I am not a fan of the leather handles that hang out when the hard tray is turned up but they are pictured and I knew they were there. The small cubes are smaller than I imagined and one of the feet was broken off when I opened it - they are cheap plastic and I imagine would break off if a heavier person sat on them but I am very happy with the look and quality overall, would recommend!! see less

I put this together by myself the other morning.The bookcase is sturdy and well made, labeled very clearly, and the hardware was arranged in small packets according to direction's steps. Take your time. The only beef I had was with the locking pin and lock devices. You drop a circular lock into a hole and its corresponding bolt is tapped into its hole. HOwever, sometimes they dont jibe, because the lock's holes are drilled too deeply. I would highly recommend after step three to tap in the bolt, put the pieces in contact, and THEN insert the locking hoobyjiggy thingamabob. This way, you can turn it and make it surround the bolt instead of blindly trying to put the bolt into the lock. Other than that, it's great. Enjoy see less

Many reviews noted a chemical smell.. I did not have that problem with the black one I bought. I know how to put most things together but, I did need a second set of hands to hold a few things. I originally bought the teal one online but, it was too shiny and plastic looking when it arrived. I was nervous about having to exchange it in stores as Target is sometimes picky with returns. But, they gave me no trouble and I purchased the black one and couldn't be happier. It is big enough to put a small lamp and decor on top and the inside holds more then I thought it would. What I like best about it is its not too wide so it doesn't get in way entry walking space. The black looks more expensive then it actually is. see less

I'll add to the cautions- When attaching the door, don't tighten up the screws until all 4 screws are in place, otherwise it's hard to get them to align. Add a drop of wood glue to the dowel holes- they're a tad loose. Use a power screwdriver, carefully, to attached the top- then there's no need to drill pilot holes. Yes, the back panel is 2 pieces held together with a wide piece of colored duct tape. Pretty tacky. But once you've attached the back panels -with screws, nice touch- you can remove the duct tape. Or just leave it because you never see it if you place the cabinet against a wall. see less

Bought this cabinet for our TV components, TV is hung on wall, it looks great in our family room! Super easy to assemble, I put it together in about 25 minutes. The hardware is in handy step by step compartments, that was cool. My husband noticed the smell before he noticed the cabinet when he walked in the door. I didn't realize it until I walked out of the house and back in... it does stink! It's only been a day, I wiped it down several times with cleaner, that didn't help. I was confused for the day before UPS delivered my table I was visiting a Target store and they had the table which I was sure was the table I ordered online. Target advertises the table as an online purchase only so maybe in reality they are the same table from different manufacturers. The online table being the better quality table. The package arrived two days earlier than the expected delivery date in my order confirmation. No missing pieces at all, but one did have some white missing on the edge and the inside particleboard was showing--about a 1-inch square section--but that portion wouldn't be visible unless you lie on the floor and look at the underside of the desk, so I didn't take issue with that. The desk was very simple to assemble by myself and probably took less than an hour to do so. I do wish I had reinforced the wooden dowels with wood glue as some parts were wobbly during assembly, but after the whole piece was put together it felt a lot more solid. Would I sit on it? No. But it does a great job as a desk--which is exactly what I wanted. After building was complete, I did notice a few gray marks on some corners but I'm not sure if they were already there or happened during the build. I recommend assembling the piece on a rug or carpet and move it later. Overall it's a great value! see less

These stools arrived in 2.5 days. I THOUGHT there were no assembly directions but i found them with the packaging material AFTER i assembled them with no problem on my own. The stools are BEAUTIFUL, solid wood and comfy to sit on. They are SIMPLE to assemble - be careful to make sure the wrench head is IN the screw so as not to strip it. If you need a comfy 24" stool set to use as spare seating or everyday use, I'd highly recommend this set. All the holes in my chairs were drilled properly you just have to be wise about not screwing in all the screws tightly until all pieces are seated properly. THEN, tighten away. Use the allen wrench with the LONG side to twist to save your fingers. I'm over 50, female, and good at putting stuff together. THIS IS SIMPLE! GREAT VALUE. Thanks Tar'gee Love 'em. see less

The directions were clear and it took about a half an hour for me to put it together. It was packed well, so no damage. It was a cheap piece of furniture, so I think it is about worth what was paid. I wasn't looking for a shelf to last through time, just through childhood. I didn't expect hardwood. It is sturdy enough to hold books. Its biggest fault? On the carpet, it doesn't stand flat once books are loaded. It kinda sways forward so there is a bigger gap on the top then the bottom near the wall. I put a wall anchor in. Comes with one. and I feel better about it, but it still leans forward. I think my next step would be to put a little wedge of wood under the front of it. I dunno. I think if given the chance to repurchase, I would spend a little more to get a more stable one. see less

We loved the fact we could fold it down and have someone sleep over, but I recommend only one person sleep on it as it's not quite big enough for two, maybe two children but that would be it. The bar in the middle makes it a little uncomfortable, but other than that I love it. It's honestly pretty perfect. I do recommend gluing the wood legs into the holes because if you don't they will slowly unscrew throughout the weeks randomly just from sitting on it and whatnot. I wish I could upload a picture of how cute this chair is in the room that I am redoing! The print is even more irresistible that it looks online! It looks way more expensive than what I paid for it! As for the comfort, it's a slipper chair, not a club chair. It is not meant to be a lounge chair to kick back and watch tv in on a daily basis. Slipper chairs are simply not meant for this purpose, as is the reason that they are armless. The chair is fairly small, maybe even smaller than it appears in the picture. When I have extra guests over, it's the perfect addition to pull it in with the rest of my seating. I also can't complain about the quality. Do I think it will last for the next 20 years? No, but I'll be ready to redo by then. I do think it will serve me well for the next 5-10 years, which is really all I care about. I'm tired of paying a lot for a chair that I will only deliver to [...] before 10 years are up. Overall, I'm very satisfied! see less

The chair is adorable. The assembly was easy - after I found the legs - insert happy face. The legs are shipped in the seat bottom with the bottom lining closed with velcro. After reading the reviews on the legs getting loose, I assembled the legs by adding shims between the leg and the leg brace to make sure that there was no room for movement to make the legs eventually wobble. I haven't had the chair long enough to test that theory. see less

My delivery came in the rain and had been sitting for hours in the rain, but everything was packed really nicely and with all the styrofoam, everything inside was dry! I've had experience assembling furniture like this, so I did not need the instructions, but overall, you don't need anything more than a Phillips head screwdriver...everything else came in the box. The pieces are real wood, except if a piece has a back piece, which is that MDF, but it is not too flimsy...as a matter of fact, once it's screwed on, it is very durable and really helps to hold everything together. My fingers were sore for days. I'd also advise to be careful when inserting those stoppers NOT to push the wood part of the chair up against something else, because we caused a small scratch doing that. They're very easy to put together, very sturdy, and very nice-looking. Of course, I haven't even had them up for 24 hours yet, but I can't find anything I don't like about these. The cushions are comfortable and very supportive. The legs and back are very sturdy as well. Some previous reviewers have mentioned that the legs are not all the same length-- I haven't noticed that at all, but I do have my chairs on carpet and not on a hard floor. I love putting stuff together but this chair made me want to throw it out the window. I had to call in help and together we managed to get the chair done. The screws were extremely difficult to "catch" in the groove. but once done the chair was perfect. I needed another chair and waited until target offered [...] shipping plus it went on [...]. I managed to get this chair together with no issues, however once done, it was not even. I stuck an extra felt floor protector to the botton of the leg that was shorter and it seemed to do the trick.
