I bought this sound bar in August to augment the weak sound coming from my HD TV speakers. Produces an amazing, booming sound quality that completely fills my living room. The surround sound is further enhanced with sub woofer control that increases the bass and adds another dimension to the sound coming from the speakers. At maximum volume the sound becomes distorted, but maximum sound levels are way beyond normal listening levels. Works well with gaming and music too! I would definitely recommend this sound bar for anyone looking to have stereo sound that matches the quality of watching high definition television programming. see less

Don't buy a Vizio sound bar unless you are sure you know how to install it or you have a Vizio TV. [...] No where on the box or directions does it say the product may not be compatible with other brand TV's. see less

I just purchased this from the Target store and A plus across the board. The item was packed very well and install was super easy. I would suggest getting the fiber optic cable for the audio and is a clear line and easy to hide. We have always used RCA home systems and after purchasing this, we will never go back to RCA products. see less

I purchased this to supplement our TV's poor built-in sound-- a somewhat common problem among flat screen TVs. While the sound bars are out in the store to "demo" them-- it's impossible to listen to them with 50 Televisions all looping Target commercials at the same time. While setup was simple, sound quality is disappointing. Unfortunately, the sound bar itself doesn't sound much better than the TV itself. The subwoofer adds bass, but bass doesn't do much good when speech and dialogue still sounds like it's coming out of a set of tin cans. I've had 2.1 speaker systems for PCs that cost 1/4 the price and sounds 3x as good. see less

We moved in to a new house with 18' ceilings and the sound coming from our Vizio 42" LCD flat screen just wasn't cutting it. The Vizio 2.1 32" sound bar with wired sub-woofer fills the room, and entire house, with deep, rich sound. Now, we really wish we had gotten the sound bar with our TV. But then, we wouldn't have gotten in on a great sale at Target back then! see less

I have had the VSB211 Vizio Sound Bar with subwoofer for about four weeks now. It's very simple to set up. I use it with my 40' LCD flat screen Samsung. I didn't want to get a large or expensive home theater system... just something to give me more sound. I was surprised how well it worked. It has enough volume. The subwoofer is passive so it doesn't give a great deal of bass, but it does the job. I'm glad I got this product. I would have rated every category 5 stars, but I haven't had it long enough to know it's reliability. Other than that, I am very satisfied. see less

We bought our Vizio sound bar and subwoofer Nov 20th and everything seemed to work fine. The sound quality of the bar itself was nice. It provided detailed sound. However, last night, which is a little less than 3 months after purchase, the sound became staticky, in the middle of our movie. Since then, the sound bar has had static. In addition to that, the subwoofer has been cutting in and out. My boyfriend noticed this since the date of purchase. Luckily, this issue occurred before the 90 day return period. After reading reviews and seeing how people have also had the subwoofer issue, we have decided not to exchange this item for the same one, instead we will be going with another brand that would be [$] more. see less

wonderful investment.....installation was quick and easy and the sound coming out of this bar is amazing...we had just purchased a 47 in. Vizio and was looking for a home theater system when we listened to the demo of this in the Target store...was sold when we turned it on! Recommend this sound bar! see less

Great add on to the TV speakers. Plugged in and ready to work, immediately. Decided not to get sub with living on 3rd floor, but is not necessary as this puts out great quality sounds. Couldn't imagine using just the TV speakers anymore without this bar. Using with a 46" xtreme slim Samsung, without wall mount. Do buy... see less

Couldn't believe the sound that came out of this thing. For the price this thing can't be beat. I spent a few hundred dollars on a soundbar a few years ago that has worked very well. We decided to buy a smaller version for a different room, but this one will be replacing my old one in the living room! The Bluetooth feature is pretty cool too. lets me play music from my iPhone. Will be great when hosting guests! see less

What a GREAT value this is! I bought a T.V. on sale that had terrible sound quality, and this inexpensive, easy to install, and versatile sound bar solved the sound problem. And since it can connect to my ipod, and other equipment, it solves a LOT of sound problems. I don't want to overstate it-- if you're a musician with a set up in your basement, it may not quite be the precision sound you need. But if you need an inexpensive solution with a big sound, this is it! see less

I am REALLY glad I bought this. It really helped my HD TV have a stronger clearer sound. If you are looking for a home theater sound with lots of bass, this is not it. This basically just helps make the sound louder and stronger. It's great because I can also plug in my [mp3]. Again, if you want a strong bass with movie theater sound, this is not for you. I LOVE it for the price!! see less
