My three year old grandson loves everything about Jake and the Neverland Pirates. He eats, sleeps and plays in his Jake costume. You cannot give a better gift to a child who loves being Jake the pirate than his own little play tent ship. For a toy it very well built and good quality. It gives him hours of entertainment. He even sleeps in it. see less

I was so excited to give this to my son for Christmas. He loves Spiderman and I thought it would be a great indoor toy or hideout. We opened the box this morning and immediately realized the flashlight did not work. And yes we put batteries in. The backpack is really just a very cheaply made pouch. I was disappointed to see that the tent does not have a bottom, but I figured you get what you pay for and it would only be used indoors, so it wasn't that big of a deal. My son LOVED it when he got to take his nap in it. Shortly after that, my daughter accidentally tripped and ran into it. One of the things that holds the tent pole sections together snapped in half instantly, and I don't believe it can be fixed. I know I did not pay a lot for this item, but I would have expected it to hold up more than 6 hours. As it is, I basically have a child's sleeping bag I could have bought anywhere for a fraction of the price. Don't waste your money on this product. It's not worth it! see less

This toy looked like so much fun. My son loved it for about the first 5 minutes, then the ball shooter piece fell apart, I mean all the plastic seams just started to separate! It's pitiful. There is no way to patch that, then even the balls are all splitting at the seams and breaking in half. The Spaceship part the kids love though, it's all inflatable like those kinds you can use in a pool or something, and the backpack is inflatable, a bit bulky and doesn't stay on too well but my son still plays with it, he just can' shoot the balls, So other than the hard plastic parts (the red ball shooter piece and the balls) it's not too bad, but I got it cause I knew my kids would love the ball shooting part, and my son was pretty bummed when it only lasted about 5 minutes. So if you like the backpack part and the space ship then its great, but don't count on the shooter part. see less

My son received this for his 4th birthday, and the ship popped a hole the next day. He was not jumping up and down on it, nor was it poked with anything. He fell on the inflated side while climbing in, and by that evening, it was deflated. This toy encourages imaginative play which can't help but get active at times, and this toy is definitely not designed to withstand much activity! I didn't bother with the patch it came with because he hadn't played a full hour with it before it sprang a leak, so I knew more leaks were in the future. I'm returning it. see less

I hesitated on ordering this because of the bad reviews, but my 7 year old is really into star wars so i went ahead and got it. It is nice a roomy ( he is very tall for his age and weighs 100lbs and has no problem in it. As long as you dont have numerous rowdy kids playing rough in it ( Im guessing thats what really happened with the people who claimed poor construction) it is well worth the money and your child will love hanging out in their own "star wars ship" see less

We bought this in 2008, but the kids ripped it to shreds. Purchased "redesigned" control center in 2009. Redesign is that it is 10" smaller all around than previous version! Very disappointed. They use younger children on the box art to make it look bigger. However, kids may still enjoy it. see less

We bought this for our son, and it came missing parts. Within days it had tears and holes, and he does not play roughly with his toys. I tried for months to work with the company to replace it, giving them all the information and pictures that they requested, and they eventually quit answering my emails. Stay away! see less

We purchased this tent in a set for our 2 year old for christmas. He really enjoys playing in it, but he is a very careful 2 year old. If your child is more rambunctious, then this may not be the tent for you. It has lasted much longer than the previous tent we had which he destroyed in a few days. This tent has more sturdy rods and I think that makes a difference since the other tent had plastic rods that cracked. see less

My son loves this ball pit! My husband and I got it for him for his 1st birthday and he is still playing with it at 17 months. The only down side is that we needed to add an additional 100 balls. see less
