We had an absolute blast with this pool. It was a great size and value for the money. After spending money on swimming lessons for my daughter, between the age of 3 to 4 years, she just never got the hang of it... and probably the "fun" of it. Within a week of having the pool, she was swimming without arm floaties, touching the bottom of the pool, and just got stronger as the summer went on. I added a Salt Water Filter and Solar Cover as well, which was money well spent. I am 6'4" and still thought the pool was plenty big to have myself and a few neighborhood kids in at the same time. This pool was very easy to set up.... about 2 hours before adding water. I just took it down this past weekend, which was a little bit tougher than I had hoped, but still easy overall. see less

We have used our Intex pool for several seasons. Yes, the ground work can take some time, but that is not a reflection on the pool. Our pump has worked flawlessly for several seasons and we only have to change the filter every other week. This pool stood up well for us this year. The liner seems to be nice and thick. We had some trouble getting a level base, but hopefully next year will be easier. we'll use dirt rather than our sandy dirt, and also a larger tarp underneath. The pool was not completely level, but lasted all summer without tipping over completely. This was a nice upgrade from the inflatable ring pool. Just wish the ladder was a little more sturdy, but it didn't break on us, so it did it's job, and I am a big person. Was just a bit scarey at the top of the ladder. LOL. Would love to have a salt water system, too. Maybe when the pump fails us, we'll upgrade. see less

We buy this pool every year...only because we forget to put it away for the winter and then it gets cracked. But we love this pool. We have 2 young boys and it's perfect for them and us to fit in. I got this one hot day for my two-year old daughter. I had a little air pump to blow up the parts that needed it, and that still took about 20 to 25 minutes, but after that was done and the hose was hooked up, it was ready to go. We've already used this a dozen times and my daughter and playmates love it. The blown up parts have stayed blown up, and there have been no holes. It's the perfect depth for my 2 year-old to stay safe, they have fun with the squirting water, and because the water is always recycling, the water always stays clean and cool. It's even perfect for me to dip my feet into and stay refreshed in the sun. Definitely a good buy, worth the money, and I will be buying this as gifts for the younger kids I know throughout the summer. see less

When I got this I had no idea what to expect, I had read the few reviews and was excited, but I had no idea just how much my two year old would enjoy this sprinkler pool. Mind you it took me a minute to get it all blown up and set up properly, but once we did it was fantastic, he must have spent a half hour in there just splashing around having a great time! We have used it about 7 times now and haven't had any issues with holes or tears! Its been absolutely fantastic! Can't say enough great things about it! Great deal, easy set up with some help. Use level ground, tarps and sand to protect bottom lining of pool as it is thin. Fills in about 10 hours. Ideal for 4 kids and 2 adults. Gets you wet, cools you down, provides basics for kids pool parties. The outer ring is a lil thin use caution when letting dogs in pool. This was our second pool cause the 10x30 was just too small for us. No ladder to get in. Gotta kinda roll in and out. True to size on this one as compared to the 10x30. It was more like a 8x25. I'm on year 2 of this pool and think it is fantastic! Yes, you need to be sure the ground is "completely level" but it does say that and yes you need a small air compressor to blow up the ring, but I used an air mattress pump and it worked great. As long as you read the directions and plan accordingly it goes up fine. And in year two it went up even quicker!! I think it's totally reasonable in price and enjoy it all summer long. I have no doubts I will get another year or two out of it. see less

The 14x42 Ultra Liner has well worth the price. It might have taken a little more than 45 minutes to step up it was worth the extra 15 minutes to set up. The Pool is sturdier than regular intex pool. The pump and the surface skimmer work great. The pump cleans the pool, you can see this when you change and clean the filter, the water is crystal clear. The only tiny problem, just started to fill the pool and strech the liner notice a pin hole in the pool bottom, got the repair kit and patched the hole and the it worked. I would recomend this pool for the family looking to get a sturdi wall pool. see less

