This is just what we expected. Does a great job. Love the locking lid, although, if you don't take it anywhere the claps can get in your way with normal use. Features work great. We were worried about the size, because our old crock pot was 6.5, but this is more than enough room for what we cook (enough for 4-6 ppl). It is just the two of us, but when we use the crock pot we make leftovers for the week. Great buy for the money. see less

This is my first slow cooker than isn't a hand me down. My old one would burn the bottom of meats, so I was scared that was just a drawback of slow cookers in general. Boy was I wrong! I bought this one because I liked the digital timer. I sometimes forget to look at the clock when start cooking something, so this helps tell me how much longer I have. I've used it twice and it doesn't come close to burning the meat or veggies, only makes the meat tender and the veggies come out PERFECT. I am in love with this one. Also, to those that have mentioned it, it says in the user manual DO NOT lock the lid while cooking, that feature is only for travel. see less

Cook Country tested various brand name crockpots and the digital series of CROCKPOT was recommended. I use my crockpot to mainly cook sauerkraut at a low 8hr setting. and it cooks the kraut to melt n your mouth. My crockpot allows 4 automatic time settings. So if you have the desire to some serious cooking I would checkout other CROCKPOT's digital models. There are at least four other models with digital settings. If you have the desire to cook sauerkraut I recommend to first rinse the kraut in cold water to get the salt taste out of it. I then blend my with frozen pineapple chunks and juice. both are good for the indigestion. see less

i always wanted a kitchenaid but couldnt afford it but for this price my god its the best price ever and it works so great i got this kitchenaid because i knead lots of dough and i use to do it with my hands and i have very senstive skin so my hands use to get red and my skin start tearing i am from pakistan and people from my country always eat fresh homemade bread so we have to knead flour, atta, every other day so i was upset of doing that so went and purchased this used it the same day i got it its perfect it kneads my atta is name for flour in my language, i dont need to do it with my hands anymore and people out there who want to know if this kneads flour ,atta it works perfectly fine i mean i am in love with this it also whips cream and whisks very well dont miss the price its the best i saw the same kitchenaid for 349.00 dollar at jcpenny this is best i give it 5 stars ....... see less

Love this crockpot, but I broke my stoneware twice (don't put it on high heat when warming up something dry, like burritos wrapped in tinfoil - gets too hot and cracks). Both the main pro and con about this machine is that it gets very hot. Pro - you can cook food more quickly than most other slow cookers. Con - you can break the stoneware (see above) and scorch your food if you don't watch it closely. see less

We went for the 7 qt. if I'm going to cook I want to make a lot of good food. We're so glad to have purchased this product. First thing I did was to heat water on "low setting" and learn the temps than I shut it off, let it cool down, then went to the "high setting." Last week I cooked a 6 lb. beef pot roast, carrots, potatoes, etc. following the enclosed suggestions. Ran it for 5-6 hours...came out awesome and soooo tender. Got 5-stars for that. New Years Eve, we did a 13 lb. turkey. I took the skin off, carved the breast off, separated the sections and laid it in the pot with all the seasons....was awesome...parts fell from the bones....another 5-stars. Best thing I bought for the kitchen and me! see less

I always say the right tool is worth its price. When I first got married I would pick up a used mixer every few months for 5-20 dollars at the thrift store. After replacing it several times I finally broke down and bought what I really wanted, this KitchenAid Classic stand mixer. Amazingly, I paid almost the same price 23 years ago, 225 dollars. I have had my Keurig for over 2 years now with not a speck of trouble. I certainly would not want to go back to a 10 or 12 cup brewer. For one, I only drink 1 cup a day the majority of the time and usually the smallest amount you can make in the other coffee makers is 2 cups, so you're already wasting coffee. Then there's the daily clean up with the glass pot brewers. All I do now is brew and go in a matter of 2 minutes. I can't live without my Keurig and I'm thinking of buying a new one, on sale of course, for when and if mine ever goes kaput. It's true, they are a little expensive, but well worth every dollar. Now, they have also come out with Eight O Clock coffee, which is less expensive and just as good, to me. see less

I LOVE this toaster! My requirement for a toaster is that it toasts a piece of bread EVENLY! That's it's main purpose and should be able to do that right? This one does that, I bought 2 other toasters much more expensive and returned them because they couldn't even toast a piece of bread , this toaster is also a very solid built toaster! This is also a great price for a toaster and if you want you can buy it in different colors! My only complaint would be is that it isn't a "cool touch" toaster and the sides get very hot when you use it but as an adult I think I can keep from touching a hot toaster. see less

First, I find it funny and interesting that each different color for this toaster has a different review and one color has a higher review than the other. They are all the same. Just a different color. Anyways, I was looking for a toaster where thinner breads and pastries such as Pop Tarts would not fall through the bottom of the toaster. This model has guides that close on the bread, pastry, bagel, etc to keep it in place so nothing falls along the sides to the bottom. Just what I was looking for and not a feature on most other toasters. The settings work good. Cancel button is there to stop toasting immediately if needed. I chose the stainless steel, because that is the finish I wanted, but I don't see why the other colors would be any different in the function or quality. Excellent toaster. see less

i purchased this from target in march of 2008 and i don't think i have ever had an kitchen untencil that still pleases for such a period of time. i have put this fryer through every thing i could think off with every possible food combination and all still comes out great. i do not put it in the oven so i can't comment on that aspect but i do put it in the dishwasher just because it is too long for my sink and it is very cumbersome. just short of washing it in the bathtub, the dishwasher has not tarnish, chipped, bent, warped or anything that would deter from it still looking like new....which it does. i must say that i put the glass top on the top rack and the fryer on the bottom. because of the shape of the fryer, i do wash it by itself. anyway, anyone who is thinking about purchasing this item, do so. you will not regret it! see less

But I am frustrated that it does not toast evenly, only toasting one side, and burning the edge of the bread closest to the center of the slot. I didn't need a 4 slice toaster but liked the long slots for my favorite rye bread. This toaster only toasts on one side of the bread, no matter the settings. I figured that this was a good brand and what with the huge cost it had to be good. Sure wish I had saved my money. I went out and bought a cheaper toaster and will just have to cut my rye bread slices in half but at least both sides will be toasted! see less

Never used a slow cooker and now I wonder why I didn't. Couldn't ask for more of an appliance. Great not have to be at the stove to watch food for boil overs and burning. Tried everything from soup to short ribs and complete success! Easy to use and easy to clean up. Spoon rest is a nice feature. This is a real value!!!! see less

I don't do much cooking. So I love the Ninja! It is so easy to clean, probably the best part. And things are easy to prepare. The stovetop setting seems to take a little while to heat up when I browned 2lbs of hamburger, so that much meat may be faster on a burner with a bigger surface. And I am not very good at searing meat without burning it after switching to oven and baking, but I have that problem with a regular oven too. The stove top setting does seem to work like a burner where the center is still the hottest part. There is an default timer that shuts it off if you don't set the timer, which came in handy for me. You don't have to use multiple pots or burners on the stove, and a smaller oven uses less energy. Spaghetti is a family favorite, because it's easy, and even more so now that we have a Ninja that cuts cooking and cleanup time! see less
