I first used a Baby Einstein video about 10 years ago when I was baby-sitting. The little girl who was 4 months old at the time was inconsolable and I had exhausted my checklist of things to do: change, diaper, hungry, etc. So I popped this in and voila! it was a miracle she went from screaming to happy as a clam!!! I bought this dvd for my 21mo.old daughter before going on a road trip. She loved the video and by the time we made it back home, she knew her alphabet and knew almost all the sounds each letter made! She is four now and still loves the video. It has made a difference with her reading and writing! She is reading beginner books and spelling anything she sounds out thanks to the letter factory! This video is AMAZING! My daughter's a toddler and knows (recognizes, sorts, and sounds) the alphabet all due to this video. It is short in length, but extremely effective. It is fun, has catchy tunes, and is engaging to a very active toddler. We are big readers and I can see that this has solidified so many things for her - you can see the "ahaaaaaaaaaa" look in her eye when she is looking at her books. This video is a lifesaver! I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't be able to shower, eat, or get anything done around the house without it. My son is 3 months old and loves it. You make think there is no way my baby will watch a movie but its so simple and colorful it works. Each scene is just long enough to hold their attention and then it changes before they lose interest... amazing really. Anyway, this product is worth every penny. Everytime I stop by Target I pick up another! My son isn't bored with just one movie ... its me that likes to switch it up! LOL see less

I'd been training my 27 month old for 2 weeks & while she was doing pretty good, (we went straight to panties only), She wasn't quiet getting when she had to go and wouldn't tell us she had to go. I'd heard good things about "Elmo's potty time" and decided to try it out. I wasn't so sure it'd work, as the first time she watched it she didn't really seem to pay attention. but I kept playing it each morning, after a week she was telling us "potty". I couldn't believe it! I love how it explains it simply for kids about listening to your body. see less

I have been potty training my 3 1/2 year old for a year now! Frustrated... I felt like he couldn't understand when to tell us. I tried everything everyone said. Finally I started just putting him on the potty every 2 hrs and had him wear underwear. It was going okay but I had to be the one to initiate it. I got this movie last week. After watching this movie once he told us 3 times that day that he had to go potty. And then the next day it was more!!!!! It really explains every aspect in a fun way to kids! So awesome TOTALLY would recommend! see less

I love love love this movie. This is a great remake. When i look for movies i have to find something that will keep my kids attention, songs in movie, and something they will overall enjoy. Because my kids have autism, and most things that interest other kids doesnt interest mines. But this movie has songs in it, mild violence, but nothing that will make the kids pick up any bad language or habits. Great movie, its entertaining, funny and a great remake on a classic story. Its not just a girls movie, boys can watch it too. The price is a little high, but they are for disney movies. I think its worth it though at the end of the day. I myself will sit down and watch it over and over with them. Im 27 yrs old and my kids are 3 and 6 and we cant get enough of it. see less

The story is about a girl who finds her independence and goes for what she wants. The dialogue is witty, the characters are unique, and the movie just feels like a breath of fresh air. I purchased this movie for my nephew who loves Jake and the Never Land Pirates. I purchased him the previous movie that came with the eye patch so I was excited to see this one say it came with the sword. When I got this there was no sword and nothing stating it on the box. Needless to say I am not happy but my nephew will still love the movie. He won't be happy that he didn't get the sword to go with it though. I would have still bought this movie without the sword but I thought it would be a cool little extra to go with it. Just a warning that the sword will not come with it see less

My kids got this movie for Christmas and they both just love this movie!! This movie basically deals with Mr. Fredrickson, the older man, Russell, the kid and Kevin the big bird and Dug the talking dog in an adventure that is sure to please the whole family!! I definitely give these DVD's two thumbs up! When my daughter turned 3, she knew her alphabet backwards and forwards, but she didn't know the letter sounds, and she didn't have any letter sight recognition... if you pointed to a letter on a page, she didn't know what it was (other than 'A', and 'K' and 'J', which are in her name). I bought this set, and she loved the videos right from the start. Within ONE week, she knew ALL of the letter sounds, and had sight recognition on ALL letters as well. She started talking about the 'sticky letters' (vowels) and how to build words. It was an amazing transformation. I recommend this to all parents! see less

I love these Leap Frog Video's! I was thinking about getting "My Baby Can Read" but they just have your child memorize words. Leap Frog actually teaches how to read any words. She watched it so many times we had to replace the VHS tape TWICE! This movie is just wonderful all around. The story line, music, colors, characters and more.