My grandson fell in this pool. bottom is very slippery when wet. More importantly for child safety, slide is not flush with the side of the pool. For a small child, it creates a tunnel between the slide and side of the pool. A child could get trapped in this space or even held under the water if another child holds them down while on the slide.....VERY SCARY !!!! Also, very disappointed with the so called squirt gun. A squirt gun is filled with water and the kids squirt from it. This one has to be attached to the hose. While the kids are working this "SQUIRT GUN" they are getting all tangled in the hose. I, of course, supervise my Grandson while in this pool, but he is now afraid of it. I must either go thru the aggrivation of taking it down to return it or eat the expense of making it safe...i.e. not using the slide or squirt gun and putting non-slip grips on bottom. The manufacturer MUST be made aware of these safety issues. see less

Just bought this pool. Quick and easy set up. Took my son and I 30 min to put together. Took about 2 1/2 hrs to fill it with water. Like the other reviews say...make sure you are on level ground. One thing I forgot to do but it's not that bad maybe off by 1in on one side. Love the pool, lots of room for floaties! I've had this Intex pool for 4 years, and it just keeps on giving.Previous to the Intex I had another named brand...not at all is as sturdy as Intex.I hope they do not stop making this size as the smaller diameter is only 30 in depth. I take the filter cartridge out weekly and rinse, they last longer and keep the pool cleaner, and I also have a skimmer and cover, which keeps the bugs out.Great item Target & Intex!!!!! see less

I can't rave enough about this pool! My only regret is that I didn't buy the bigger one (15 x 42). I was a little bit hesitant to buy it...I didn't have a clue how to take care of a pool...but once you set it up and use it, the time it takes to care for it is WELL worth it. I did buy the starter chemical kit, which I highly recommend, and extra filters, and the pool net cleaner (we used part of our winter roof rake pole as a handle for the net saving some money). Also, I recently bought the floating feeder for the chlorine which is awesome...I should have bought it right away since chlorine can't just be thrown into the pool whole. You do have to change the filters at least every 2 weeks...and you can clean them half way through that time for better filtering. I know it sounds like I bought a lot of extras, but it was worth it (it all cost about $$$ extra dollars). I used to hate summer because it was too hot to be in the backyard~~ now I welcome horrible hot humid Minnesota summer days! We LOVE our Intex pool!!! see less

After much reading and researching if you haven't tried this pool for fear of not understanding how to set up and enjoy, then just "jump right in 'cause the waters GREAT!" It was the easiest equipment to put together, and by far I would highly recommend this to anyone with a small backyard that just wants a chance to cool off in the mass heat waves we have here in Texas. My daughter just turned 1 year old, and we love this pool! The water depth is perfect for a little one, and she loves the spray. We were worried that it'd waste tons of water if we kept the spray going, but it takes almost no water pressure to keep the spray at the level shown in the picture. It's also nice that the canopy shields the sun a bit so you're not having to constantly apply sunscreen. Highly recommended! see less

Banzai pools get a bad rep and they are cheap in quality. Expect this to last no more than one season with just a little bit of wear and tear by toddlers. That said, it's loads of fun for little ones and doesn't use/hold a lot of water to keep a little one entertained. It has several good features that pricier pools have as well as a few quirks unique to cheaper pools.The pool material is made out of something like stretchy fruit rollup, not the more traditional squeaky pool material you might think of. There are 5 separate areas to blow up (main circle, arch circle+eyes, back spine, and 2 fins...we skipped these and tucked them under). The hose attachment for the sprinkler is RIGHT up against the main circle of the pool, so there's little flexibility to position the pool to reach a hose. Very little pressure is needed to run the sprinkler. The bottom has a flip-up drain so you don't have to try and lift it to dump the water (although with the shape and weight, that's also easy to do). As another reviewer also said, it's a great height for a toddler to step in and out to 'safely' have fun splashing. And the shade the pool provides if you position it appropriately is also great. see less

