Chairs look just like in the picture -- sleek and stylish. They also feel very sturdy, and I don't worry about them not lasting. We've had them about 3 months now. The only annoying thing was that inserting the stoppers into the bottom of the legs was agonizing! They're a very tight fit, and there's no tool to help get the job done. My fingers were sore for days. I'd also advise to be careful when inserting those stoppers NOT to push the wood part of the chair up against something else, because we caused a small scratch doing that. Overall, very happy with the purchase! see less

These stools arrived in 2.5 days. I THOUGHT there were no assembly directions but i found them with the packaging material AFTER i assembled them with no problem on my own. The stools are BEAUTIFUL, solid wood and comfy to sit on. They are SIMPLE to assemble - be careful to make sure the wrench head is IN the screw so as not to strip it. If you need a comfy 24" stool set to use as spare seating or everyday use, I'd highly recommend this set. All the holes in my chairs were drilled properly you just have to be wise about not screwing in all the screws tightly until all pieces are seated properly. THEN, tighten away. Use the allen wrench with the LONG side to twist to save your fingers. I'm over 50, female, and good at putting stuff together. THIS IS SIMPLE! GREAT VALUE. Thanks Tar'gee Love 'em. see less

Really impressed by these stools. Spent a lot of time shopping online at places like World Market and such, these are practically the exact same stools offered on other sites for twice as much. Set up was easy enough, though took a little effort to get all the screws firmly embedded. The end result is flawless, beautiful wood that has a lovely contoured seat. For the price, this stool was hands down a pleasant surprise. It actually works, is not wobbly, fairly comfortable and style is ok on the eyes. Of course, if you look closely you will see that its no an expensive piece- vinyl will never look like leather, the chrome is cheesy i.e. its not real chrome, etc. but I could not ask for more. Before buying this table I read the reviews and quite frankly was impressed for a folding table that was not expensive. Received mine today and it is better than I expected. After opening up the table which was pretty simple, it was stable and secure. Like the metal legs, the soft vinyl top and it was easy to fold away. Need the table for extra guests for dinners and look forward to using it. I also like the idea of delivery which was really fast. I didn't want to cart a big box home from a store, to me price for shipping was worth it. Really like this table and glad I bought it! see less

I LOVE these stools! They look exactly like the ones in the [...] catalog. They are sturdy and the seat is quite wide - even for those with a big fanny! They are coated with some type of polyurethane or some type of sealer on top, so they are not at all scratchy or uncomfortable, even in shorts. They look amazing with my new granite. The espresso color of the wood is nearly black and the height that some other reviewers were concerned about is about 1" shorter than i'd like it to be for a standard bar height but it is not an issue at all. I just put these together last night and I love these so much! I can't believe they're this high quality and beautiful while still being so cheap! They're very easy to put together, very sturdy, and very nice-looking. Of course, I haven't even had them up for 24 hours yet, but I can't find anything I don't like about these. The cushions are comfortable and very supportive. The legs and back are very sturdy as well. Some previous reviewers have mentioned that the legs are not all the same length-- I haven't noticed that at all, but I do have my chairs on carpet and not on a hard floor. It's possible to put these together by yourself, but it is a bit easier with two people. I very highly recommend these for anyone. see less

These stools look great at our kitchen island. It's nice that they're adjustable, but the lower height is perfect for us. The assembly for all 3 took about 1.5 hours. We looked on craigslist for about a month before giving up and getting these, which look very nice and are a better price than most of the things we saw on craigslist. First and foremost, I LOVE the appearance of these chairs! I feel like the pattern is modern and classy and they work perfectly for my tall eat-in kitchen table. My only complaint is that these chairs, after assembled which took about 1-2 hours for 4 of them, are a bit wobbly. All the correct parts were used and my husband put them together correctly, yet they are still a little shaky when you touch/move them. They have held everyone who's sat in them just fine, I would've just preferred them to be a bit more stable. see less

purchased one chair back in the fall as I wasn't sure it would be the right height, description on website not clear. I love putting stuff together but this chair made me want to throw it out the window. I had to call in help and together we managed to get the chair done. The screws were extremely difficult to "catch" in the groove. but once done the chair was perfect. I needed another chair and waited until target offered [...] shipping plus it went on [...]. I managed to get this chair together with no issues, however once done, it was not even. I stuck an extra felt floor protector to the botton of the leg that was shorter and it seemed to do the trick. I don't think the price matches the construciton of the chair. If I had paid [$] I probably would have just shrugged my shoulders and let it go, therefore I only gave it 4 stars. I love these chairs. I had bought a dining table second hand, and was looking for the perfect set of chairs. These are it! They are very comfortable and sleek. The height of the back hits me, and many of my friends and family in a perfect spot. Great support. I bought the blue and green sets and felt the colors were well represented, at least on my computer. I did take into account some of the chipping comments, and gave them three coats of poly. This maybe took me an hour for six chairs, which includes taking the legs off to spray the seats. Even with having to buy the two cans of spray poly., these chairs were a steal. I bought one of these this morning, went to put it together this afternoon and had 2 right legs rather than one right and one left. So, I packed it back up, brought it back and got a new one this evening. Brought it home and went to put it together... One of the legs had a HUGE KNOT in the wood and right in the center of it was a hole for one of the cross-bars, key to the stability & safety of the product. The wood was jagged & split from one side of the leg to the opposite side. The wood was cracked about 1mm down into the wood. It seems this defect was noticed by the manufacturer because the wood was "touched up" with a red dye over this area, rather than the Dark Tobacco. I'm super disappointed and, quite frankly, annoyed. I'm returning the second one tomorrow morning and will search elsewhere. It's too bad because the one on display in the store is nice and this would have gone well with our table. So, word of caution, CHECK THE PRODUCT BEFORE PUTTING IT TOGETHER! see less

