Hamilton Beach. I got my first food processor on Mother's Day. I was so happy that my husband gave me a food processor. I first used it to make a salad, and it made salad on easy. The slicer was so good when I sliced the cumbers, as a matter of fact it did a good job slicing. And, I especially liked how it locked in place which in my opinion is good safety feature, especially if you have grandchildren nearby in the kitchen. And, it is quick another good feature. I am planning to buy each of my girls one for Christmas. And, I have four daughters, and one daughter-in-law. I'm very happy with my Hamilton Beach, and I hope the girls will be too. see less

Unless Kitchen Aid has changed the design of this product since seeing these reviews I think some people shouldn't be in the kitchen! I'm making my own baby food and my blender overheated! This processor is great at pureeing! Granted I've only used it for two days, but I make a lot of baby food all at once and it's quite a work horse! see less

I purchased this KitchenAid Food Processor yesterday from my local Target store. I was a bit skeptical because of all the negative reviews online. I can assure anyone that is interested in buying this product the previous negative reviewers are idiots. I took the food processor out of the box and had it assembled and working in less than 5 minutes. I then proceeded to wash all the parts. And reassembled the food processor, and surprise, I put it together again in less than 5 minutes. If you look at the bowl it clearly has grooves to guide you where it locks in to place. This is a great product that has taken residence on my counter instead of being shoved in a cabinet. It's quick, easy to clean, and provides consistently sliced, chopped, minced, or shredded results. Some of the things that annoyed me in a previously purchased processor were resolved with this one! Features I love are 1- Allows you to set it to either low or high and not continue to hold down the button -unless you pulse. 2- Chopping blade locks into place - not something my previous processor had, so when I'd pour my processed food, the blade would fall out with the food. 3- Adjustable slicer, which allows you to perfectly select the thickness you'd like. Complaints are 1- The base is large and consumes more space than my previous processor. I have a ton of kitchen electrics, so finding space for them can be difficult. 2- Safety feature that that requires you to have the lid on facing the front. No big deal, but if you're not aware, you may believe that the processor doesn't work. The author of this review received a free sample of the product. see less

I was in the market for a KitchenAid, but didn't want to spend the money for a larger sized processor. This food processor is FABULOUS, I have used it several times, put it in the dishwasher on the top rack and have had NO problems. The blades are sharp, the motor is strong, it is easy to put together/take apart/ wash. I am so glad I didn't go theexpensive route. I make laundry soap, dish soap, and foods with mine. It is perfect for crafts and foods because it holds up strong. GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT PRICE!! see less

I received this as a wedding gift, and I love it! It simplifies almost anything I cook. I am very sensitive to onion fumes, and would dread any recipe that required me to chop an onion. Now it's done in seconds. I use it often to slice carrots. If I put them in tall, I get coins. If I chop them to the width of the mouth and stack them, I get juliened slices like you would find in restaurants-- perfect for stir-fry dishes. I've also used it to shred vegetables to sneak into pasta dishes, the chop nuts to use as a garnish or topping, and to chop and mix garbanzo beans for falafel-- it used to take forever, but now it's so much better! I've nothing but praises for this machine. see less

We bought Giada's food processor when they first were released. It has been in use for several years now and all the time and have never had any problems. I have used all the attachment blades which have worked good. I have also used this for both hot and cold food items. I picked this up last year and LOVE it. It was half the price of a Kitchen Aid processor, and I love that there are only two discs-reversible shredding/slicing, and one blade, so you don't need to keep track of a bunch of different accessories. I have made coconut butter, mayonnaise, puree vegetables and everything else. Super easy to clean, and works as good as the day I bought it. see less

It grinds bran cereal into perfect breadcrumbs for diet recipes, mixes salmon into a smooth paste, and makes the task of making turkey meatloaf into one of ease, not mess. I have had my food mill for over 3 years now. I used it to make all my baby food for both kids. I have never had a problem with it. It is super easy to use. I love that you can remove the blades and it basically becomes a bowl to feed from. Even though we are past baby food stages, I still use my food mill as a mini food processor. It is also very easy to clean and does not take up much space. I would highly recommend this product. see less

I'm so glad I bought this! I can turn almost any meal I have into a meal for my son! It purees very smooth with the turbo button. My son gets scared by loud noises, but this does not scare him like a blender would. I also use it to make dips or anything else in a smaller quantity. see less

Love it, use it multiple times a week. Only warning I have is when you unbox it, be careful. The food processor blade for ours got loose and it is very sharp. For using it, make sure you follow the directions. The device has a lot of safety measures and will not turn on unless they are all accounted for. see less

Just bought this for the wife. She tried chopping nuts in it. It shakes like those people possessed in a horror movie and the blade is useless. She has to hold it down so it doesn't fly all over the place. Soon as she finishes making what she started, back in the box it goes and returning it. Will go spend another [$] and get a good [$] model which is what I should have done at the outset. Don't waste your time or money on this product. see less

This Food Processor is a life saver. I was tired of making 3-4 mini batches in a 3c Processor so I finally got this one. I read one of the lower reviews that says it only holds "3-4 cups of processed foods" and that it spilled out of the hole in the center but I bought it anyway since I know that has happened to me with a smaller one I own. It does read in the manual that you should not exceed 4c of processed food in the large bowl but I filled it to the very top and it processed all of it perfectly. I was wise enough to scoop some out before I removed the bowl to avoid the spilling issue. The Contents filled a 2.5qt corningware dish, that is over 10 cups. AWESOME!! The bowl is generous enough to use a large spoon or ladle in it too. see less

Just bought it yesterday, took it out of the box to make a fresh batch of salsa. I filled up the bowl probably about half full, it chopped up everything very well and very easily. But when I removed the bowl to pour into a different container, salsa started dripping out from the middle. Huge bummer, because it was a really nice product otherwise. It's going back to the store! see less