Our 18' x 48" Intex pool worked without any leaks for 3 years. The 4th year, we had a slow leak and had to put a little water in every 3 days to top it up. I am very happy with this pool. We took it down every fall and put it in unheated storage, took good care of it. We got it from a different supplier for $ dollars at the end of the year so we got every cent out of it and more. Now, I'm happy to find it again on the Target website. I've been looking for it and the 18' has been hard to find. I wouldn't mind a larger one really but I'll get this because it is still very reasonable and I can't find a larger pop-up. The only downside was that the pump only lasted 2 years so we had to replace. Happy summer, Happy swimming. see less

We ordered this pool to replace the one we had before it (the 15 footer) but accidentally thought it was the same one. Yes, it is bigger, but it is also put together way better. I like the skimmer/pump system. It is a great pool for the backyard. I would recommend it. We have not had to put it away for the end of summer yet, which may be difficult as it is pretty heavy but we have been really pleased with it so far. see less

We had this pool for 2 years and it worked GREAT! It is the perfect size! When our son was an infant, it was big enough for an adult to sit in and for him to float around in a little floatie. As he got bigger, (1-2years old) it was still the perfect size for him to swim in. It lasted 2 years and we only had to get rid of it because a dog got in it and put several holes in it. We purchased a different kind of pool as this was unavailable at the time and it broke within a few weeks. My son misses his whale and we are getting another one. Not sure about the reviews stating it deflates quickly- you must have gotten a dud- we never had that problem. Hope this helps! see less

My 1.5 year old daughter loves this pool. She needs a hand to step in and out of the pool but loves to lean against the squishy air filled sides. We never used the sprinkler part of it. I'm actually on here buying a new pool because we took care of a friend's dog and she jumped into the pool and punctured the bottom badly. This has held up well other than this event. One thing I will say though is that I had to continuously empty the pool and partially deflate it to do so. The bottom and sides got mildewy. I simply let it airdry out in the sun and refilled it the next day. It took literally less than a minute to inflate the ring (not incl the "tail") using an airpump. I love that it's ready in a jiffy! This pool is great! The sprinkler adds a nice function for when they don't feel like sitting in the pool, but want to get wet/cooled off. The tail curves over the pool and provides some shade (and protection from the sprinkler). It is plenty big enough for both of my children (3.5yo twins) and a friend or two. This pool is the cutest baby pool i have ever seen! It is 30 dollars very well spent! I bought it last night because can't deal with the heat already and it's only may, we actually plan on buying a regular pool next week but this was for the time being and I couldn't be more pleased with it. My son is 16 months and he was having a blast with it, the water that comes out of the giraffe is perfect you can adjust your water pressure of hose if it's too much. I held his hand going down the slide and the slide is pretty stable, my sisters who are also 5 and 3 used it and the slide worked well for them. The padding at bottom of slide works well also. You have to get a pump which is also worth buying you will definitely need it in future, so a good product ranging from toddler to about 5 or 6 years old. well worth the 30 bucks! see less

We bought our pool in the fall of 2006. We have been using it since the summer of 2007 and it is still working great(pool and filter)! We take it down every fall and have never had a problem setting it back up in the spring. Our yard is not quite level but over the years we have found that water noodles work great to level it and prevent the pool from tipping the lower side. Our kids swim in it every day over the summer and it was well worth the money we spent on it!! see less

