Just put in the batteries, plug in the tube and push start. No controls or adjustments. Comes with standard AA batteries.I have large arms and would use a bigger cuff at my doctor's office, but this one fits ok. Best part is that I can read the numbers without having to get out my reading glasses!Tip: Wanting to test its accuracy, I took several readings in a row and all were widely different - my doctor said always wait 5 minutes between tests and now they are within 2 points. The numbers match the range of my history at the doctor's office. see less

I bought this so I could monitor my bp at home during my pregnancy and it is so easy to use. As long as you follow the directions you will get a consistent read. I have to be carefully not too do it too much. Great buy, great find! see less

The Anova Medical wrist model is an excellent device, it's accurate, easy to use and very affordable. After I had heart surgery in 2005, my cardiologist recommended that I monitor my blood pressure when exercising. For me it was very inconvenient using the arm cuff machine at the YMCA where I work out. Now I know my readings at a glance with my wrist model without interrupting my routine. I have compared the readings of my Anova wrist monitor with readings at my cardiologist's office and with the monitor at the YMCA and found the Anova wrist model to be very accurate. see less

I love this blood pressure monitor! It takes accurate measurements and it's easy to use. Two of my friends have bought the same model at my recommendation and they both also love theirs. Far better then the balky table top units. see less

The monitor works great. Its mostly easy to use. Just be aware that the Large cuff is REALLY large you may have to really work at wrapping it around your arm. I plan to order the small cuff soon. see less

Most people buy one of these units because they are having issues with their blood pressure and want to monitor it. When you need an accurate reading to determine you daily medication dosage, this unit is unreliable. I bought one and took it along on a recent visit to my doctor. Compared to the readings from the doctor, this unit consistently measures 30-40 HGL higher while resting and 25-45 HGL lower after any type of physical activity. see less

unless you are a nurse or a doctor, you will not be able to measure the blood pressure because it is a manual device, not automatic. Extremely difficult and you will need to buy another device to listen to the heartbeat in the same time in order to measure the blood pressure.I had to return it. see less
