I checked out this lamp in the store. It's kind of short and squat, so be sure to check out the measurements. It would look awesome with a low headboard--Not too tall, like it's brother in the collection. The quality is excellent with a nice, consistent, creamy glaze. This lamp, simply put, will be one of your best purchases from Target.I read all the negative reviews and realized one thing was missing from them...COMMON SENSE!This lamp fits in perfectly with my sage-brown walls and the lighting is phenomenal. Assembly was easy and quick. But, if you have trouble with screwing parts together, take your time doing it. That way it will stand straight.The shade is just paper so BE CAREFUL of the wattage you use. I have converted most of our lamps to CFL's. I suggest using no higher than 60w equivalents. This will provide EXACTLY what the lamp was intended to do; give warm, inviting indirect light. This will also prevent any smoking and/or burning smells as described in previous "intelligence reports"(remember, this is NOT a $lamp).If you're looking for a nice, modestly price lamp that will give you an added boost to your living room/bedroom/anyroom, this is it.If you're looking for a 5 million watt output from a $ lamp and flawless craftsmanship, you will be disappointed.GREAT LAMP!!! see less

I was hestitant when I was looking at it in the store as I thought the shade would keep it from being bright. But, with the 150w bulb in it it's VERY bright. It's also very nice! I love the shelves! Went to together easily and is quite sturdy. Worth the money! see less

For the price, this is a really nice lamp. The wood looks like good quality. I spent money on more expensive bookshelves and a dining table, and didn't want to spend additional money right away. I figured I would buy a nicer lamp a year or so down the road. I was worried it wood look out of place, but it doesn't, and I'm still using it now 2 years later. I also came back to the site and purchased two of the smaller table lamps to match. The light quality is very good. It lets you use a 150W bulb which is nice and bright. The shade softens the light quality without sacrificing brightness. The shelves are handy. I keep decorations on the bottom two and leave the top one free for placing a cup or snack, or novel/kindle. They're not large enough for a laptop. Since a few reviewers complained the pull-chain is flimsy and has broken, leaving the lamp useless, I have it connected to my wall switch and only use that to turn it on and off. see less

I bought this because I was sick of the big bulky table that was previously next to my bed. It was easy to put together, and as I recall it didn't need any tools, but maybe a screwdriver. The three shelves are great for a basket to hold your things. I put a heavier basket on the bottom to make the lamp more stable, because it is lightweight. I seek "deals" in general, and would have preferred to only have paid around [$] total for the lamp. The style is great though. see less

I've had my lamp for 2 years now. It is easy to clean and is a nice source of soft, warm light. Very stylish and the shelves are nice for decorating. They legs are not incredibly sturdy but it's something you don't notice unless you are dusting. I would say the price point is a bit high though, as it's not metal or solid wood. see less

Went together very easily. Only very very minor cosmetic damage on part of the shade -- VERY minor problem with the soldering, most people would probably never notice it. Beautiful colors. Each lamp varies a bit in the coloring. see less

Bought this yesterday, put it together & the iron scroll feature at the top causes the whole top of the lamp to wobble! Tried checking to see if it needs to be tightened but already is & still wobbles... taking it back today! Bummer because I like the style!! see less

I just happened upon these lamps and I have to say that they are fantastic. JUST what I was looking for. And the price is excellent. I saw much more expensive lamps of the same style that didn't do what these do. They were easy to assemble and the glow from the shade is wonderful, picks up all the colors of my decor. If you are looking for a tiffany style/torchiere lamp these are the ones to get. see less

I first saw this lamp in the Restoration Hardware catalog and knew I had to have it. I didn't agree with the price so, I held out. I was glad to see Target carrying this lamp. I made the purchase and I am happy with it. Very easy to put together. Doesn't seem cheap and has a nice silver finished metal. Lamp is also sturdy and the base has a little weight to it. see less

This shipped in a really large box all by it self. I ripped it open instantly only to find that the white isn't white but instead beige or off white. Really disappointed, i got these with the matching curtains so i guess I'm taking them back. Its beautiful and sturdy, but absolutely not as pictured. see less

I just received this lamp a few days ago, and I love it. It is a very cute, even pretty little accent lamp. It takes a candelabra bulb (like old xmas tree lights, or a night light), the screw in type, up to 25W. The shade looks like a silk shade, which gives the whole lamp a very nice appearance. The sticker with the bulb size info on the white stem peels off, which makes it look even better. I liked it so much I am getting one for my daughter. see less