This is a great pool! My 8 year old daughter and her friends have spent hours in it. Nice pool for the adults to grab a raft and float around in also. I gave a lower score to quality because the pump is weak, it works, but is whimpy. The whole salt water thing looked to complicated for us. We use an occasional shock, maybe a little ph-up, and keep the filter clean. We may grab a stronger pump and sand filter off of [.] in the off season. BEST thing we have ever spent money on!!!!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! This is our 4th summer with it and it is still going strong!! We take it down in October and store it in our garage so it will not get weathered. We also had a cement pad poured for it so we would not have to worry about it being level. Goes up in an hour. Also invested in the Intex Salt Water System. Another great buy!! NO CHEMICALS!!!! Second summer we added a solar system for about [$] and yesterday our pool was 85 degrees!!!!! We got this pool when my son was 2.5 years old. He loved it! He slid down the slide over and over, and loved the waterfall feature. The waterfall is very temperamental, though. You have to have it on at just a trickle. If you turn the water on too high, the tube will come apart from the hose and start spewing water everywhere. Then you have to reattach the tube to the hose and start over. But once you get that down, it's a piece of cake. The set up is also so easy! You blow up the dinosaurs, then the slide, and finally the pool. When I would take it down, I would just leave the slide and dinosaurs inflated and collapse the pool and fold it around the slide. After one summer, the slide got a hole so I just cut it away from the pool and we got to use it for one more year! This product is not perfect, but for a backyard blow-up pool it's pretty great. see less

This Intex pool is good quality for their lower line of pools.The pool material is a heavier traditional squeaky pool material you expect. There are 3 separate areas to blow up (main circle, slide, and waterfall arch). The valves are NOT one-way, so it takes coordination and extra air to keep it inflated. The hose attachment for the waterfall has a little lead tube ~8" with on/off spigot so it's more convenient to hook up to a hose. Very little pressure is needed to run the waterfall. The bottom has a flip-up drain but because it sits high, you have to lift the pool to funnel the remaining 1" of water to the drain.It's tough to deflate this pool fully because the air valve for the slide is located inside and opposite the exhaust valve for the outer ring so it's virtually impossible to squeeze all the air out of both. And apparently the instructions mention NOTHING of a large CAP for the main exhaust valve...screw it into place before you leave your air compressor running for 5 minutes waiting for some air to stay! The cap is very handy for exhausting quickly though. see less

We filled the tube with an air compressor and it only took minutes. As long as the pool is on even ground it will fill evenly. If you have a slope to your lawn you will have issues. We placed our on our back patio concrete and there is a slight slope but no issues. You need to maintain this pool with chemicals and change the filter every two weeks. They run about [...]. Surprisingly the filter really picks up some nasty gunk. We are totally impressed to get this good of a pool for the price [...] and plan to get at least 3 more years of out it. see less

First off, the first year we had ours, we blew it up by mouth, unless you have asthma or emphesyma, this shouldn't really be that hard. I've had pool floats that require more air. The 2nd & 3rd year we used our [$] zark Trail electric air mattress pump to fill our ring. [...] It is literally a huge bag that you fill with water. Regarding the comment about the water not filling the pool evenly... that means you didn't put the pool on LEVEL ground. You have to put ANY pool on a level surface and the angle of your backyard is not exactly a pool manufacturer's fault. [...] It seems as though the reviewers of this item were expecting an olympic quality pool for less than [$]. This is the first year I've had the printed pool, but we've had the smaller 8 ft size Intex pool for the past 4 years. My first pool AND pump is still in great condition, we just wanted to upsize. If you take care of your pool & follow the instructions, you shouldn't have a problem! see less

I got this for my 2 year old twin girl cousins in California when I went to visit them in their city, and they LOVED it. Absolutely LOVED it. It was super durable considering they're 2, and liked to sit and squirm around on the edges. They LOVED the little sprinkler!! One of them kept dipping they're head under it, as if it was a shower, then would sit down and kick the water, saying "I LIKE it!!" Needless to say, its SUPER fun for the kids, and I LOVE how the sprinkler fills it up while providing extra fun!!! This is our second year with the pool, and it's my key to sanity. My two kids, 7 and 10, usually argue nonstop but get along like the Brady kids as soon as the pool goes up. At 4 feet it's just deep enough for them to really swim, play and have fun, but not so deep that I have to stand watch every second. We've had up to 8 kids in the pool at once, and the pool was fine. It would be nice if the included filter was a bit more powerful, but it does the job. I say every year...best investment we made! see less

