Once the paper feeder grabbed 10 sheets of paper, but only once so far. The duplex print worked perfect when I tested it, and yes, it is selectable so it can be turned off. The scanner is excellent, with a preview scan so the final scan can be adjusted. Wireless is excellent. My laptop says "The Toolbox could not be loaded." If I knew what that was, I could fill the toolbox and maybe it would be loaded. Both the laptop (connected with wireless) and the desktop (connected by USB) kept telling me the scanner was not available, even though it always was. I could not correct this, either, so just asked that it not be loaded at start-up. This did not affect the scanner in any way. Overall, great product. Excellent product for the cost. see less

It is great for home usage it's easy hookup just read the directions.The best part is it's wireless and easy to use.The only thing I noticed is it's a little noisy when in use.I think the ink cartridges are a little bit expensive.I haven't found a cheap ink cartridge yet . see less

It can scan to pdf , or to jpg, or other formats.As, is a scanner dedicated, it has a very much longer life than the brief usable life of the disposable scanners used in the all-in-ones. The quality is very much higher than the all-in-ones. Also, it has star energy saving electric power. This is exactly the scanner for a small, or, medium size , or even great size, office. As all scanners it is better than when not in use, cover it against dust particles in your office. The printer works well - lots of features, fonts, etc. I would highly recommend it for home as well as office use. My only complaint is that I did not understand that it does not come with the adaptor; it must be purchased separately. It can be operated with batteries - which long-term is not cost effective. I bought this for use around the house. I also bought the iron on label tape so I could label my mother's clothes for the nursing home. It is always so hard to try and write her name onto different types of material. This way I can print out her name and just iron it into an inconspicuous place on her clothes. Also used it to re-label the breaker box after changes were made to it. It's simple and easy to use and that works for me. see less

Having bought this Epson before, I do know personally' they make great printers. I am now ready to buy this XP-800 over the XP-600, mainly because of the sale price it offered, with a few dollars more, this is it! Weighing the Pros an Cons, the excellent features an speed has far outweigh the minor issues. All printers are not perfect, the only issue I have is hoping someday Epson can find a way to give consumers lower Ink costs for this model. see less

The XP 800 is a fantastic All-in-one! Just installed yesterday to our Mac and the installation was fast and easy. WiFi set up was very easy. Test prints came out great. Epson packs a couple 4x6 photo pages, so we tested the photo quality prints and we're very pleased. The printer is compact, low profile and sleek looking. So far, very good printer. see less

Just got this scanner. Setting it up was a snap, it works great for my needs. I handle accounting type work out of my home. Most of what I scan is less than 20 pages. BW runs through quick. I wanted the feature to lift the top to scan things that wouldn't feed. It comes in handy since I had to scan my color driver's license. Wow, the color scan looks same quality as the original. see less

The printer is awesome. I have enjoyed playing with it as I learn the many, many things there are that can be done with this label maker. I love all the symbols and pictures that are available. I still haven't mastered all that there is to know about this label maker. I love almost everything about it. I find that the instruction sheet is a little difficult to figure out. It would be better in a booklet format. The lettering is too small. I have to use a magnifying glass to read it. Overall I'm very pleased with it. see less

Without a doubt, this is the best, most fully-featured label printer I have ever owned! As indicated in previous reviews, there is a bit of a learning curve associated with using this product due to it's numerous features, but once you experiment with it for a while it becomes second nature. I especially like the numerous tapes available for the printer which makes it useful for many different applications. The barcode application is perfect for home inventory purposes, and the backlit display makes it very easy to use in low-light conditions. Whatever you need to organize, this little gem will fit the bill! The Epson LW-400 definitely rates a solid five stars for home and small business use. No other brand compares with its long list of features and choices of label styles, font styles and sizes, border options and symbols. The Epson LW-400 is a winner in every respect! see less

I bought my LW-400 primarily as a novelty item as I had always wanted one. I have already found many useful applications for it as well. I sell photographs, and I am now able to quickly and efficiently print a custom tag to adhere the to the back of the frame. Using the 3/4" labels, I am able to print 3 lines of text to accredit myself and it is very easy to read. I have also embarked on the task of labelling all of my wires and cables attached to my tv and computers. This will make it very easy in the future should I ever choose to remove/upgrade a device. I just look for the appropriate tags and unplug the wires. I will also be printing scanable barcodes so that I can scan and enter information about each wire/cable and where I bought it. That way, if I need more, I can scan the tag and I will know exactly what it is I am after. see less

I use a home office for much of my work and have struggled with other printers to complete my work. This new printer has the most excellent capacity, features, and pricing one could imagine for an office equipment upgrade. It also makes me feel like I belong to a real office with the work function it provides. I am very pleased with the purchase and it fits where the old ones did. I read the PC Magazine article that awarded the XP-600 4 out of 5 stars; and I was completely convinced this printer was well worth the name, productivity and price. First, I use the iPad and iPhone and wanted to use a wireless printer (AirPlay ) that was also a MFP. Secondly, I wanted a printer that was hassle free in the area of set up. Finally, the copies and photos need to look brilliant, clear and have a non-smear look to them. The EP-600 is A+++++. see less

Wow! I was looking for a scanner when I ran across the Epson XP600. It does it all and wireless. Setup was EZ. Documentation is great. Website has plenty of info, including videos. The XP600 found my network with no issues. I tested print, scan, print photo. A click or two and you are there. Scanned an old black and white photo perfectly. Photo quality exceeded my expectations. Great colors. Fun and great for home use. Lots of bang for your buck. I haven't setup up smart phone use yet. I thought I saw a video if needed. Thanks Epson! see less

I do a job every year that requires scanning hundreds of old photos and clippings. I don't know how its speed compares to others on the market today, but this scanner is 3-4 times faster than my old one, and the color is excellent. It saved me a lot of hours. I bought this scanner specifically for slides and photos. Some of the photos are b&w and are almost a century old. The Epson Perfection V600 is extremely fast when copying photos ( e.g. 4x6 in less than a minute.) I am running an I-7 3930k Intel processor with 32gb ram.I use a new sweat sock to gently dust off the photo before I scan it. This saves a lot of problems and time when touching up the finished product. When scanning photos, I use full auto mode and then touch up any blemishes with adobe 64bit photoshop. When scanning slides, I use professional mode and check the unsharp mask, grain reduction, color restoration and backlight correction. I also set the target size to 4x6. When viewing the finished product on a 55in led tv, the picture takes up almost the whole screen.pros- I am impressed by the speed of the V600. A 4x6 photo scans in less than a minute. 4 slides scan in under 2 minutes. Unlike what other reviewers have said about the flimsy slide holder, (connected at one point), I think it's fine. After scanning 4 slides, by experience, you should lift off the holder and clean the glass. The slides have cardboard borders. You'd be surprised how much fuzz comes off them. cons- Like other reviewers, I did find debris stuck on the underside of the glass. In my case, the location was in two places at the top of the scanner. You can deal with that situation in three ways, scan the photo in the debris area and touch up the photo, scan in an area that doesn't have the debris (my choice), or simply return the scanner. Sometimes the photo result is not right, upside down or sideways. I double click to view the photo and rotate it to the proper perspective with the turn buttons on windows photo viewer. see less
