It is especially great because when you use a blend of the shades on the outer chin and temple areas the colors tie together into a natural glow. This brush may be called a complexion brush, but I use it as a blush and bronzer brush. Yes, the bristles do seem a bit long to use it as a foundation brush, in my opinion. I am fair skinned, so I prefer a larger blush brush, to give a soft glow using bronzer. Try it ELF's bronzer, it's great too. Just like all the ELF brushes, it is extremely soft and does not shed at all. Also, the bristles do not break off, like some other high-end natural brushes, so it does not irritate my skin. The quality is great, and you can't beat the price. see less

One for foundation one for veil and one just in case. I haven't experienced any shedding in any of the three. Another review said they had clumps coming out.. Then you got a defective brush.. For a starter or extra set of brushes, this is a great deal. The handles do have a tendancy to come loose or even detach. That being said, it has happened to my more expensive brushes, so take out the super glue and put it back together. Some may feel this is too much effort, but they are unlikely to detach soon again, and why repurchase if the brush works? Still a cheap deal for the usefulness of the brush. Synthetic bristles, so do not use any type of conditioning shampoo, it may leave a residue behind that will effect how it picks up product. Don't restrict yourself to the brush's description. A smal eye brush could be used for concealer, powder brush to buff makeup after application. All brushes can be used wet or dry where useful. So if you like cream makeup, like blush, eye shadow, etc., then this set will work well. see less

I'm wearing the color "red velvet" as I type this review. The polishes go on wonderfully smooth. There are two glitter polishes, "golden goddess" and another silvery glitter polish. So far I've tried the red velvet, golden goddess, black, and the shimmery emerald color and I love them all so far. The only negative thing I can report on is that the "golden goddess" smells pretty bad, but it is redeemed by it's beautiful shimmer. It has both fine glitter and larger flecks in it. I dabbed it over one of my "red velvet" nails and it looks quite festive. All of these colors are great to carry you through the end of fall and into winter and there are some great options for holiday nail looks as well. These are smaller than the regular e.l.f. polishes, but definitely worth the money. A must buy as a gift for someone or yourself! see less

I use Neutragena Healthy Skin, but sometimes it gets a bit 'shiny' by the end of the day, and it's a little too "dressy" for spending the day outside. This moisturizer looks almost like liquid foundation, you apply it the same way with a foundation brush, but it's not as thick and very light! Oh and for some reason, it doesn't get shiny at all....but keep in mind that it comes off easily, so if you hug your S.O., avoid putting your face on their shirt! If I have a blemish, I still use a TINY bit of my other liquid foundation for cover in the area, but other than that, I'm using this daily now! see less

I love this product!!! it is inexpensive but performs like a high end product.Other reviewers said they didn't like it but i went ahead and tried it anyway! i think the reason people are not a fan is because they don't know how to apply it, to really get the benefits out of a tinted moisturizer you MUST apply it in sections on the face going piece by piece or apply it like a foundation! DO NOT APPLY IT LIKE A MOISTURIZER!!! Another thing/tip is always set any liquid makeup with a powder no madder what form of liquid makeup blush, bronzer ,foundation, BB cream etc. it helps it look either dewy or matte depending on the powder it also helps it stay in place!!! i recommend the cover girl clean powder or the elf pressed powder. I think that weather it works for skin or not you should try it it is a pretty good deal for [$]. see less

I have combo-oily skin where my tzone is oily while the rest of my face is normal. I use this tinted moisturized underneath my powder foundation and sometimes I wear it alone when I need to quickly do my makeup. The only issue I have is when I put on too much tinted moisturizer on my tzone because it makes my skin very oily but avoiding too much in that area fixes that issue. I would not recommend this to someone with oily skin all over but it works great for someone with normal-dry skin who wants lightweight coverage or a base for their makeup. see less

I got this because I have been wanting to try a tinted moisturizer for a while now and this is all I had money for. I wasn't expecting much because it is so cheap but I thought it would have been more light weight. I feels pretty thick when you put it on. It looks bad at first but once it sinks in, it looks a little better. It has okay coverage and bends out pretty decent. But I really don't like the color of it, I have very fair skin with pink undertones so I got the lightest shade and this stuff makes me look orangey and tan. If I could I would give the "true to color" zero stars because it is not true to color at all. When I wore this stuff once, my friend asked me if I got a tan. Don't get me wrong, I like to be tan but NOT when my face is just tan. Overrall I really don't like this product because it makes me look orange, its not lightweight, and I would NOT recommend this to a friend. see less

