We bought it today and she hasn't wanted to play with anything else all day long. She found it very entertaining. We played by the rules a couple of times, but she preferred to use the recipe cards without the timer/rules to make the cupcakes or just to make the different cupcakes by herself. She ended up putting on her princess dress and had a tea-party with the cupcakes she made. Well worth the money and good fun even if you don't play by the rules see less

Sometimes we design our own cupcakes. The topper pieces are tiny so be careful! We usually dump all the pieces in the box lid, and then put our finished cupcakes in the bottom. see less

I almost didn't buy this based on the 2 previous reviews, but figured I could always return it if it was as bad as they said. I was pleasantly surprised. No, it doesn't seem quite as roust as what I remember as lad, but it is fine. My silly boys have been playing with the ships on the upper part, and the ships and pegs are staying put. We have played several games with little sister inserting herself into the mix, all without problems. The boys love the game. It never occurred top me to play with the game on my lap. A tabletop or a hard floor is the place to play, so maybe the other posters had unreasonable expectations. I'm giving it 4 stars for not being quite as nice as the original, but otherwise, I recommend it. see less

I had assumed that I would be able to store all the pieces in the game itself, but unfortunately all the pegs do not fit inside them. I also do not like how you cannot play the game on your lap. The pegs on the gameboard easily fall out when hit from underneath. see less

I loved battleship as a kid, and thought it would be fun for my nine year old son. He got it for Christmas, and we have yet to finish a game. The pieces can be hard to place on the board, the board can be difficult to read, but the worst part is that the slightest bump can knock the board over, spilling all of the pieces...including the ships and the markers already placed in the grid! We played tonight and finally gave up after the third time his gameboard fell over. So disappointing. If you want the good old battleship experience, and have a child who doesn't always see perfectly or sit perfectly still, you may want to upgrade to a pricier version. I HOPE they would be a little more kid friendly. see less

This game has reinforced the fun of learning and using new words in her vocabulary. She has asked everyone who has come into our home to play! We haven't actually played this game as intended, as my daughter is still a little young for that. But, she loves to pick out a card, put it in the headband on her head, and then guess what it is (even though she already knows :)). She asks us questions about the item and everything (eg. if the item is a bed, she'll say, "do I sleep in it?" and we say "yes" and she says, "am I a bed???"). Too cute :) Only suggestion for a change would be to have sturdier cards as I can imagine these would get bent up easily by kids! see less

It has a lot of pieces and they were all in order, well packed with zip lock type bags for storage, in a good box that should last with normal usage. My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves this easy game. Players race around the board to be the first to the party. Each corner of the game has game pieces cupcake wrappers, cupcake inserts, frosting toppers and sprinkles game pawns are party hats. The party center is awaiting the winner to put their cherry on top of their cupcake. Educational as children need to move the amount of squares they spin plus when landing on plus or minus squares children count sprinkles for their cupcakes or take them away. They learn colors as the board has color squares and this will be the color sprinkles they retrieve. There are lose turn spaces as well so children learn patience when they are skipped. Imagination runs wild when they land at the corners and children can pretend they are mixing up their cupcake batter, placing in the oven, frosting their cupcake plus they can decorate when they get to the sprinkle topping corner. see less

I received the Dazzling Princess Game from Wonder Forge. Opinions are my own You pick a card, guess which princess the picture is associated with then use the red heart gem to reveal the answer and how many jewels you earn for that card. You then put your jewels onto your tiara, bracelet, or ring. First person to complete all three items wins the game. My daughter loved putting her jewels and this is a great activity for fine motor practice! And the pictures are not all that obvious some are of course, yet she seemed to get almost all of them with no problem. She also really enjoyed the changes to "act" out the different princess. My only complaint is that reading the card using the red heart gem can be kind of tricky, especially if you are playing in low light. But the concept is really neat and after the first game my daughter was able to use the gem to check her answers. see less

When the game is supposed to be over, we always end up doing "just one more gross out card" or "just one more lab card". Its always hard to pull away and stop the game. My almost 2 & half year loves puzzles. She loves this puzzle! I know its a little pricey but its well worth it. Everytime she puts a number in the puzzle it will tell her what number it is. It's not loud and annoying for parents:) My daugher did scrath off the number 10 on the puzzle she was biting on it. My 3 year old daughter loves this game. She received it on her 3rd birthday and we're having a blast playing it. It's really easy to play a few rounds of this game in 15-20 minutes... so Daddy and I feel like we can always say yes to this game. And, my husband and I have a fun time zinging each other with skunks! When we draw additional animals from the barn with our eyes closed (so nobody is cheating by selecting the color or animal they want). We did try shaking animals out the barn door -- but it didn't work very often.This is the first "real" game we've ever played with our daughter and we couldn't be happier.