Didn't need any tools aside of what was included, and it took about 30 minutes to assemble all four. Only issue is with the black footsies. They were hard to insert and they seem to pop out when I sit in the chair. I have very thick carpet so maybe that makes it a bit hard for them to find a foothold. Other than that, they look great, are of better quality than expected and mirror in style of the more expensive Italian original. see less

I received these chairs today and I am very pleased. They are VERY sturdy, a bit heavy which keeps them well-grounded and nicely made. 100 percent solid wood furniture is hard to come by these days and when you do find it, it costs a fortune so these were a decent deal. There are two things I want to note ONE,The color is much darker in person than on screen. It is more of a "pea soup green" than a "pistachio". I personally will have to let the color grow on me. It is not ugly, just darker TWO, The chair assembly is a bit of a pain. There are a lot of washers, bolts and screws that must be affixed, however, it's not this hardware that makes the assembly a pain rather, it is the tight spaces and odd angles you have to use the provided Allen wrench and "mini wrench" in. You need a little bit of time and some patience so you don't end up scratching or knicking the paint/wood. Also, you need a screwdriver at the end. 100 percent solid wood, decent price, nicely made, easy assembly. Deal. see less

I can't recommend these chairs enough. They are made of solid rubber wood and stained a dark brown. The wood grain is very attractive and matches our rubber wood dinning set. They are sturdy and heavy, but not overly so, still easy to move around. My wife and I ordered three of these from Target online and received the shipment in about [...]. Don't believe what some are saying about these chairs being difficult to put together. It is a snap! Half the chair is already assembled right out of the box! It comes with easy to follow directions and it took me 1.5hrs to assemble all three, all while watching our 2 year old! I could see if holes were drilled incorrectly on the chairs, it would cause some problems, but all of ours were perfect, so don't let that dissuade you from getting these. They are great looking, solidly built, easy to assemble and the price is fantastic for what you are getting. I'm sure these chairs will be at our counter for years and years to come. see less

picked this up in the store a few days ago, on sale. Put it together last night and it was super easy. There was only one small, minor issue. One of the knobs wouldn't tighten. It appears that when the grooves were cut into the knob it was crooked so the screw won't tighten all the way. I called the phone number on the directions and was transferred to customer relations. They looked up the manufacturer and gave me their number. They weren't able to ship just the knob, and are shipping the whole hardware pack. I will be buying another one of these carts to go on the other side of my stove. Very happy with the product see less

Dowel holes were way too ... see more

Dowel holes were way too big for the dowel pins. Screws holes were too large for a lot of the screws so they would not tighten. Some screw holes were so big that the screw could not be removed because there was nothing for the screw to grab. Rear wood panels on most of the drawers were so thin that they split when the screws were installed. I have purchased similar products from [...] for a lot less money what were many times better quality than this item. Target should be ashamed to have this on their store shelves, much less have their name on it. I might not be so disappointed if this product was half its current price. However, it should be much better quality for what it currently costs. see less

These chairs are really beautiful and look very similar to Pottery Barn. I purchased these on sale and ended up paying roughly [$] and bought 4 of them. Not bad. BUT the quality is OK. The chairs are sturdy but the paint isn't on too thick, as I have already seen a chip or two and like others, there were a couple stains on the white when they came out of the box. I haven't given them a good cleaning yet, to see if that would help. Overall, the chairs are nice and decent qualit. I like my home to look "lived in" so they don't have to be perfect. see less

Purchased this chair for my home office. I was actually impressed by the quality of the material when I first opened the box. It shipped quickly and damage free. I am a little disappointed that the stud portion is actually a strip. Rather than individually stamped into the chair like it looks in the picture, they are connected to each other. THEN my friend sat on a chair ..5'7"--150lbs--male..and put his foot on one of the foot rests and it broke! It just snapped! He didn't put a whole lot of pressure on it! It was nuts! So we will be returning that one, and I'm honestly scared to put my feet on the rests, so I don't know if that was a fluke or they are really that cheap. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the hardware packed with all the parts separated in pockets per step by step instructions. It even has a separate pocket on the cardboard with extra parts. Kuddos to the person who thought that up. Someone finally used common sense. It was easy to put together with two people. The style is great and the extra drawers and cupboard are extremely handy. We love that the table extends in back. The only thing I would like to see replaced are the extender braces under the swing up extension. It is nice that they are keeping with the wood theme, but metal would hold up better. I will never use the top itself for food prep, but will rub it with food grade mineral oil to keep it from staining. The great part is, that since the kitchen is small, we can roll it out when needed, and back against the wall when done. see less

I was looking for a value priced dinning room set, and this fit the bill perfectly. I really like the color, style, and the fact that the table is expandable. If dining alone it can be left in the folded position, however, if your accommodating one guest you just "slide" and "flip open. When in the expanded position there is no crease, and the table remains sturdy as you position the table to where the base moves, providing excellent support. Also, the small storage space underneath the table is a nice touch. There isn't a huge amount of space, enough for a folded table cloth, place mats, candle holders, napkins, hidden cash -LOL- and other table accessories. Assembly is a snap for one person, and the only tricky part is table leg assembly, however, use the box and you will be good to go. Total set up time took under 45 mins, and thats really taking my time, in no rush. Moreover, you really dont need two people to accomplish this task. Overall, solid table for the price. see less

I searched online and in stores for months for a small but functional dining room table because my dining room is small, 6' by 9'. This table and chair set is PERFECT! I always have the table top expanded and the storage underneath is a great functional feature! I've sat in the chairs for extended periods of time during get togethers or doing work and they are comfortable. Due to where the four legs are supporting the table, there is a generously amount of leg room when seated and when swinging around to get in and out of your seat.
