This is the best gift my daughter recieved for christmas. She loves it. She's constantly taking pictures and playing games. she barely ever puts it down. The only complaint I have is that it runs batteries out very fast, but buying a battery charger, and a AC adapter helped a lot. Shes always showing us everything shes completed and asking us for help. And i can check her progress online. This is the best toy ever. see less

We love it! Very fun, hours of educational fun! My six year old started with the Leapster Explorer at 5 and we upgraded her to the LeapPad2 for her 6th birthday and she is thrilled! She keeps thanking us over and over and over again for the gift. It's so fun that our 11 year old loves it too. The Leapfrog products are beyond our expectations and the cost of the products are great!!!!...so worth the price! We are Leapfrog fans!!!! see less

First case had a Zipper that was too hard for little hands to line up and zip. This case is perfect for my on the go granddaughter. She can pack it up and close it and carry it easily. AC adapter is great - we were going through 4 batteries every few days. Trying the rechargeable ones hopefully they will last longer. Headset is nice, still getting the hang of that. see less

My children own several Leapfrog products and I have been pleased with them all. However, I AM disappointed that the LeapPad 1 requires disposable or rechargable batteries to operate! It should have a rechargable adapter like the LeapPad 2! see less

My little girl just loves her Innotab! It's wonderful that we can track her progress and see how she is using her Innotab and also where she needs to improve. Battery consumption is not a problem if you buy 2 sets of rechargeable batteries and always have one charging while the other set is in use in the toy. The only problem we have with the Innotab is that the stylus is not attached to the Innotab itself. She is constantly misplacing her stylus. Just a thought! This is the "BEST" toy we have ever gotten my little girl. Thank you! see less

This is great to take along on road trips. It has kept my daughter entertained. She loves reading have always read to her and shared a love of reading with her. This product only adds to that. My child is reading at a first grade level and is starting kindergarten in the fall. Reading to your child is still the best thing to do with them but having a reader helps promote self learning and reading when you have other things to do. see less

My youngest daughter has the Leapster Explorer that we purchased for her sister a few years ago. She uses it a lot, but I recently purchased more ebooks and videos and discovered that there wasn't enough room. Along comes the updated LeapPad2 which has some of the same functionality of our iPad. I purchased it and she opened it. Even before I loaded the apps, she was taking pictures and enjoying the demo apps. Huge success - she wanted to sleep with it. Picture quality for the camera appears to be low, but I haven't looked to see if there is a way to improve it. Kids notice when the quality doesn't match their parents phones/tablets, so companies should not skimp in these areas. see less

Love it! We got this for my daughters 4th birthday. I think it was totally worth the extra money for the princess edition. It came with a case and there are princess icons on it. You might want to invest in AA rechargeable batteries.. this thing uses up batteries super fast! This is something that my girls will use for many years to come. see less

With kids who love technology this is a way to let them play without giving them your gadgets. My daughter loved the vTech InnoTab 2s. The games included were great and she has spent hours playing on it. While the quality of the camera and video is not the greatest is works for her needs. She loves watching her colored pages come to life and we can't wait to add to our game collection. If you have a little one who loves to play games on a tablet but aren't quite ready to hand over your iPad then this is definitely the way to go. It's a great tablet to keep kids entertained on the go. I have received VTech InnoTab 2S tofacilitate my review. see less

I love this "tablet" for my kids! I have 3 ages 6, 5 and 3 and they all love to play the games, listen to the music and take photos. The icons are large enough for them to use easily, the games, books, and other educational items are perfect for this age group. And we LOVE the deluxe ebooks! In addition, we have had it for 2 weeks and though it has been dropped and treated like most toys are around here, it is standing up perfectly! Defiantly a buy for educational and entertainment value! I do think that this kids tablet is a BUY! The only drawback is that you have to purchase the games and books after the fact. But I have only had to download 2 so far and they have been entertained and have not asked for more. So I don't think it is going to kill my buget to download 1 or 2 a month. Money I would probably spend on books anyway! see less

I bought this Christmas 2011 for my 3 year old daughter. She loves it! I have not had any issues with it. Has worked great!! She is always playing it and wanting me to upload new songs and pictures. My daughter has used her innotab every day. She loves it!! The battery life is not that great but you get what you pay for, we bought duracell batteries and they lasted for 2 days. I plan on purchasing rechargeable batteries and the power cord. She watches movies on it, listens to music, plays games, paints, listens to stories...the possibilities with it are endless. Needless to say I am buying my niece one for her next birthday!! see less

I love this, we bought this for my 2 year old daughter (and will probably be buying one for 3yo too she has vreader and mobigo) I would definitely say however, this is NOT an educational toy. I haven't yet bought the cartridges (can't see spending 25 on something i just paid [$] for). The music player and video player are what gets used most. My daughter LOVES the drawing and coloring too. The ereader stories are pretty neat but they are the EXACT same content on the vreader and the games are the same in the Mobigo. I was hoping there would be some different content. This is fine for us because we own all 3 vtech tech toys and use this one solely for entertainment and the other ones as the educational tools. I wouldn't bother downloading games onto the innotab they don't play as well as the mobigo either. The one that we downloaded is my oldests fav (monkey disco) the monkey says a letter and you find it on your keyboard and press it. but on the innotab it says a letter and there are two on the screen you press the right one. How challenging is that? Anyway like i said this thing is GREAT for entertainment, just not really learning. see less
