GENERAL COMMENTS- We recently got the dining table and 4 matching chairs for use on our paver patio. The table and chairs were shipped separately, but both arrived in a timely fashion.[...]. Overall, our patio is around 12 by 13 and the table and chairs fit comfortably along with a few other items.
ASSEMBLY- Putting the table together was a breeze! It took a total of around 15 minutes to assemble. Assembly involves nothing more than a handful of screws, and the tool needed was included.
STABILITY- The table, by itself, is extremely light being nothing more than aluminum. With that said, it doesn't appear to be overly stable, however we did have a strong storm right after we set it up and with the chairs around it the table didn't move. For piece of mind we placed an umbrella with a cement base into the center of the table which seems to add to the stability, and with two small children was more of what we were looking for.
STORAGE- We plan on storing the table inside for the winter, but with the assembly as easy as it was, we'll most likely take it apart for ease of storage. We've found with most products inside storage seems to add to the longevity of the items.
Overall this table is a good value for the price. I researched ALOT of metal - all weather tables before hitting submit on this one. It's by far the best value for the price. It looks cute on my small back patio/brick patio. The matching chairs complement it nicely. It was pretty easy to put together but did take two of us - - One down side is the tiny, itty bitty wrench...I hate those small wrenches - built for kids! I mean, can they not use "real" screws or something? Other than that, I am pleased.
I got the patio table and the four chairs of this series with an existing shade umbrella. The assembly that is required is actually quite simple, quick, and painless. The instructions scared me when it refers to not exposing the patio furniture to inclement weather. Where do they think a patio is? However, the warning appears to be completely unnecessary as it weathers outside just fine. The table is of an attractive aluminum construction with slats with spaces between not big enough to affect the balance of drink cups etc. but enough to prevent rain water from pooling on the table. I am happy with my new outdoor patio table and chairs. No real negatives.