We bought this pool yesterday for our 2 1/2 yr old son. So far so good. He was in it yesterday and already wanting to go in again. Quality has been fine so far. Draining is a little difficult but come on, it's 72 gallons of water. Also, when I filled it back up this morning, I also had to blow it up a little to get it firmed up again. It's a plastic blow up pool! Anything plastic is going to deflate a little. One nice feature is that the slide is attached. We got a little pool last summer where the slide keep falling off if our son wasn't sitting right in the middle. Really sturdy and safe. So far, this has been a great pool for the price. see less

I bought this for my son after the first pool we got him (different style/maker/design) was a dud. The one we have is slightly different (just the pattern printed on it and the slide doesnt have the outside "ladder". It is extremely sturdy and my son LOVES it! the waterfall works great and the slide is just as wonderful! I would recommend this to anyone!!! see less

we blew it up late at night that way we could see if it would deflate before we filled it up and in a matter of 4 hours theop ring had deflated but not a ton so we just pumped it back up and used it anyways since it was 108 outside and we didn't have time to take it back only to find it the next morning totally flat. Don't waste your money this thing doesn't hold air for anything and isn't worth the [$].....save your money and buy a better pool. see less

I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. I purchased this for a 4 year old and a one year old. There is plenty of room, the sprayer works fine, and it has been inflated for a month. We move it to mow. The only problem was that the slide was unstable so we just took it out. Yes, I would purchase it again. The kids love it. see less

I was very concerned about getting this pool blown up adequately for the dragon head to stand up and the slide to be sturdy enough to ride down. We used a compressor and so far so good. The dragon head is much bigger than pictured here and I can imagine my son and a couple friends playing in it comfortably. They are all 16-18 months old. Hopefully it will hold up to the summertime and be fun for him! Really just wanted to tell everyone that If you are having issues, try to use a compressor. see less

I read lots of reviews on this pool most positive some negative. I have to agree with the positive, this pool is awesome! If you purchase from Target it comes with the 2650 sand filter even though if you call they say no filter comes with because it is not listed but the customer service for Intex told the filter they had also purchased the krystal clear salt water system so far the pool maintenance hasn't been easier. I love this pool. Setting up is a little time consuming recommend a little vegetable oil to help the frame to slide in place. Will update with use but so far awesome pool. see less

After reading several reviews of non-Intex pool systems for sale online at [...] I began searching only for the Intex brand.I searched everywhere and on the off chance, I checked the Target website. They had the best price.It was the right thing to do. I purchased an 18 x 10 and it is great. For me, the real bonus was the purchase of the Intex unit that allowed for saltwater conversion. It is great for the skin and very easy to maintain. Family members are intrigued by the fun we are having with it including one of the disabled members. We have to acquire a lift to give access to the pool to the disable, but in the south, water equals fun, when it is blazing hot.Set on level hard surface if it is available, then level grass if no concrete, or level sand if nothing else is available see less

My kids love this! Set up was super easy and didn't take very long at all. It was tedious to find and blow up all the different holes in pool itself and then there was the toys. But not too long or difficult with an auto blower. I did struggle at first because I didn't read the directions and on the base of the pool there is a giant hole. This hole needs to first be plugged with the plug that comes with it and then it blows up so nice. What makes it even better is when you are ready to release the air, you just unplug it! It makes it so much easier! I also love that there is a plug in the bottom of the two different pools. It makes emptying to pool so much nicer! see less

I just got this for my 3 year old daughter. Right out of the box you can tell it's very well made. With a pump, it doesn't take too much time to blow up and you can even blow up the additional pieces yourself, like parts of the slide and extra toys while the pool is airing up. The sprinkler part around the side is great too! You don't need to turn on the water much at all to get 6 foot high sprays, so it doesn't use a ton of water for that aspect. Overall I'm so happy with this purchase! My daughter loves it and I can see it lasting a long time! see less
