Just bought this pool. Quick and easy set up. Took my son and I 30 min to put together. Took about 2 1/2 hrs to fill it with water. Like the other reviews say...make sure you are on level ground. One thing I forgot to do but it's not that bad maybe off by 1in on one side. Love the pool, lots of room for floaties! My husband joined us and he's 6'7, we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the pool.
We purchased this pool last August on end of summer [$] It was well worth the money!!! My children ages 20 months and 4 years LOVE it. It is the perfect size for them, and the maintenance -being a busy mom of 2- is easy enough. [..] This is a great pool for young children, as well as, parents!
We've had the pool 3 years! It's served it's purpose and then some. We did buy another new one on clearance for next season as the frame has begun to rust, just being cautious. Would highly recommend these pols with salt water generator too, best thing we ever did(had a 18'x36' chlorine oval for 10 years - nightmare to keep clean). My husband assembles by himself, very easy...just a few hours.
We purchased this pool a few days ago from our local Target store, and we are extremely happy with this purchase. It took my husband and 9 year old daughter about two hours to set the pool up today. We have been filling it with water since then, and we expect it will be finished by tomorrow morning. The pool is made of a very heavy duty material, and it seems to be extremely durable. We have previously owned the blow up style backyard pools, and this year decided to upgrade. This seems like it was well worth the extra money. The pool comes with most of the accessories you need. It includes a ladder, filter, ground tarp, and cover. I purchased chlorine tablets and a chrorine floater for an additional twenty dollars. So far, we are pleased!
We had an absolute blast with this pool. It was a great size and value for the money. After spending money on swimming lessons for my daughter, between the age of 3 to 4 years, she just never got the hang of it... and probably the "fun" of it. Within a week of having the pool, she was swimming without arm floaties, touching the bottom of the pool, and just got stronger as the summer went on.
I added a Salt Water Filter and Solar Cover as well, which was money well spent. I am 6'4" and still thought the pool was plenty big to have myself and a few neighborhood kids in at the same time.
This pool was very easy to set up.... about 2 hours before adding water. I just took it down this past weekend, which was a little bit tougher than I had hoped, but still easy overall.
BEST thing we have ever spent money on!!!!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! This is our 4th summer with it and it is still going strong!! We take it down in October and store it in our garage so it will not get weathered. We also had a cement pad poured for it so we would not have to worry about it being level. Goes up in an hour. Also invested in the Intex Salt Water System. Another great buy!! NO CHEMICALS!!!! Second summer we added a solar system for about [$] and yesterday our pool was 85 degrees!!!!! Perfect size for us!!!
This is our second year with the pool, and it's my key to sanity. My two kids, 7 and 10, usually argue nonstop but get along like the Brady kids as soon as the pool goes up. At 4 feet it's just deep enough for them to really swim, play and have fun, but not so deep that I have to stand watch every second. We've had up to 8 kids in the pool at once, and the pool was fine. It would be nice if the included filter was a bit more powerful, but it does the job. I say every year...best investment we made!
I have active kids and their friends and this has held up for 2 summers and will for a couple more I expect. LEVEL is essential and the hardest part of any above ground pool. 2 days hard work to get level ground and 2 hours to set up the pool. Presto.
We've had no leaks.
Get the saltwater system. It rocks! I have ONLY added salt and vacuumed. Zero extra chemicals. It sparkles.
One happy, lazy mom. Nuff said.
This is a wonderful pool, easy to set up, maintain, and take down. Unfortunately we stored it in a shed that had some mice and they made a mess of it and now we need to buy some new parts. I would recommend this pool to all!
This is a great pool! My 8 year old daughter and her friends have spent hours in it. Nice pool for the adults to grab a raft and float around in also. I gave a lower score to quality because the pump is weak, it works, but is whimpy. The whole salt water thing looked to complicated for us. We use an occasional shock, maybe a little ph-up, and keep the filter clean. We may grab a stronger pump and sand filter off of [.] in the off season. Other than that we have no complaints and have had it up for three months.
I have had several Intex pools in the past and always HATED the filter pumps that took those little paper cartridges. I knew this time around I wanted a sand filter pump and since this pool came with the sand pump I took a chance. This pump is awesome!!! It is so much stronger than any of the cartridge pumps I've had in the past. So far it has kept my water crystal clear....something the cartridge pumps never did! While I do wish this pool had come with a vacuum and surface skimmer that was easily remedied by ordering both off of amazon. The liner and poles on this pool are definitely made better than blue liner pools and the design of the pool is a HUGE improvement compared to the older style intex pools. Overall I am thrilled!!
Set up really was a breeze. We rented a sod cutter and made sure to get the ground level before we started. I have heard these do not have to be as level as the easy set pools, but after spending [$] on a pool we wanted to be problem free once we put it together.
Easy to put together
Filter and pool is sturdy and seems to be of heavy duty quality
Grey outside, and blue and white inside looks nice
Comes with cover and ground cloth
No vacuum have to purchase that seperate.
This thing is heavy!!! but hey its a big pool what do you expect
No included patch kit...purchased one at [...] just in case
After it fills I will come back and update