I don't really wear that much makeup often. I decided to try this mascara because it's super cheap but I've also heard it's a good brand. Well...I was pleasantly surprised! I had previously been using some Maybelline mascara...the stuff in the pink bottle and the stuff in the green bottle...and it would always clump no matter what I tried, so I just never wore mascara. THIS stuff, however...is great! It's SUPER light weight and it didn't clump one bit! I actually have INDIVIDUAL eye lashes with this stuff! I have to hold it over the trash so the powder doesn't get everywhere. I tried the bronzer only once so far because that first time was a pigmented shock. I was able to buff it out, but that intimidated me. Once I run out of the bronzer I like, I'll attempt to use this one again and try to lightly put it on the brush in addition to tapping excess out. see less

i've heard good things about this brush so i tried it. and i'm so glad i did! it's fluffy, thick, picks up a lot of color, and soft on your eyelids. the first one i bought had some slight shedding, but after the shedding stopped it works wonderfully, and i would even say it's just as good as any other high end eyeshadow brush. i bought a second one and luckily there was no shedding. it's a little to do with luck and depending on which batch you get. but this has been a consistently good brush. gold star! see less

I have very long lashes that lack volume. I tried this mascara, first it's extremely clumpy and I had to wipe a lot of it off the wand before I even let it near my lases. Secondly, it clumps your lashes together once on, you have to run a try wand through your lases to get them to separate and look normal and not clumpy. Third, the formula is jacked, it flakes off and yet somehow manages to stay glued to my lases for days after if I don't remove it with heavy duty make up remover which in turn causes my eyes to get irritated. LASTLY and MOST importantly, this mascara makes my EYELASHES FALL OUT! No joke, my lashes fell out left and right with this mascara and I don't know why. It also stunted their growth after a few weeks of use. Never in my life have I had anything like this happen before. DO NOT USE this mascara. Spend the [$] and buy something better. see less

It smells like straight licorice, which I hate. I picked up the lightest color since I'm fair and it didn't match at all. The consistency was watery. If you really don't like glitter you may still want to avoid it, Shades can be as soft or as dark as you want it to be. I say for three bucks you can't really go wrong with it. I bought a two faced natural set way before I purchased this, and I like this better. They also give you a tiny eyeshadow brush, which is so cute!! The packaging is a bit cheap, and feels like it could break if I dropped it.Which is not a concern for me, after all it's three bucks. Be careful to not be overly heavyhanded when using the brush, because you can break through the shadow.......though I'm a little rough with stuff so it may just be me!! Hope this helps!! So I figured I'd try this. It's a [$] why not right! I love it. It just works. And I'm not out a bunch of money. And it's only [$] buy a few at a time if you think there isn't enough product in it like other reviewers have said. Personally I have had mine for a few months and I've probably got a few months left in the tube. Brings me back down to earth buying elf products... It's pretty darn good quality stuff. I like the colors, I was looking for some subtle, shimmery, neutral colors and thats exactly what these are. The packaging is nice, however I find the compact hard to open when I've shut it all the way. Also the little applicator is no good, but thats true for all inexpensive eyeshadows. see less

I bought this because I had heard great reveiws but THE EYESHADOW IS SO BAD!! I only liked the packaging. It's very professional looking. But the eyeshadow is powdery and the color barely shows up on the lighter shadows. Althougth some of their products are great, the eyeshadows are DEFINITELY NOT good. Don't buy them!!!! see less

This lip balm is very soft, it is kind of shear but you can kind of still se it on the lip. But it does not have that muck product at all. This lip balm has less then a centimeter of product. This is not worth 3 dollors this is woth [$]. I thought there was going to be more lip prouduct. see less

The actual palette is quite good, although it does have a little bit of glitter, not shimmer, in it. The colors were what I expected them to be, but I had to return it as it arrived with broken eyeshadows due to poor packaging. I like elf eyeshadows in general and would recommend them, although I also recommend using a primer with them. I wish they had packaged it better since I can't find this anywhere else for the same price. see less
