I bought this before my baby was born, because I love seahorses and it reminded me of the glow worm I had as a child. We bought the blue one, since I think it's much cuter. SO glad we did, we take it everywhere with us when he's going to need naptime or bedtime. The music is a wonderful mix of classic tunes, with a soft "bubbling water" sound in the background. The music lasts 5 minutes, and my baby learned to push it's tummy and turn it back on. ALSO NOTE inside the Seahorse is a switch to make it loud or quiet. If you think it's too loud, open up it's back and turn it to the quiet setting! The batteries are safe from baby because you need a screwdriver to open the back. Quiet setting also helps prolong battery life. see less

My son loves to play with these. He crawls around all the time and picks these up and throws them. He was 9m old when he got them and that was about the perfect age for him. His dad has sat forever throwing/rolling them back and forth with him. It surprises me how far and hard he can throw them for his age but they have stood up to all of that. It's a great product and he loves to chew on the balls and spin the green dinosaur that the balls pass through to get to the bouncing stage. He also thinks it's funny watching the balls bounce everywhere...and I mean everywhere(I think the sides could have been a little higher to keep the balls in better.) I've been working with him to throw the balls back in. I would have liked to have seen a storage space for the balls though, I am constantly chasing the balls down because he gets them out of the dino's belly and rolls them everywhere. We were looking for a mat that we could put on a floor for our son's tummy time. We have two cats, so we needed something that we could place in our living room just for the time our son is playing and put it away easily when we don't need it. First we got an Edushape square foam mat. But it didn;t work well, because every time we put it away all the pieces were falling out. This one was EXACTLY what we needed. It is LARGE (40X60-they should put the size on a description), very bright. The picture on this website is not a very good one-the other side of this mat has squares with very bright colorful and fun pictures, with different textures and sound and a mirrow. You can use it on both sides. YOU CAN WASH IT!!!It's an excellent product. It is poorly advertised on Target website. In fact it is very very very nice. The only thing I didn't like is the ractangular shape-I prefer a square one. But this is just a personal preference. I give it 5 stars! see less

The Fisher-Price Stand-Up Ballcano™ isn't exactly what I expected because of it's name. Instead of spewing balls out of the top like a volcano, the balls roll from the top and down the sides of the legs, each having a different path for the balls to take before they are either caught in a tray at the base or roll off unpredictably (much like lava would flow, I suppose). The toy kept both of my boys entertained for quite a while. My oldest son enjoys collecting the balls and putting them all in the top and he can hardly wait to make them all roll down again! My youngest son enjoys all of the different music that the spinner plays. A great toy for someone with two kids in the toy's recommended age group. I had a lot of fun playing with them by chasing down the runaway balls. This toy definitely teaches sharing! see less

My kids did like it at first, and also for about the first 3 min each time they play. But it does the same thing over and over, and they lose interest. My husband & I decided not to go the route of buying our son a million electronic toys, preferring building toys & books. However this was a first birthday gift from friends, and he LOVES it. We love that the speaking voice and songs are among the better quality I have heard. Also, there is enough variety in the songs and games to not leave you wanting to bang your head up against a wall. Perfect to keep H. entertained when we are in the car, and for packing in his go bag. Battery life is holding up well with continued use. Overall, well worth the money. Would say from our experience, 6 months might be a little young, and 2 years a bit old. Would recommend for the 9-18 month range. see less

My child is 7 months old and is fascinated with remote controls. We bought this so that she'd have one of her own - and to keep her from accidentally reprogramming ours. She loves it. It plays several songs, silly sounds, and lights up at the top when a button is pressed. This keeps my child smiling and entertained for quite a while, especially if I sing along with the songs as they play. see less
