truly a beautiful addition to our home. The unit is quite sturdy, & yes, the 'fire' is artificial, but I've seen a lot worse 'fake'. Our unit is quiet in operation, and after 10 record breaking cold days in Southwest Florida, the fireplace really puts out some heat. I've highly recommended this item to my friends - 'JUST LOVE IT'!!! see less
