I have only owned this for a few weeks, but I love the design and heat distribution. I am trusting from the Calphalon reputation that the non-stick surface will hold up. The skillet is well balanced and sits flat on my electric range.
i just bought this kettle at the local target and so far i really like it. i spent a bit more money on a new kettle than i originally intended because i wanted to see what i was buying firsthand. my old stainless steel kettle (a cheaper one i bought at target a few years ago, not sure what brand, [...]) had started to show rust along the inside bottom seal. i wanted a new kettle that did not have such a seal, and this one doesn't. it's made of a single piece of metal (except for the lid and spout of course). this was the #1 consideration for me, and i thought i would share this fact in case that's important for anyone buying online.overall it seems well designed, which i've found pretty typical for calphalon products. the lid seals tight but can be removed easily with a large enough lid handle that you can do so holding on to the kettle handle without touching any metal (if you want to remove the lid while the kettle is still hot). the spout lever sits conveniently at the inside apex of the handle, right where you would pick it up. the large, looping kettle handle was nowhere near too hot to touch after boiling and is out of the way enough to easily reach inside for cleaning. and the whistle works as you'd expect a kettle whistle to.so while it's still brand new and i haven't used it much yet, i would recommend this kettle. if i notice any problems as i use it more i'll update my review.
